गुजरात में 'विधवा वित्तीय सहायता' (डबल्युएफए) के तहत अब 'गंगा स्वरूपा योजना' लाभार्थी इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक खातों में पा सकेंगी राशि - पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कृष्ण कुमार यादव

गुजरात सरकार द्वारा विधवा महिलाओं को आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान करने तथा उन्हें स्वतंत्र और आत्मनिर्भर बनाने के क्रम में आरंभ "गंगा स्वरूपा आर्थिक सहायता योजना", जिसे 'विधवा वित्तीय सहायता' (डबल्युएफए) योजना के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, का लाभ अब इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक के माध्यम से भी लिया जा सकेगा। पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र में कुल 1,47,647 डबल्युएफए लाभार्थी पोस्ट ऑफिस खातों के माध्यम से वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त कर रही हैं। इसी क्रम में हाल ही में महिला एवं बाल विकास विभाग, गुजरात सरकार ने डाकघरों में चल रहे  डबल्युएफए लाभार्थियों के आधार सीडेड आईपीपीबी खाते खोलने हेतु पहल की है, ताकि आधार आधारित डीबीटी के माध्यम से लाभ सीधे लाभार्थियों तक पहुंचाया जा सके। ऐसे में  जो भी लाभार्थी वर्तमान में पोस्ट ऑफिस खातों के माध्यम से लाभ प्राप्त कर रहे हैं, वे अब अपना लाभ आईपीपीबी खातों में प्राप्त करेंगे। इस हेतु उत्तर गुजरात के अंतर्गत अहमदाबाद, गांधीनगर, महेसाणा, पाटन, साबरकांठा, अरवल्ली, बनासकांठा जिलों में  डाक विभाग द्वारा  विशेष अभियान चलाकर 'विधवा वित्तीय सहायता' के नए आईपीपीबी खाता खोले जायेंगे।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि डबल्युएफए लाभार्थी अपना आईपीपीबी खाता खोलने के लिए निकटतम डाकघर से संपर्क कर सकती  हैं। आईपीपीबी खाते डाकिया और ग्रामीण डाक सेवक द्वारा लाभार्थी के घर पर भी अनुरोध पर खोले जा सकते हैं। खाता खोलने के लिए लाभार्थी को आधार कार्ड, आधार से लिंक मोबाइल नंबर एवं बचत खाता पासबुक की आवश्यकता होगी। ये खाते ज़ीरो बैलेंस से भी खोले जा सकते हैं। आईपीपीबी खाता खुलने के बाद उक्त खाते में आधार सीडिंग की जाएगी। यदि किसी लाभार्थी के पास पहले से ही आईपीपीबी खाता है, तो डब्ल्यूएफए भुगतान प्राप्त करने हेतु केवल आधार सीडिंग कराना आवश्यक होगा। लाभार्थी का आईपीपीबी खाता पहले से मौजूद डाकघर बचत खाते से भी लिंक किया जा सकता है, और डाकघर बचत खाता और आईपीपीबी के फायदे एक साथ उठाए जा सकते हैं।

अहमदाबाद मंडल के प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक श्री चिराग मेहता ने बताया कि अहमदाबाद में  कुल 33,990 डबल्युएफए लाभार्थी पोस्ट ऑफिस खातों के माध्यम से वित्तीय सहायता प्राप्त कर रही हैं। यदि किसी लाभार्थी को आईपीपीबी खाता खोलने में कोई समस्या हो, तो वे समाधान हेतु 8210608040 पर संपर्क कर सकती हैं।

ઉત્તર ગુજરાતમાં પોસ્ટ વિભાગ દ્વારા  વિશેષ અભિયાન હેઠળ ‘વિધવા નાણાકીય સહાય’ માટે ઈન્ડિયા પોસ્ટ પેમેન્ટ બેંક (આઈપીપીબી) ખાતાઓ ખોલવામાં આવશે

ગુજરાત સરકાર દ્વારા વિધવા મહિલાઓને નાણાકીય સહાય પ્રદાન કરીને તેમને સ્વતંત્ર અને આત્મનિર્ભર બનાવવા માટે શરૂ કરવામાં આવેલી 'ગંગા સ્વરૂપા આર્થિક સહાય યોજના', જેને 'વિધવા નાણાકીય સહાય' (WFA) યોજના તરીકે પણ ઓળખવામાં આવે છે, તેનો લાભ હવે ઈન્ડિયા પોસ્ટ પેમેન્ટ્સ બેંક  મારફતે પણ મેળવી શકાશે. પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે ઉત્તર ગુજરાત પરિક્ષેત્રમાં કુલ 1,47,647 ડબલ્યુએફએ  લાભાર્થીઓ પોસ્ટ ઓફિસ ખાતાઓ દ્વારા આર્થિક સહાય મેળવી રહ્યા છે. આ અનુસંધાને તાજેતરમાં મહિલા અને બાળ વિકાસ વિભાગ, ગુજરાત સરકાર  દ્વારા તમામ ડબલ્યુએફએ લાભાર્થીઓના આધાર-સીડેડ આઈપીપીબી ખાતા ખોલવા માટે પહેલ કરવામાં આવી છે, જેથી આધાર આધારિત ડીબીટી દ્વારા લાભ સીધો લાભાર્થીઓ સુધી પહોંચાડી શકાય. હાલમાં જે લાભાર્થીઓ પોસ્ટ ઓફિસ ખાતાઓ મારફતે લાભ મેળવી રહ્યા છે, તેઓ હવે પોતાનો લાભ આઈપીપીબી ખાતાઓમાં પ્રાપ્ત કરશે. આ માટે ઉત્તર ગુજરાત હેઠળના અમદાવાદ, ગાંધીનગર, મહેસાણા, પાટણ, સાબરકાંઠા, અરવલ્લી અને બનાસકાંઠા જિલ્લાઓમાં પોસ્ટ વિભાગ દ્વારા  વિશેષ અભિયાન ચલાવી ‘વિધવા નાણાકીય સહાય’ હેઠળ નવા આઈપીપીબી ખાતાઓ ખોલવામાં આવશે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે ડબલ્યુએફએ લાભાર્થીઓ પોતાનું આઈપીપીબી ખાતું ખોલાવવા માટે નજીકની પોસ્ટઓફિસનો સંપર્ક કરી શકે છે. ઈન્ડિયા પોસ્ટ પેમેન્ટ બેંક (આઈપીપીબી) ખાતાઓ પોસ્ટમેન અને ગ્રામિણ ડાક સેવક દ્વારા વિનંતી પર લાભાર્થીના ઘરે જઈને પણ ખોલી આપવામાં આવશે. ખાતું ખોલવા માટે આધાર કાર્ડ, આધાર સાથે જોડાયેલ મોબાઇલ નંબર અને બચત ખાતાની પાસબુક જરૂરી રહેશે. આ ખાતાઓ શૂન્ય બેલેન્સથી પણ ખોલી શકાય છે. આઈપીપીબી ખાતું ખુલ્યા બાદ તેમાં આધાર સીડિંગ કરવામાં આવશે. જો કોઈ લાભાર્થી પાસે પહેલેથી જ આઈપીપીબી ખાતું હોય, તો ડબલ્યુએફએ ચુકવણી મેળવવા માટે માત્ર આધાર સીડિંગ કરાવવું જરૂરી રહેશે. લાભાર્થીનું આઈપીપીબી ખાતું પહેલેથી હાજર પોસ્ટ ઓફિસ બચત ખાતા સાથે પણ લિંક કરી શકાય છે, જેથી પોસ્ટઓફિસ બચત ખાતા અને આઈપીપીબી બંનેના લાભ એક સાથે મેળવી શકાય.

અમદાવાદ મંડળના પ્રવર અધિક્ષક શ્રી ચિરાગ મહેતાએ જણાવ્યું કે અમદાવાદમાં કુલ 33,990 ડબલ્યુએફએ લાભાર્થીઓ પોસ્ટ ઓફિસ ખાતાઓ મારફતે આર્થિક સહાય પ્રાપ્ત કરી રહ્યા છે. જો કોઈ લાભાર્થીને ઈન્ડિયા પોસ્ટ પેમેન્ટ બેંક (આઈપીપીબી) ખાતું ખોલવામાં કોઈ મુશ્કેલી પડે, તો તેઓ સહાય માટે 8210608040 પર સંપર્ક કરી શકે છે.

India Post will launch Special Drive in North Gujarat to Open IPPB Accounts for Widow Financial Assistance

The "Ganga Swarupa Arthik Sahay Yojana", also known as 'Widow Financial Assistance' (WFA) scheme, started by the Gujarat Government to provide financial assistance to widows and make them independent and self-reliant. The benefits of this scheme will now be availed through India Post Payments Bank now. Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that a total of 1,47,647 WFA beneficiaries in the North Gujarat Region is currently receiving financial assistance through Post Office Saving accounts. In this regard, the Women and Child Development Department, Government of Gujarat, has recently initiated steps to open Aadhaar-seeded IPPB accounts of WFA beneficiaries who are operating accounts in Post offices, so that benefits can be delivered directly to the beneficiaries through Aadhaar-based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Accordingly, beneficiaries who are presently receiving benefits through Post Office Saving accounts may now receive their benefits in IPPB accounts. For this purpose, Department of Posts is conducting a special drive in the districts of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mahesana, Patan, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, and Banaskantha under North Gujarat Region to open new IPPB accounts under the Widow Financial Assistance scheme.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that WFA beneficiaries can contact their nearest Post Office to open an IPPB account. IPPB accounts can also be opened by Postman or Gramin Dak Sevak at the beneficiary’s doorstep as per request. To open the account, the beneficiary will be required to provide Aadhaar card, mobile number linked with Aadhaar, and  Post Office Savings account passbook. These accounts can be opened with zero balance. After the IPPB account is opened, Aadhaar seeding will be carried out in the account. If a beneficiary already has an India Post Payments Bank account, only Aadhaar seeding will be required to receive WFA payments. The beneficiary’s IPPB account can also be linked with the existing Post Office Savings Account, and the benefits of Post Office Savings Account and IPPB can be availed simultaneously.

Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Ahmedabad City Division, Shri Chirag Mehta, informed that a total of 33,990 WFA beneficiaries in Ahmedabad are currently receiving financial assistance through Post Office accounts.
