Hindi Pakhwara is not an event only but we need to look at its broader aspect - KK Yadav

A programme was organized in Postmaster General Office, Allahabad Region on the occasion of closing ceremony on Hindi Pakhwara on 29th September, 2014. In the beginning of the programme, Mr. MP Mishra, Asstt. Director welcomed Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region and briefed about the programme organized during Hindi Pakhwara.


Mr.Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad region said that Hindi is our mother tongue and one should not connect it with Pakhwara only. He also highlighted the role of postal department in popularizing Hindi and said that using its vast network, postal department had united the nation and played an important role in implementation of Rajbhasha policies. Director Mr. Yadav further said that Hindi is not just a language but also a symbol of cultural heritage, which is uniting languages across the country and had played an important role in emotional unity and promotion of cultural diversity of the country. He addressed the officers and the employees and urged to encourage Hindi in government work whole heartedly so that the status of national language could reflect in true spirit.

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad felicitated the winners of various competition organized at Postmaster General Office. For Essay writing Vikram Singh, Ajay Prakash Diwakar, R K Srivastava, for Hindi typing Vineet Tandon, Rajendra Kumar Yadav, Ratnesh Kumar Tiwari and for slogan competition Ram Bahadur, Ijlesh Kumar and Ashok Kumar Pandey were awarded respectively with first, second and third prize.  The programme was conducted by Sree Ram Shukla.
