Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav made a courtesy call on the Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendrabhai Patel

Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, North Gujarat Region, Ahmedabad has made a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel, at his office in Gandhinagar on 12th August, 2024. During this, initiatives taken by Department of Posts in various fields were briefed to Hon’ble Chief Minister and he appreciated the active role played by India Post in the state and assured of all possible help.

During the meeting on 12th August 2024, Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav gifted his books to the Chief Minister. Replica of a stamp 'Jai Hind-15 August 1947' displaying the emblem of Government of India and  'Ramayana' stamps released by India Post were also presented along with Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Prasad. The Chief Minister was quite overwhelmed by these gifts and expressed his best wishes.

It is noteworthy that Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav is a renowned Hindi literature, author and blogger. An Officer of 2001 batch of the Indian Postal Service, Sh. Yadav has authored 7 books across various genres. A native of Azamgarh district in Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yadav has received his early education from JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya, Azamgarh and did Post graduation from University of Allahabad. It is a coincidence that he started his career in civil services as Senior Superintendent of Post offices, Surat Division in the year 2003. After that serving in various capacities in Lucknow, Kanpur, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Prayagraj, Jodhpur, Lucknow, Varanasi, he has once again joined as Postmaster General in Gujarat circle on 9th July, 2024.

उत्तरी गुजरात परिक्षेत्र, अहमदाबाद के नवागत पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने गुजरात के माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेन्द्रभाई पटेल जी से गांधीनगर स्थित उनके कार्यालय में शिष्टाचार मुलाकात की। इस दौरान डाक विभाग द्वारा सेवाओं में किये जा रहे नवाचार के बारे में उन्हें जानकारी दी।

 

 

 

 

 

 

मुलाकात के दौरान पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने मुख्यमंत्री को अपनी पुस्तकें भी भेंट की। श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर प्रसाद के साथ भारत सरकार के राज चिन्ह के साथ जारी 'जय हिंद' डाक टिकट और 'रामायण : राम दरबार' पर जारी डाक टिकट की खूबसूरत प्रतिकृति भी भेंट की, जिसे प्राप्त कर मुख्यमंत्री जी काफी अभिभूत हुए और अपनी शुभकामनायें दीं।

गौरतलब है कि मूलत: उत्तर प्रदेश के आज़मगढ़ निवासी श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ख़्यात हिन्दी साहित्यकार, लेखक व ब्लॉगर भी हैं। भारतीय डाक सेवा के वर्ष 2001 बैच के अधिकारी श्री यादव की विभिन्न विधाओं में 7 पुस्तकें  प्रकाशित हो चुकी हैं। एक कुशल व संवेदनशील प्रशासक के रूप में लोकप्रिय श्री यादव की शिक्षा जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय, आज़मगढ़ और इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय से हुई है। यह भी सुखद संयोग है कि श्री यादव ने सिविल सेवाओं में अपने करियर की शुरुआत वर्ष 2003 में प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक, सूरत मण्डल के रूप में की थी। उसके बाद लखनऊ, कानपुर, अण्डमान-निकोबार द्वीप समूह, प्रयागराज, जोधपुर, लखनऊ, वाराणसी के बाद एक बार फिर से गुजरात में पोस्टमास्टर जनरल के पद पर नियुक्ति हुई है।

મુલાકાત દરમિયાન, પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણકુમાર યાદવે મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીને પોતાની પુસ્તકો પણ ભેટ આપી. શ્રી કાશી વિશ્વનાથ મંદિરના પ્રસાદની સાથે ભારત સરકારના રાજચિહ્નિત'જય હિંદ' ડાક ટિકિટ અને 'રામાયણ : રામ દરબાર' ઉપર પ્રકાશિત ડાક ટિકિટ ની સુંદર નકલ પણ ભેટ આપી, જેને પ્રાપ્ત કરીને મુખ્યમંત્રીશ્રીખૂબ જ પ્રભાવિત થયા અને પોતાની શુભકામનાઓ આપી.

વિશેષ નોંધનીય છે કે મૂળઉત્તરપ્રદેશના આઝમગઢ નિવાસી શ્રી કૃષ્ણકુમાર યાદવ પ્રખ્યાત હિન્દી સાહિત્યકાર, લેખક અને બ્લોગર પણ છે. ભારતીય પોસ્ટ સેવા ના વર્ષ 2001 બેચના અધિકારી શ્રી યાદવની વિવિધ શૈલીઓમાં 7 પુસ્તકો પ્રકાશિત થઈ ચૂકેલ છે. એક કુશળ અને સંવેદનશીલ વહીવટદાર તરીકે લોકપ્રિય શ્રી યાદવનું શિક્ષણ જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય, આઝમગઢ અને અલાહાબાદ યુનિવર્સિટીમાંથી થયેલ છે. આ પણ એક સવિશેષતા છે કે શ્રી યાદવએ સિવિલ સર્વિસિસ માં પોતાની કારકિર્દીની શરૂઆત વર્ષ ૨૦૦૩ માં પ્રવર ડાક અધિક્ષક, સુરત વિભાગતરીકે કરી હતી. ત્યારબાદ લખનઉ, કાનપુર, અંદમાન-નિકોબાર દ્વીપસમૂહ, પ્રયાગરાજ, જોધપુર, લખનઉ, વારાણસી અને પછી ફરી એક વાર ગુજરાતમાં પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલના પદ પર નિમણૂક થઈ છે.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendrabhai Patel, released a Special Cover and cancellation on ‘Dak Chaupal’ by India Post

Department of Posts is organizing 'Dak Chaupal' in every district to deliver essential and citizen-centric government services to the public. A Special Cover and cancellation on ‘Dak Chaupal’ was released by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel at the New Sachivalaya, Swarnim Sankul, Gandhinagar on 12.08.2024 to create awareness and inspire people about ‘Dak Chaupal’ in Gujarat. The Postmaster General, Ahmedabad Headquarter Region, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav and Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Gandhinagar Division Shri Piyush Rajak, were also present on this occasion.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel appreciated the 'Dak Chaupal' initiative, stating that ‘Dak Chaupal’ would serve as an important link between the public and government services, reducing barriers related to distance and accessibility. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister, there have been many positive changes in the role of the Postal Department. This initiative aims to bring essential government and citizen-centric services to the farthest reaches of society, benefiting the people of Gujarat and all beneficiaries. It will also facilitate access to various social and welfare schemes at both central and state levels under one roof.

Postmaster General, Ahmedabad Headquarter Region, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav told that on August 15, along with the hoisting of the national flag on Independence Day at every post office, people will be made aware of various government welfare schemes and their benefits through 'Dak Chaupal'. Various ‘Dak Chaupal’ events are being organized across Gujarat to connect the last mile in society with the concept of Digital India, financial inclusion, and Antyodaya. These events will include awareness about government services like financial services, insurance, payments bank services, DBT, e-commerce, and export services under the initiative 'Government Services at Your Doorstep'.

 डाक विभाग द्वारा आवश्यक सरकारी और नागरिक-केंद्रित सेवाओं को जन-जन तक पहुँचाने हेतु हर जिले में 'डाक चौपाल' का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। गुजरात में ‘डाक चौपाल’ के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक और प्रेरित करने के उद्देश्य से गुजरात के माननीय मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेन्द्रभाई पटेल द्वारा नया सचिवालय, स्वर्णिम संकुल, गांधीनगर में ‘डाक चौपाल’ पर एक विशेष आवरण एवं विरूपण जारी किया गया। अहमदाबाद मुख्यालय परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव और गांधीनगर मंडल के प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर श्री पियूष रजक भी इस अवसर पर उपस्थित रहे।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेन्द्रभाई पटेल ने 'डाक चौपाल' अभियान की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि डाक चौपाल जनमानस और सरकारी कार्यों के बीच महत्वपूर्ण कड़ी के रूप में काम करेंगे, जिससे दूरी और पहुँच जैसी बाधाएँ कम होंगी। माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी के नेतृत्व में डाक विभाग की भूमिका में तमाम सकारात्मक बदलाव आये हैं। ऐसे में, इस पहल का उद्देश्य आवश्यक सरकारी और नागरिक-केंद्रित सेवाओं को समाज के अंतिम छोर तक ले जाना है, जिसका फायदा गुजरात की जनता और सभी लाभार्थियों को मिलेगा। केंद्रीय सेवाओं के साथ-साथ राज्य स्तर की विभिन्न सामाजिक एवं कल्याणकारी योजनाओं का लाभ भी एक छत के नीचे प्राप्त हो सकेगा।

अहमदाबाद मुख्यालय परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि 15 अगस्त को हर डाकघर में स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर तिरंगा फहराने के साथ ही 'डाक चौपाल' के माध्यम से सरकार की तमाम जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं और इनके लाभों के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक किया जायेगा। डिजिटल इण्डिया, वित्तीय समावेशन और अंत्योदय की संकल्पना से समाज के अंतिम व्यक्ति को जोड़ने हेतु गुजरात में विभिन्न जगहों पर डाक चौपाल का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इनमें ‘सरकारी सेवाएँ आपके द्वार’ के तहत वित्तीय सेवायें, बीमा, पेमेन्ट्स बैंक सेवायें, डीबीटी, ई कॉमर्स और निर्यात सेवाएँ सहित तमाम नागरिक केंद्रित सेवाओं के प्रति जागरूकता के साथ लोगों को जोड़ा जा रहा है।

 

 

 

 

सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता तथा महिला एवं बाल कल्याण मंत्री श्रीमती भानुबेन बाबरिया ने गांधीनगर में 'डाक चौपाल' का किया शुभारम्भ

डाक विभाग द्वारा सरकार की तमाम जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं और इनके लाभों को लोगों तक पहुँचाने के क्रम में 12 अगस्त, 2024 को नया सचिवालय, स्वर्णिम संकुल, गांधीनगर में 'डाक चौपाल' का आयोजन किया गया। गुजरात की सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता तथा महिला एवं बाल कल्याण मंत्री श्रीमती भानुबेन बाबरिया ने बतौर मुख्य अतिथि कार्यक्रम का दीप प्रज्वलन कर शुभारंभ किया। उन्होंने सुकन्या समृद्धि योजना और महिला सम्मान बचत पत्र की लाभार्थियों को पासबुक वितरित करते हुए सशक्त नारी-समृद्ध समाज का आह्वान किया। डाक जीवन बीमा और इण्डिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक के दुर्घटना बीमा के क्लेम भुगतान का चेक भी वितरित किया। इस अवसर पर गांधीनगर की मेयर श्रीमती मीराबेन पटेल, अहमदाबाद मुख्यालय परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव, महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्रालय सचिव श्री राकेश शंकर और गांधीनगर मंडल के प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर श्री पियूष रजक भी मंचासीन रहे।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डाकघर सरकार और आमजन के बीच सेवाओं को प्रदान करने वाले एक अहम कड़ी के रूप में उभरे हैं। डाक विभाग पत्र-पार्सल के साथ-साथ बचत बैंक, डाक जीवन बीमा, इण्डिया पोस्ट पेमेन्ट्स बैंक, डाकघर पासपोर्ट सेवा केन्द्र, आधार नामांकन एवं अद्यतनीकरण, कॉमन सर्विस सेंटर, डाक घरनिर्यात केंद्र जैसे तमाम जनोन्मुखी कार्य कर रहा है। आईपीपीबी के माध्यम से डाकिया आज एक चलते फिरते बैंक के रूप में कार्य कर रहे हैं। सीईएलसी के तहत घर बैठे बच्चों का आधार बनाने, मोबाइल अपडेट करने, डिजिटल लाइफ सर्टिफिकेट, डीबीटी, बिल पेमेंट, एईपीएस द्वारा बैंक खाते से भुगतान, वाहनों का बीमा, स्वास्थ्य बीमा, दुर्घटना बीमा, प्रधानमंत्री जीवन ज्योति बीमा योजना जैसी तमाम सेवाएं आईपीपीबी द्वारा डाकिया के माध्यम से घर बैठे मुहैया कराई जा रही हैं। पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि 15 अगस्त को हर डाकघर में स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर तिरंगा फहराने के साथ ही 'डाक चौपाल' के माध्यम से सरकार की तमाम जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं और इनके लाभों के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक किया जायेगा।

Department of Posts organized a 'DakChaupal' at the New Sachivalaya, SwarnimSankul, Gandhinagar on August 12, 2024 to extend the government's welfare schemes and their benefits to the public. The event was inaugurated by Minister of Social Justice & Empowerment and Women & Child Welfare, Smt. Bhanuben Babariya, who lit the ceremonial lamp as the chief guest. During the event, she distributed passbooks to the beneficiaries of the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana and Mahila Samman Savings Certificate, calling for an empowered woman and a prosperous society. She also handed over cheques for claim payment of Postal Life Insurance and India Post Payments Bank accidental insurance. The event was graced by the presence of Mayor of Gandhinagar, Smt. Meeraben Patel, Postmaster General, Ahmedabad Head Quarter Region Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Secretary of the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Shri Rakesh Shankar and Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Gandhinagar Division, Shri. Piyush Rajak.

Social Justice and Empowerment and Women and Child Welfare Minister Smt. Bhanuben Babaria appreciated the accessibility of citizen-centric services through DakChaupal and said that it would provide significant convenience to all citizens, especially women. Further, added that under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, many schemes have been initiated for social justice, women and child development, so that their standard of living continuously improves.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that post offices have emerged as an important link between Government and the Public for delivering services. In addition to handling letters and parcels, Department of Posts is engaged in a wide range of public-facing services such as Savings banks, Postal life insurance, India Post Payments Bank, Post office Passport service centers, Aadhaar enrollment and updating, Common service centers, and Dak Ghar Niryat Kendra etc. In present scenario, postmen are functioning as mobile banks through IPPB. Under CELC, services such as Aadhaar enrollment for children at home, Mobile number updates, Digital life certificates, DBT, Bill payments, Bank account withdrawals via AEPS, Vehicle insurance, Health insurance, Accident insurance, and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana are all being made available at the doorstep through the postman. Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav also mentioned that 'DakChaupal' will be organized along with hoisting of the National Flag at every Post Office on August 15 to spread awareness amongst people about the government's welfare schemes and their benefits.

Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Gandhinagar Division, Shri Piyush Rajak, welcomed the invited guests and expressed a commitment for delivering government services to the people of Gandhinagar through DakChaupal.

 

India Post introduced Designer envelopes for sending Rakhi through Post Office, price only ₹10

रक्षाबंधन पर्व 19 अगस्त को मनाया जायेगा और इसके लिए डाक विभाग ने अभी से तैयारियाँ आरंभ कर दी हैं। उत्तरी गुजरात परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि राखी भेजने के लिए विशेष रुप से निर्मित रंगीन डिजाइनर राखी लिफाफे डाकघरों के माध्यम से उपलब्ध कराये जा रहे हैं। ये विशेष राखी लिफाफे अहमदाबाद में अहमदाबाद जीपीओ, नवरंगपुरा और रेवड़ी बाजार प्रधान डाकघर के अलावा उत्तरी गुजरात के अंतर्गत अहमदाबाद, गांधीनगर, महेसाणा, अरावली, साबरकांठा, बनासकांठा और पाटन जिलों के प्रधान डाकघरों और चयनित उप डाकघरों में बिक्री के लिए उपलब्ध होंगे।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि ये डिजानइर राखी लिफाफे 11 सेमी X 22 से.मी. आकार के हैं जिनका मूल्य ₹ 10  मात्र है जो डाक शुल्क के अतिरिक्त है। लिफाफे के बाएं हिस्से के ऊपरी भाग में भारतीय डाक का लोगो और रक्षाबंधन की डिजाइन के साथ अंग्रेजी में राखी लिफाफा और नीचे की  तरफ ‘रक्षाबंधन’ लिखा गया है। पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि रंगीन और डिजाइनदार होने की वजह से इन्हें अन्य डाक से अलग करने में समय की बचत और रक्षाबन्धन पर्व के पूर्व वितरण कराने में भी सहूलियत  होगी।

Raksha Bandhan festival will be celebrated on 19th August and the Postal Department has already started preparations for it. Postmaster General of North Gujarat Region, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that colorful designer Rakhi envelopes are being made available through Post Offices for sending Rakhi. These special Rakhi envelopes will be available for sale at Ahmedabad GPO, Navrangpura HPO and Revadi Bazaar Head Post Offices in Ahmedabad as well as Head Post Offices and selected Sub Post offices of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Mahesana, Aravalli, Sabarkantha, Banaskantha and Patan districts under North Gujarat.

Postmaster General, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav told that these designer Rakhi envelopes are of the size of 11 cm X 22 cm. The cost of envelope is only ₹ 10 which is exclusive of postage charges. Rakhi envelope is designed with India Post logo and Raksha Bandhan image. He added that due to specific design, it will help in saving time in sorting them from other mails and also in getting them delivered before ‘Raksha Bandhan’ festival.

 

'पोस्टल प्रीमियर लीग-2024' क्रिकेट टूर्नामेंट का पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने किया उद्घाटन

डाककर्मियों के बीच खेलों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए, डाक विभाग, अहमदाबाद सिटी डिवीजन द्वारा 'पोस्टल प्रीमियर लीग-2024' का आयोजन किया गया। अहमदाबाद मुख्यालय क्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने V9 क्रिकेट ग्राउंड, साइंस सिटी सर्कल, अहमदाबाद में टूर्नामेंट का 28 जुलाई, 2024 को उद्घाटन किया। अहमदाबाद सिटी डिवीजन के वरिष्ठ डाकघर अधीक्षक श्री विकास पालवे ने सभी क्रिकेट खिलाड़ियों को खेलो इंडिया की शपथ दिलवाई और मुख्य अतिथि को सभी क्रिकेट टीमों का परिचय दिलवाया।

 

 

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि क्रिकेट टीम भावना, परस्पर सहयोग, अनुशासन, और अंत तक जूझने का प्रतीक है। ऐसी प्रतियोगिताएं कर्मचारियों में उत्साहवर्धन करती हैं, उन्हें स्वस्थ रहने की प्रेरणा देती हैं तथा उनके सामाजिक कौशल का निर्माण करती हैं। अहमदाबाद सिटी डिवीजन द्वारा इस प्रतियोगिता के पहली बार आयोजन पर उन्होंने ख़ुशी भी जताई।

 

टूर्नामेंट में अहमदाबाद सिटी पोस्टल डिवीजन के तहत 2 महिला क्रिकेट टीमों सहित कुल 10 क्रिकेट टीम भाग ले रही है। टूर्नामेंट के पहले दिन 08–08 ओवर के सात मैच खेले गए। ओढव ओलंपियन और ड्रैगन इलेवन ने पहले दिन दो मैच जीतकर सेमीफाइनल में अपनी जगह पक्की कर ली है। वहीं नॉर्थन स्टार, वेस्ट ग्लैडिएटर और नवरंगपुरा नाइट राइडर्स ने दो में से एक मैच जीता। टूर्नामेंट के सेमी फाइनल और फाइनल मैच 04.08.2024 को खेले जाएंगे।

પોસ્ટલ વિભાગ દ્વારા V9 ક્રિકેટ ગ્રાઉન્ડ, સાયન્સ સિટી સર્કલ, અમદાવાદ ખાતે આયોજિત ‘પોસ્ટલ પ્રીમિયર લીગ – 2024’ ક્રિકેટ ટુર્નામેન્ટ માં પોસ્ટલ સ્ટાફની જોવા મળી સક્રિય ભાગીદારી.

પોસ્ટલ સ્ટાફમાં રમતગમતને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે, અમદાવાદ શહેર વિભાગના પોસ્ટ વિભાગ દ્વારા ‘પોસ્ટલ પ્રીમિયર લીગ – 2024’નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું. શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવ, પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ, અમદાવાદ હેડ ક્વાર્ટર રિજિયન દ્વારા V9 ક્રિકેટ ગ્રાઉન્ડ, સાયન્સ સિટી સર્કલ, અમદાવાદ ખાતે ટુર્નામેન્ટનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કરવામાં આવ્યું. અમદાવાદ સિટી ડિવિઝનના સિનિયર સુપરિન્ટેન્ડેન્ટ ઓફ પોસ્ટ ઓફિસ શ્રી વિકાસ પાલવેએ તમામ ક્રિકેટ ખેલાડીઓને ખેલો ઈન્ડિયાના શપથ લેવડાવ્યા અને તમામ ક્રિકેટ ટીમનો મુખ્ય મહેમાન સમક્ષ પરિચય કરાવ્યો.

પોસ્ટ માસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે કહ્યું કે ક્રિકેટ એ ટીમ ભાવના, પરસ્પર સહયોગ, અનુશાસન અને અંત સુધી લડવાનું પ્રતીક છે. આવી સ્પર્ધાઓ કર્મચારીઓના મનોબળને વેગ આપે છે, તેમને સ્વસ્થ રહેવા અને તેમનું સામાજિક કૌશલ્ય બનાવવા માટે પ્રેરિત કરે છે. તેમણે અમદાવાદ સિટી ડિવિઝન દ્વારા પ્રથમ વખત આ સ્પર્ધાનું આયોજન કરવા બદલ ખુશી પણ વ્યક્ત કરી.

ટુર્નામેન્ટમાં 2 મહિલા ક્રિકેટ ટીમો સહિત અમદાવાદ સિટી પોસ્ટલ વિભાગ હેઠળની કુલ 10 ક્રિકેટ ટીમો ભાગ લઈ રહી છે.  ટુર્નામેન્ટના પ્રથમ દિવસે 08-08 ઓવરની સાત મેચ રમાઈ છે. ઓઢવ ઓલિમ્પિયન્સ અને ડ્રેગન ઈલેવન એ પ્રથમ દિવસે બે મેચ જીતીને સેમીફાઈનલમાં પોતાનું સ્થાન નિશ્ચિત કર્યું છે. જ્યારે નૉર્થન સ્ટાર, વેસ્ટ ગ્લેડીયેટર અને નવરંગપુરા નાઈટ રાઈડર્સે બે મેચમાંથી એક મેચ જીતી છે.

ટુર્નામેન્ટની સેમી ફાઈનલ અને ફાઈનલ મેચ 04.08.2024 ના રોજ રમાશે.

 

Postal Premier League – 2024’ Cricket tournament inaugurated by Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General.

Active participation seen in ‘Postal Premier League – 2024 ’ organized by Postal Department at V9 Cricket Ground, Science City Circle, Ahmedabad.

In order to promote sports amongst postal staff, ‘Postal Premier League – 2024’ was organized by Department of Post, Ahmedabad City Division. Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, Ahmedabad Head Quarter Region has inaugurated the tournament at V9 Cricket Ground, Science City Circle, Ahmedabad. Shri Vikas Palve, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Ahmedabad City Division administered Khelo India Pledge to all the cricket players and introduced all the cricket teams to the chief guest.

Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General said that Cricket symbolizes team spirit, mutual cooperation, discipline, and fighting till the end. Such competitions boost the morale of employees, motivate them to stay healthy and build their social skills. He also expressed happiness over organizing this competition for the first time by Ahmedabad City Division.

Total 10 cricket teams under Ahmedabad City Postal Division including 2 women cricket teams have participated in the tournament.  Seven matches of 08-08 overs have been played on the first day of the tournament. Odhav Olympians and Dragon XI have won two matches on the first day and secured their position in Semi Final. Whereas Northern Star, West Gladiator and Navrangpura Knight Riders, have won one match out of two matches.

Semi Finals and Final match of the tournament will be played on 04.08.2024.
