Now “Suggest a Stamp” on a theme of your choice to India Post

If you wish to get a stamp released on a theme of your choice, it’s time for your wish to come true by a special facility provided by Postal Department. Explaining in detail about this service Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region told that India Post is inviting suggestions of the general public for new subjects/ themes to be depicted on the Commemorative Postage Stamps. The suggestions can be given on any theme related to art, culture, national heritage, flora and fauna, sports, wild life, nature, historical monuments, children oriented subjects and world heritage. The Theme/ subject should be such that can be depicted on the stamps in a visually appealing manner so as to be of inters to Philatelic collectors.

 

          Director Postal Services, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav further clarified that suggestions given regarding personalities, institutions, and events will not be considered. This poll with the name “Suggest a Stamp” will remain open up to 15 February, 2013 and suggestion may be sent to e-mail address ‘stamppoll@gmail.com’.

 

          Director Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav told that best three suggestions, chosen at National Level will be recommended for inclusion in Stamp issue programme of 2014 and suitable credits will be given in the Information Boucher for suggesting the selected theme/ subject.

          Mr. Yadav also told that before submitting the entry, the catalogue of stamps issued, available on India Post’s website www.indiapost.gov.in may be perused so as to avoid any repetition in the subjects/ themes. Postal Department is also writing letters to different Departments, Institutions, schools and colleges for wide publicity of the scheme.

अगर आप चाहते हैं कि आपकी पंसद का डाक टिकट जारी होना चाहिए, तो इसके लिये भारतीय डाक विभाग ने एक विशेष सुविधा मुहैया करायी है। इस सम्बन्ध में विस्तृत जानकारी देते हुये इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवायें कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इसके लिये डाक विभाग राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर एक पोल (मत) कर रहा है जिसके तहत लोगों से विभिन्न विषयों पर डाक टिकट जारी करने हेतु सुझाव आमंत्रित किये गये हैं। इस संबंध में कला, संस्कृति, राष्ट्रीय विरासत, फूल और पौधे, खेल, वन्य जीवन, प्रकृति, ऐतिहासिक स्मारक, बच्चों से जुड़े विषय और विश्व स्मारकों पर सुझाव दिये जा सकते हैं।

डाक निदेशक श्री यादव ने यह भी स्पष्ट किया कि व्यक्तिव, संस्थान एवं इवेंट्स (घटना या वृतांत ) से जुड़े विषयों से संबंधित सुझाव मान्य नहीं होंगे। 15 फरवरी, 2013 तक चलने वाले इस ’’डाक टिकट सुझायें’’ अभियान के तहत stamppoll@gmail.com पर सुझाव ई-मेल द्वारा भेजे जा सकते है।

निदेशक कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि इनमें से राष्ट्रीय स्तर के तीन सर्वश्रेष्ठ सुझावों को वर्ष 2014 में जारी किये जाने वाले डाक टिकटों की सूची में शामिल किया जायेगा और विभाग द्वारा जारी की जाने वाली सूचना विवरणिका में संबंधित व्यक्ति का उल्लेख भी किया जायेगा।

श्री यादव ने यह भी कहा कि किसी भी प्रकार की प्रविष्टि/सुझाव से पूर्व डाक विभाग द्वारा जारी किये जाने वाले डाक टिकटों को विभाग की वेबसाइट www.indiapost.gov.in में देख लेना उचित होगा, ताकि किसी प्रकार का दोहरापन उत्पन्न न हो। इस संबंध में डाक विभाग विभिन्न विभागों, संस्थानों, स्कूल-कालेजों को भी पत्र लिख रहा है, ताकि इसका विस्तृत प्रचार-प्रसार किया जा सके।

'My Stamp' at Kumbh Mela now : Now, get a postage stamp with your picture

Now a days, Postal Department is coming up with one after another innovative experiments with Postage Stamps. While scented stamps with fragrances of Sandal, Rose and Jasmine and Golden postage stamps in association with Haalmark were issued in the in the past years, now personalized stamps with the name of “My Stamp” are being launched by the Postal Department, wherein any one get his photo printed on postage stamps. This scheme was inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services on 25 January, 2013 in a programme organized in Central Post Office situated at Kumbh Mela.

 

While inaugurating the “My Stamp” scheme at Kumbh Mela, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services said that, to avail the facility of “My Stamp” you need to fill up a form and deposit Rs. 300/- with your photo. A sheet of My Stamp contains 12 postage stamps. You may provide your good quality photograph to Department of Post, which will be scanned to make your beautiful My Stamp. In case you don’t have your photo with you, arrangements have been made to get your photo clicked on the spot.

 

Mr. Yadav also informed that only living persons may get their My Stamps printed. While pointing out the rational features of the My Stamp scheme, he told that there possibly may not be a better gift than ‘My Stamp’. For My Stamp you don’t need to dig into your pockets as it costs only Rs. 300/- for a sheet of 12 stamps with your beautiful photo. It is up to you to, whether you want to gift it to a family member, friend or someone close. Not only this, you may choose postage stamps of your zodiac sign and get your photo printed on it. It also is an overwhelming and unique way of showing your unfathomable love for someone. Five rupees stamp with your photo can be used to send Posts anywhere across the country.

 

Mr. Yadav told that My Stamp scheme will be provided with 16 postage stamps in Kumbh Mela, which includes postage stamps on flowers such as Cineraria, Dahlia, Lily, Pency and 12 zodiac signs. While elders show a craze for My Stamp with their zodiac sign, children chose postage stamps with colorful flowers for their My Stamp. Many people cashed the opportunity and brought their whole family on postage stamps under My Stamp.

 

Telling in detail about the My Stamp scheme, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, informed that although the My Stamp scheme is in practice in a number of countries across the world, it is a new trend in India. This scheme was formally launched in India for the first time during World Philatelic Exhibition-2011 (Indipex-2011, 12-18 February, 2011) in New Delhi. It was launched in Allahabad recently during Allahabad Philatelic Exhibition (13-14 January, 2013), where it was quite famous among people. Hundreds of people got their photos printed on My Stamp just in two days of the exhibition. Considering its publicity it has now been started in Kumbh Mela.

 

On the occasion many pilgrims visiting the Kumbh Mela, officers and employees of the department including Kumbh Mela Adhikari Mr. A. K. Srivastava, Assistant Directors Mr. R. N. Yadav, M. P. Mishra, SSPOs Rahmatullah, Assistant Superintendents Vinay Yadav, R. N. Yadav and V. K. Pandey, Pankaj Maurya and others were present.

महाकुम्भ मेला, प्रयाग में आरंभ हुई 'माई स्टैम्प' सेवा : अब डाक-टिकट पर आपकी फोटो

भारतीय डाक विभाग डाक-टिकटों के क्षेत्र में नित नए और अनूठे प्रयोग कर रहा है. पिछले वर्षों में जहाँ चन्दन, गुलाब व जूही की सुगंध से सुवासित खुशबूदार डाक-टिकट और हालमार्क के साथ मिलकर सोने के डाक टिकट जारी किये गए, वहीँ अब 'माई स्टैम्प' या 'पर्सनालाईजड स्टैम्प' के साथ डाक-टिकट पर कोई व्यक्ति अपनी भी तस्वीर लगा सकता है. इस स्कीम का उद्घाटन कुम्भ मेला स्थित सेन्ट्रल पोस्ट आफिस में आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में 25 जनवरी, 2013 को इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएँ कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने किया।

 

कुम्भ मेले में 'माई स्टैम्प' स्कीम का उद्घाटन करते हुए निदेशक डाक सेवाएँ कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि माई स्टैम्प सेवा का लाभ उठाने के लिए एक फार्म भरकर उसके साथ अपनी फोटो और 300 /-जमा करने होते हैं. एक शीट में कुल 12 डाक-टिकटों के साथ फोटो लगाई जा सकती है. इसके लिए आप अपनी अच्छी तस्वीर डाक विभाग को दे सकते हैं, जो उसे स्कैन करके आपका खूबसूरत 'माई स्टांप' बना देगा. यदि कोई तत्काल भी फोटो खिंचवाना चाहे तो उसके लिए भी प्रबंध किया गया है. 'माई स्टैम्प' को ही 'पर्सनालाईजड स्टैम्प' भी कहा जाता है. श्री यादव ने कहा कि इस पर सिर्फ जीवित व्यक्तियों की ही तस्वीर लगाई जा सकती है.

 

उन्होंने इसके व्यावहारिक पहलुओं की ओर इंगित करते हुए कहा कि किसी को उपहार देने का इससे नायब तरीका शायद ही हो. इसके लिए जेब भी ज्यादा नहीं ढीली करनी पड़ेगी, मात्र 300 रूपये में 12 डाक-टिकटों के साथ आपकी खूबसूरत तस्वीर. अब आप इसे चाहें अपने परिवारजनों को दें, मित्रों को या फिर अपने किसी करीबी को. यही नहीं अपनी राशि के अनुरूप भी डाक-टिकट पसंद कर उस पर अपनी फोटो लगवा सकते हैं। आप किसी से बेशुमार प्यार करते हैं, तो इस प्यार को बेशुमार दिखाने का भी मौका है. पांच रुपए के डाक-टिकट, जिस पर आपकी तस्वीर होगी, वह देशभर में कहीं भी भेजी जा सकती है.

 

श्री यादव ने बताया कि कुम्भ में माई स्टैम्प सेवा 16 डाक-टिकटों के साथ उपलब्ध कराइ जाएगी। इनमें सिनेरेरिया, डहलिया, लिली और पैन्सी फूलों वाले डाक-टिकट के अलावा 12 राशियों के डाक टिकट शामिल हैं. जहाँ बड़े लोगों में अपनी राशि के साथ डाक-टिकट का क्रेज रहा, वहीँ बच्चों ने रंग-बिरंगे फूलों वाले डाक-टिकटों के साथ अपनी फोटो वाली डाक-टिकटें बनवाईं। कई लोगों ने इस सु-अवसर का भरपूर फायदा उठाया और अपने पूरे परिवार को ही माई स्टैम्प के तहत डाक-टिकटों पर ला दिया।

 

'माई स्टैम्प' स्कीम के बारे में विस्तार से बताते हुए निदेशक डाक सेवाएँ कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि दुनिया के कुछेक देशों में 'माई स्टाम्प' सुविधा पहले से ही लागू है, पर भारत में इसका प्रचलन नया है। वर्ष 2011 में नई दिल्ली में विश्व डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी (12-18 फरवरी 2011 ) के आयोजन के दौरान इसे औपचारिक रूप से लांच किया गया। हाल ही में आयोजित इलाहाबाद डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी में 13-14 जनवरी 2013 को इसे यहाँ जारी किया गया और लोगों ने इसे हाथों-हाथ लिया. नतीजन देखते ही देखते सैकड़ों लोगों ने डाक टिकटों के साथ अपनी तस्वीर लगाकर इसका लुत्फ़ उठाया. इसकी लोकप्रियता के मद्देनजर इसे अब कुम्भ मेला में भी आरंभ किया गया।

 

  इस अवसर पर कुम्भ मेला अधिकारी अशोक कुमार श्रीवास्तव, सहायक निदेशक आर एन यादव, वी के पाण्डेय सहित तमाम अधिकारी, कर्मचारी और जन उपस्थित रहे। '

राष्ट्रीय सार्टिंग हब, वाराणसी का उद्घाटन

राष्ट्रीय सार्टिंग हब, वाराणसी का उद्घाटन 18 जनवरी, 2013 दिन शुक्रवार को उत्तर प्रदेश परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कर्नल कमलेश चन्द्र ने किया। इलाहबाद परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री ए. के. गुप्ता, निदेशक डाक सेवाएँ इलाहबाद परिक्षेत्र श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव और श्री सचिन किशोर, निदेशक (मुख्यालय) की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में हुए इस उद्घाटन समारोह में डाक विभाग के तमाम अधिकारी-कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे। गौरतलब है कि पूरे देश में स्पीड पोस्ट आर्टिकल्स के पारेषण के लिए भारतीय डाक विभाग ने पूरे देश में कुल 89 नेशनल सार्टिंग हब स्थापित किये हैं। इसके अलावा विभिन्न नेशनल सार्टिंग हब से इंट्रा सर्किल हब भी जुड़े हुए हैं। वाराणसी सार्टिंग हब से वाराणसी के अलावा भदोही, चंदौली, गाजीपुर, जौनपुर, आजमगढ़, मऊ और बलिया के स्पीड पोस्ट आर्टिकल्स का आदान-प्रदान और पारेषण होता है। उत्तर प्रदेश में कुल 10 नेशनल सार्टिंग हब और 13 इंट्रा-सर्किल सार्टिंग हब हैं।

Two days long Allahabad Philatelic Exhibition “Allaphilex-2013” concludedon 14 January, 2013at Gandhi Art Gallery of North Central Zone Cultural Centre. On the occasion of closing ceremony of the exhibition Justice PankajMithal of Allahabad High Court released Special Cover and Cancellation on the festival of MakarSankrantiaccompanied by Postmaster General, Allahabad Region, Lt. Col. A. K. Gupta, and Director Postal Services, Allahabad Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav.

 

Addressing the closing ceremony of the exhibition Chief Guest Justice PankajMithalsaid that such exhibitions should be organized every year in order to develop Philately as a hobby. Post Master General, Allahabad Lt. Col. A. K. Gupta told that postage stamps are a source of knowledge and they may also prove helpful in enriching and strengthening our education system. Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region told that Postage Stamp is a tiny ambassador, which travels across countries and teaches them about his country’s civilization, culture and heritage.

Philatelists in Senior and Junior category showcased various types of Postage Stamps. Out of which in Senior category, first award was given to ShriUmendra Kumar Jain for his exhibition on ‘Air India first flight cover’. Whereas second and third prizes were awarded to Dr. ChetanaBansal and Smt. ManjuRastogi respectively. While in Junior Category first prize was awarded to SrijanBansal for his exhibition on ‘100 Years of Indian Cinema’, second and third prizes were given to ShriKritarthRastogi and Ayush Gupta respectively. Enthusiasm in visitors for ‘My Stamps’ scheme was spectacular. 

Shri Rahmatullah, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices,   Allahabad welcomed the guests and vote of thanks was given by Shri M. P. Mishra, Assistant Director. A number of Postal Officers/ employees and Philatelists including Shri A. P. Tiwari, Senior Superintendent Railway mail Service; Shri T. B. Singh, Senior Post Master, ShriMadhusudan Prasad Mishra, Assistant Director, R. N. Yadav, Assistant Superintendent, P. C. Tiwari, Vinay Yadav, PankajMaurya, VineetTandon were also present at the programme.

मकर संक्रांति, कुम्भ मेला, प्रयाग-2013 पर डाक विभाग द्वारा विशेष आवरण जारी

डाक विभाग द्वारा दो दिवसीय इलाहाबाद डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी’’इलाफिलेक्स-2013’’ का समापन 14 जनवरी 2013 को उत्तर मध्य क्षेत्र सांस्कृतिक केन्द्र के महात्मा गाँधी कला वीथिका में हुआ। प्रदर्शनी के समापन समारोह के अवसर पर इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय के न्यायमूर्ति पंकज मिथल, द्वारा मकर संक्रांति, कुम्भ मेला, प्रयाग-2013 पर विशेष आवरण व विरूपण का विमोचन, ले0 कर्नल पोस्टमास्टर जनरल ए. के. गुप्ता और निदेशक डाक सेवाएँ कृष्ण कुमार यादव के सहयोग से किया गया। डाक निदेशक कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इस विशेष आवरण की कीमत डाक टिकट सहित विरूपण के साथ मात्र 25 रूपये निर्धारित की गई है। प्रथम दिन ही 500 से ज्यादा विशेष आवरणों की बिक्री हो गई, वहीँ तमाम फिलेतालिस्तों ने इसकी अग्रिम बुकिंग भी कराई है।

 

प्रदर्शनी के समापन समारोह को सम्बोधित करते हुए मुख्य अतिथि न्यायमूर्ति पंकज मिथल ने कहा कि इस प्रकार की प्रदर्शनियों का आयोजन हर साल होना चाहिये ताकि अभिरुचि के रूप में फिलेटली का विकास हो सके। ले0 कर्नल पोस्टमास्टर जनरल ए. के. गुप्ता ने कहा कि डाक टिकट ज्ञार्नाजन का स्त्रोत भी है जो हमारी शिक्षा प्रणाली को और भी मजबूत बनाने में सहायक सिद्ध हो सकता है। जबकि इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवायें कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने डाक टिकटों को एक नन्हें राजदूत की संज्ञा दी, जो जिस भी देश में जाता है वहां अपनी सभ्यता, संस्कृति और विरासत से उस देश के लोगों के अवगत कराता है।

इस प्रदर्शनी में शामिल सीनियर व जूनियर वर्ग में फिलेटलिस्टों द्वारा तमाम डाक टिकटों की प्रदर्शनी लगायी गयी। जिसमें सीनियर वर्ग में प्रथम पुरस्कार श्री उमेन्द्र कुमार जैन को ’एयर एंडिया फस्र्ट फ्लाइट कवर’ पर उनकी प्रदर्शनी के लिये दिया गया। जबकि द्वितीय व तृतीय पुरस्कार क्रमशः डाॅ चेतना बंसल व श्रीमती मंजु रस्तोगी को मिला। वहीं जूनियर वर्ग में प्रथम पुरस्कार सृजन बंसल को उनके प्रदर्शनी ’भारतीय सिनेमा के सौ वर्ष’ के लिये दिया गया।जबकि द्वितीय व तृतीय पुरस्कार क्रमशः श्री कृतार्थ रस्तोगी व आयुष गुप्ता को दिया गया। इस अवसर पर डाक विभाग द्वारा उपलब्ध करायी गयी माई स्टैम्प सेवा के प्रति लोगों का उत्साह देखने लायक था। 

कार्यक्रम में अतिथियों का स्वागत प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक रहमत उल्ला एवं आभार ज्ञापन सहायक निदेशक मधुसूदन प्रसाद मिश्रा ने किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन राजेश वर्मा ने किया।इस अवसर पर सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर टी बी सिंह, सहायक निदेशक आर एन यादव, सहायक अधीक्षक पी सी तिवारी, विनय यादव, पकंज मौर्य, विनीत टन्डन सहित तमाम डाक विभाग के अधिकारी/कर्मचारीगण व फिलेटिलिस्ट इत्यादि उपस्थित थे।

Rich Tradition of Philately shown in Allahabad Philatelic Exhibition- “Allaphilex-2013”

Allahabad Philatelic Exhibition “Allaphilex-2013” inaugurated on 13 January, 2013 for two days at Gandhi Art Gallery of North Central Zone Cultural Centre. The exhibition was inaugurated by Justice Pankaj Mithal of Allahabad High Court accompanied by Padam Shri Shamshurrahman Farooqui, Postmaster General, Allahabad Region Shri A. K. Gupta, and Director Postal Services, Allahabad Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav.

In this exhibition the Philatelists of the city showcased various types of Postage Stamps. Thousands of Stamps were displayed in 59 frames,which includes a wide range of colorful collection of stamps, issued on Allahabad, 100 years of cinema in Postage Stamps, Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Ravindranath Tagore, Nehru family, Indian Freedom Struggle, Stamps issued on Mosques, Bio Diversity, Rotary, Fire Brigade, Red Cross, and also included AIDS, Maleria etc. issued to spread awareness about these diseases. It included not only stamps issued in India but also included rare postage stamps and postage stationary issued in Foreign Countries.  Other than senior Philatelists of the city, students and children also exhibited their postage stamps collection. It is worthwhile to mention here that such type of exhibition is being organized after 5 years. Earlier Postage stamp exhibition was organized in 2007.

Addressing the programme held after the inauguration of the exhibition Chief Guest Justice PankajMithal told about his hobby of collecting stamps. Shri Mitahl also said that every stamp has a story of their own and there is a need to link young generation with this story. He called Postage Stamps are “Carrier of emotions”, which carries emotions from one person to another. Justice Mithal emphasized that such exhibitions must be organized every year in order to develop Philately as a hobby. Padam Shri ShamshurrahmanFarooqui said that through these exhibitions, while on one hand glorious traditions of a vibrant country like India are portrayed and promoted on the other hand it is a medium to promote harmony and friendship among people. Post Master General, Allahabad Shri A. K. Gupta told that knowledge may also be acquired through Postage Stamps. Postage Stamps may also help in enriching and strengthening our education system.

Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region told that generally Postage Stamps may look like a small piece of paper but there value and importance is much more. In fact Postage Stamp is a tiny ambassador, which travels across countries and teaches them about his country’s civilization, culture and heritage. It is anicon of a country’s people, their belief and philosophy, history, culture, heritage, ambitions and expectations. It is filled with enchanting vitality. Director Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav told an interesting story about a European woman of 19^th century who had an idea to decorate her dressing room with Postage Stamps, she collected sixteen thousand stamps from her acquaintances and for remaining she released an advertisement in “Times of London” and requested the readers to send used postage stamps to complete her collection. Thereafter collecting of stamps gained popularity as a hobby in the whole world in due course of time.

The much awaited “My Stamps” scheme of the Postal Department was also launched in this programme. Many people including Justice PankajMithal got there photos printed on Postage Stamps. There was a lot of enthusiasm among youngsters for this scheme. Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav informed that due to its popularity this scheme will also be launched in KumbhMela for a few days. A Philatelic Workshop and Design a stamp competition was also organized for children. While Children enjoyed Philatelic Exhibition, Philatelic Deposit Accounts were also opened.

डाक विभाग द्वारा दो दिवसीय ’’इलाहाबाद डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी’’ इलाफिलेक्स-2013 का उद्घाटन 13 जनवरी 2013 को उत्तर मध्य क्षेत्र सांस्कृतिक केन्द्र के महात्मा गाँधी कला वीथिका में किया गया। प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन द्वीप प्रज्वलित कर और फीता काटकर, इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय के न्यायमूर्ति पंकज मिथल द्वारा पद्मश्री शम्शुर्रह्मान फारूकी, निदेशक डाक सेवाएँ कृष्ण कुमार यादव और पोस्टमास्टर जनरल ए. के. गुप्ता के संग किया गया।

 

इस प्रदर्शनी में शहर के फिलेटलिस्टों द्वारा तमाम डाक टिकटों की प्रदर्शनी लगायी गयी। कुल 59 फ्रेमों में हजारों की संख्या में डाक-टिकट प्रदर्शित किए गये। इनमें इलाहाबाद से संबंधित विषयों पर जारी डाक-टिकट, डाक-टिकटों के माध्यम से सिनेमा के 100 वर्ष, राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा गाँधी, रविंद्रनाथ टैगोर, नेहरु परिवार पर जारी डाक टिकट, भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम पर जारी डाक टिकट, मस्जिदों पर जारी डाक-टिकट से लेकर से लेकर जैव विविधता, रोटरी, अग्निशमन, रेड क्रास और एड्स, मलेरिया इत्यादि के विरूद्ध जागरूक करते तमाम रंग-बिरंगे डाक-टिकट प्रदर्शित किये गये। इनमें सिर्फ भारत ही नहीं बल्कि विदेशों द्वारा जारी दुर्लभ डाक-टिकट व डाक-स्टेशनरी भी शामिल थे। प्रदर्शनी में वरिष्ठ फिलेटलिस्टों के अलावा तमाम बच्चों ने भी अपने डाक-टिकटों का प्रदर्शन किया। गौरतलब है कि इलाहाबाद में 5 वर्ष बाद इस तरह की प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इससे पूर्व वर्ष 2007 में डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी आयोजित हुयी थी।

 

प्रदर्शनी के उद्घाटन पश्चात् आयोजित कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्य अतिथि न्यायमूर्ति पंकज मिथल ने अपने डाक-टिकट संग्रह के शौक के बारे में बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि हर डाक टिकट की अपनी एक कहानी है और इस कहानी को वर्तमान पीढ़ी के साथ जोड़ने की जरुरत है। उन्होंने डाक टिकटों को संवेदना का संवाहक बताया, जो पत्र के माध्यम से भावनाओं को एक व्यक्ति से दूसरे व्यक्ति तक पहुंचाते हैं। न्यायमूर्ति मिथल ने इस प्रकार की प्रदर्शनियों को हर साल करने पर जोर दिया, ताकि अभिरुचि के रूप में फिलेटली का विकास हो सके। पद्मश्री शम्शुर्रह्मान फारूकी ने कहा कि इन प्रदर्शनियों के द्वारा जहाँ अनेकों समृद्ध संस्कृतियों वाले भारत राष्ट्र की गौरवशाली परम्परा को डाक टिकटों के द्वारा चित्रित करके विभिन्न सामाजिक, सांस्कृतिक और ऐतिहासिक सन्देशों को प्रसारित किया जाता है, वहीं दूसरी तरफ यह विभिन्न लोगों के मध्य सद्भावना एवम् मित्रता में उत्साहजनक वृद्धि का परिचायक है। पोस्टमास्टर जनरल ए. के. गुप्ता ने कहा कि डाक टिकटों के द्वारा ज्ञान भी अर्जित किया जा सकता है। यह हमारी शिक्षा प्रणाली को और भी मजबूत बना सकते हैं।

 

इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवायें कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि सामान्यतः डाक टिकट एक छोटा सा कागज का टुकड़ा दिखता है, पर इसका महत्व और कीमत दोनों ही इससे काफी ज्यादा है । डाक टिकट वास्तव में एक नन्हा राजदूत है, जो विभिन्न देशों का भ्रमण करता है एवम् उन्हें अपनी सभ्यता, संस्कृति और विरासत से अवगत कराता है। यह किसी भी राष्ट्र के लोगों, उनकी आस्था व दर्शन, ऐतिहासिकता, संस्कृति, विरासत एवं उनकी आकांक्षाओं व आशाओं का प्रतीक है। यह मन को मोह लेने वाली जीवन शक्ति से भरपूर है। निदेशक कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने डाक-टिकटों के संग्रह की दिलचस्प कहानी के बारे में बताया कि उन्नीसवीं शताब्दी के मध्य में यूरोप में एक अंग्रेज महिला को अपने श्रृंगार-कक्ष की दीवारों को डाक टिकटों से सजाने की सूझी और इस हेतु उसने सोलह हजार डाक-टिकट परिचितों से एकत्र किए और शेष हेतु सन् 1841 में ‘टाइम्स आफ लंदन’ समाचार पत्र में विज्ञापन देकर पाठकों से इस्तेमाल किए जा चुके डाक टिकटों को भेजने की प्रार्थना की। इसके बाद धीमे-धीमे पूरे विश्व में डाक-टिकटों का संग्रह एक शौक के रूप में परवान चढ़ता गया।

 

इस अवसर पर डाक विभाग की बहुप्रतीक्षित माई स्टैम्प सेवा का भी शुभांरभ किया गया। न्यायमूर्ति पंकज मिथल सहित तमाम लोगों ने इसके तहत अपनी फोटो डाक टिकटों पर अंकित करायी। युवाओं में इसके तहत काफी उत्साह देखा गया। निदेशक डाक सेवायें कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इसकी लोकप्रियता के चलते माई स्टैम्प सेवा को कुंभ में भी कुछेक दिनों के लिए आरंभ किया जायेगा। इस अवसर पर बच्चों हेतु फिलेटलिक वर्कशाप व डिजाइन ए स्टैम्प प्रतियोगिता का भी आयोजन किया गया। बच्चों ने जहाँ डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी का आनंद लिया, वहीं फिलेटलिक डिपाजिट एकाउण्ट भी खोले गये।

 

कार्यक्रम में अतिथियों का स्वागत प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक रहमतुल्लाह एवं आभार ज्ञापन सहायक निदेशक आर एन यादव ने किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन राजेश वर्मा ने किया। इस अवसर पर प्रवर रेलवे डाक अधीक्षक श्री ए पी तिवारी, सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर टी बी सिंह, सहायक निदेशक मधुसूदन प्रसाद मिश्र, सहायक अधीक्षक आर एन यादव, पी सी तिवारी, विनय यादव सहित तमाम डाक विभाग के अधिकारी, फिलेटिलिस्ट इत्यादि उपस्थित थे।

'My Stamp' launches in Allahabad now

ALLAHABAD: On the occasion of Maha Kumbh, Postal department gives you an opportunity to get your picture printed on a postage stamp along with your zodiac sign, said director, Postal Services, Allahabad region Krishna Kumar Yadav.

 

 He added that during the philatelic exhibition to be held on January 13 and 14 this year at Art gallery of North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC), 'My Stamp' facility will be launched in Allahabad for the first time. Any living person may get photo printed on postage stamps along with one's zodiac sign. Other than Zodiac signs there will be option to get photos printed with various flowers for a payment of Rs 300 for a set of 12 stamps. The stamps may even be used for sending letters.

 

Mr. Yadav said the scheme was started in Uttar Pradesh in Lucknow and Agra but now it comes to Allahabad. 'My Stamp' scheme is popular among youngsters and officers of the postal department are hopeful it would be successful in Allahabad too.

Allaphilex-2013 will showcase the rich tradition of Postage Stamps in Allahabad

With the purpose to create attraction for Postage Stamps and create awareness about India’s culture, heritage and social values through postage stamps among the public, Deptt. Of Posts will organize a two days “Allahabad Philatelic Exhibition” Allaphilex-2013 on 13th and 14^th January, 2013 in Mahatma Gandhi Art Gallery of North Central Zone Cultural Centre. Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region told that in this exhibition philatelists of the city will showcase a variety of Philatelic stamps. Thousands of stamps will be displayed in total 30 frames. Further Mr. Yadav added that, it will include a wide range of colorful collection of stamps like stamps issued on Allahabad, Centenary of Indian Cinema through Postage Stamps, and stamps issued to spread awareness about problems like AIDS, Maleria etc. Other than senior Philatelists of the city, students and children will also put on exhibit of their postage stamps collection.

 According to Director Mr. K. K. Yadav, such exhibition is going to be organized after 5 years. Earlier Postage stamp exhibition was organized in 2007. During the exhibition Quiz Competition and Stamp design competitions will also be organized for school children. A Philatelic Workshop will also be organized for persons having interest in Philately.

      Director Mr. K. K. Yadav told that Justice Pankaj Mithal of Allahabad High Court will inaugurate the Philatelic Exhibition on 13^th January and closure will be done on 14^th January by Mr. Kamlesh Chandra, Chief Post Master General, U. P. Circle. On 14^th January itself, on the first day of Royal Bath, MakarSankranti, issue of special cover and cancellation will also be done by Mr. Kamlesh Chandra, Chief Post Master General, U. P. Circle.

प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन इलाहाबाद उच्च न्यायालय के न्यायमूर्ति पंकज मिथल द्वारा 13 जनवरी को व समापन 14 जनवरी को उ.प्र. परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल, कर्नल कमलेश चन्द्र द्वारा किया जाएगा। 14 जनवरी को ही कुंभ के प्रथम दिन शाही स्नान पर्व, मकर संक्राति पर विशेष आवरण व विरूपण का भी विमोचन चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कर्नल कमलेश चन्द्र द्वारा किया जाएगा।

उ.प्र. विधानमंडल के 125 साल पूरे होने पर राष्ट्रपति ने जारी किया डाक-टिकट

उ.प्र.विधानमंडल के 125 साल पूरे होने के अवसर पर भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा विशेष स्मारक डाक टिकट जारी किया गया। इसे लखनऊ में आयोजित 3 दिवसीय उत्तरशती रजत जयंती समारोह के आखिरी दिन 8 फरवरी, 2012 दिन मंगलवार को राष्ट्रपति श्री प्रणब मुखर्जी ने एक भव्य समारोह में जारी किया. गौरतलब है कि भारतीय परिषद अधिनियम 1861 के तहत 8 जनवरी 1887 को यूपी में विधानमंडल का गठन किया गया था. उस समय यूपी को संयुक्त प्रांत के नाम से जाना जाता था. इस मौके पर राज्यपाल श्री बीएल जोशी, मुख्यमंत्री श्री अखिलेश यादव, केंद्रीय संचार मंत्री श्री कपिल सिब्बल, केंद्रीय कोयला मंत्री श्री श्रीप्रकाश जायसवाल, उत्तर प्रदेश के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री श्री मुलायम सिंह यादव, श्री राजनाथ सिंह और श्री एनडी तिवारी सहित और कई जानी-मानी हस्तियां मौजूद थीं.

Department of Post pushes the envelope to serve pilgrims

ALLAHABAD: Department of Post has set up 10 post offices for Maha Kumbh 2013 to provide essential postal services to pilgrims in the mela area. All the post offices started functioning from January 1.

On the occasion, Krishna Kumar Yadav director, postal services, Allahabad flagged off formal functioning of post offices by booking a Speed Post article on speed net at the Central Kumbh Mela Post Office on Parade ground.

Yadav said the post offices will provide services to seers, pilgrims in the mela area. A gazetted officer of Group 'B' level has been nominated mela adhikari (Post) to ensure smooth services.

This year, 10 post offices and four mobile post offices have been established in 14 sectors.

Central Post Office has been established in the Parade area while others at Sangam North, Sangam South, Sangam Central, Gangadip, Fort road, Parade West, Arail, Jhusi and Jhusi South.

The post offices will provide service of booking of speed post, registered post, money order, parcel, philately, PLI and RPLI etc. Besides providing services to the pilgrims, it will also be a source of revenue for the department.

In the Kumbh Mela postal articles including parcel, money orders, letters, etc will be delivered through the Central Post Office while booking and delivery of speed post and registered post will be through Speed Net/R Net.

14 letters boxes have been installed in different prominent areas of the mela territory to collect mails posted by pilgrims.

Mail motor service has been provided to ensure swift transmission of mails between Allahabad RMS and Kutchery head post office.

Around 52 officials including supervisors and administrative officers have been deployed in the mela area for postal services. Mobile post offices on boats at the Sangam will facilitate pilgrims to shoot letters while taking a holy dip and pilgrims can even avail of water proof envelopes.

Department of Posts will register these letters by using special stamps and arrange to dispatch their destination the same day.

Yadav said department of posts was going to release six special covers with cancellation on different occasions i.e. Makar Sankaranti (January 14), Paush Purnima (January 27) Mauni Amavasya (February 10), Basant Panchmi (February 15), Magh Purnima (February 25) and Mahashivratri (March 10).

The special covers will depict the legend of Kumbh and important bathing occasions. Although the special cover has been released on the occasion previously too, it is the first time the department is going to release separate special covers. Crores of national and international devotees would be able to take home these envelopes as a souvenir.

During the inauguration, Ashok Srivastava, Kumbh Mela Adhikari (Post), Rahmatullah, SSPOs Allahabad, AP Tiwari, SSRM Allahabad, Madhusudan Mishra, assistant director and RN Yadav assistant director were also present.

कुम्भ मेले में डाक निदेशक कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने किया केंद्रीय डाक घर का उद्घाटन

 कुंभ मेले में डाक सेवाओं के लिये नव वर्ष के प्रथम दिन से डाकघर कार्य करना आरंभ हो गये। परेड स्थित सेन्ट्रल कुंभ मेला डाकघर एवं कुंभ मेला अधिकारी के कार्यालय का फीता काटकर कर उद्घाटन इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने 1 जनवरी 2013 को किया। इस अवसर पर निदेशक ने स्पीड पोस्ट आर्टिकिल की बुकिंग कर औपचारिक रूप से कुंभ मेला में डाक सेवाओं की शुरूआत की। प्रथम दिन ही उद्घाटन पश्चात कुंभ मेले में प्रवास कर रहे साधु-संतों एवं अपने परिजनों से दूर रह रहे तमाम लोगों ने डाक द्वारा अपने लोगों को नव वर्ष के ग्रीटिंग कार्ड एवं पत्र भेजे। इस दौरान 42 से ज्यादा स्पीड पोस्ट एवं लगभग 150 साधारण डाक की बुकिंग हुयी। सभी डाकघरों के पोस्टमास्टर अपने-अपने डाकघरों के समुचित संचालन हेतु आवश्यक सामग्री लेकर रवाना हुये।

उद्घाटन पश्चात निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डाक विभाग ने इस बार वर्ष 2013 के कुम्भ में सुदूर क्षेत्रों से आने वाले श्रद्धालु तीर्थ यात्रियों और साधु-संतों के लिए डाक सुविधा उपलब्ध कराने के लिए तमाम तैयारियाँ की हैं। कुंभ मेले में डाक विभाग द्वारा ग्रुप बी स्तर का राजपत्रित कुंभ मेला अधिकारी नियुक्त किया गया है और यह जिम्मेदारी वाराणसी (पश्चिमी) मंडल के डाक अधीक्षक श्री अशोक कुमार श्रीवास्तव को दी गयी है। इस वर्ष कुंभ मेला क्षेत्र में 14 सेक्टरों को कवर करने हेतु 10 डाकघर एवं आवश्यकतानुसार 4 मोबाइल डाकघर खोले जा रहे हैं । केन्द्रीय डाकघर की स्थापना परेड में की गयी है, वहीं अन्य डाकघर संगम उत्तरी, संगम दक्षिणी, संगम सेन्ट्रल, गंगाद्वीप, फोर्ट रोड, परेड पश्चिम, अरैल, झूँसी, झूँसी दक्षिणी में खुले हैे। इन डाकघरों में सामान्य डाक सेवाएं, रजिस्ट्री, स्पीड पोस्ट, मनीआर्डर, पार्सल, फिलेटली, डाक जीवन बीमा और ग्रामीण डाक जीवन बीमा इत्यादि सुविधाएं मुहैय्या कराई जाएंगी। मेले में आने वाले करोड़ों स्नानार्थियों और साधुसंतों के मनीआर्डर और पार्सल डाक विभाग के लिए राजस्व प्राप्ति का बड़ा साधन होंगे। एक तरफ तो इन सुविधाओं के द्वारा मेले में मौजूद लोग अपना पैसा और सामान मँगा सकेंगे, तो दूसरी तरफ डाक विभाग भी कुंभ में अपने लिए अच्छा राजस्व संग्रह कर सकेगा। गौरतलब है कि इस कुंभ मेले में 10 करोड़ से ज्यादा तीर्थ यात्रियों के आने की सम्भावना है।

कुंभ मेले में आने वाले श्रद्धालुओं एवं साधु-संतों के डाक, पार्सल, मनीआर्डर इत्यादि का वितरण केन्द्रीय रूप में सेन्ट्रल कुंभ मेला डाकघर द्वारा किया जायेगा, जिसका पिनकोड 211020 है। निदेशक श्री यादव ने बताया कि आने-जाने वाली डाक को स्पीडनेट व आरनेट से भी जोड़ा जा रहा है ताकि लोगों को उनके निस्तारण की स्थिति पता लग सके। यही नहीं लोगों की सुविधा हेतु विभिन्न सेक्टरों में 14 लेटर बाक्स भी लगाये जा रहे हैं। डाक के आवागमन हेतु मेल मोटर सेवा भी आरंभ की गयी है, ताकि डाक का त्वरित निस्तारण हो सके। डाक विभाग ने फिलहाल कुम्भ क्षेत्र में डाकघरों के संचालन हेतु 52 अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को लगाया है, इसके अलावा आवश्यकतानुसार अन्य अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों की सेवायें भी ली जायेंगीं।

इस कुंभ मेले में गंगा-यमुना एवं अदृश्य सरस्वती के संगम में नाव पर चल रहे सचल डाकघर आकर्षण के केंन्द्र बिंदु होंगें । श्री यादव ने बताया कि गंगा, यमुना व सरस्वती की मध्य जलधारा में सचल इन डाकघरों का उद्देश्य नाव से आने-जाने वाले स्नानार्थियों को, जल में भी, स्नान करते समय डाकीय सुविधा प्रदान करना है। यही नहीं, इन सचल डाकघर नौकाओं में पत्र पेटिकायें भी लगायी जायेंगीं, जिसमें स्नान करते समय भी पत्र डाला जा सके। यदि कोई आस्थावान व्यक्ति चाहे तो वाटरप्रूफ लिफाफे के साथ डुबकी लगाकर उसे बहती जलधारा में नाव पर स्थित लेटर बाक्स में पोस्ट कर सकता है। डाक विभाग इन लिफाफों पर उस दिन की तारीख के साथ एक विशेष मुहर लगाकर गन्तव्य के लिए रवाना करेगा। वाकई यह एक अद्भुत एवं यादगार धरोहर होगी।

निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि डाक विभाग इस कुंभ मेले को ऐतिहासिक बनाने के लिए छः प्रमुख स्नानों पर विशेष विरूपण सहित छः विशेष आवरण (डाक लिफाफा) जारी करेगा। इन्हें प्रमुख स्नानों-मकर संक्राति (14 जनवरी 2013), पौष पूर्णिमा (27 जनवरी, 2013), मौनी अमवस्या (10 फरवरी, 2013), वसंत पंचमी (15 फरवरी, 2013), माघ पूर्णिमा (25 फरवरी, 2013), महाशिवरात्रि (10 मार्च, 2013) पर जारी किया जायेगा। इन विशेष आवरण पर डिजाइन के रूप में कुम्भ की विरासत एवं प्रमुख स्नान पर्वों की आध्यामिकता के दर्शन होंगे। इन लिफाफों को जारी किये जाने वाले दिन विशेष विरूपण (स्टैम्प कैंसिलेशन) से अंकित किया जायेगा एवं हर विशेष विरूपण पर प्रमुख स्नान की तिथि भी अंकित जाएंगी। इससे पूर्व भी विभिन्न कुंभ मेलों के दौरान विशेष आवरण जारी हुये है, लेकिन यह पहली बार होगा कि जब हर प्रमुख स्नान पर एक विशेष आवरण जारी किया जायेगा। ऐसे में महाकुंभ मेले में देश-विदेश से आने वाले करोड़ों श्रद्धालु एवं पर्यटक इन लिफाफों को प्रयाग महाकुंभ की यादगार व धरोहर के रूप में अपने साथ ले जा सकेंगे।

इस दौरान कुंभ मेला अधिकारी (डाक) श्री अशोक कुमार श्रीवास्तव के अलावा इलाहाबाद मंडल के प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक श्री रहमतउल्लाह, प्रवर रेल डाक अधीक्षक श्री ए पी तिवारी, सहायक निदेशक श्री मधुसूदन मिश्रा, श्री आर एन यादव सहित डाक विभाग के तमाम अधिकारी व कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।
