With the purpose to create awareness among the Marketing Executives about new products, changing work-scenario and to enhance their understanding about Customer-care a one-day workshop was organised on 19th October, 2013 at Civil lines Allahabad GPO for Allahabad Region. The work shop was inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region. During workshop Postal Officials were up dated about the latest and upcoming changes and Premium & Financial products of Dept. of Posts through Power Point Presentation.
While addressing the programme as Chief Guest Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region said that India Post proposes to continue its efforts to harness its traditional strengths to modern management practices and appropriate technologies to become more responsive to public needs and expectation, and to make the services more customer friendly, while identifying new opportunities new opportunities to provide value added services and greater access to postal services, in a cost effective manner.
Addressing Marketing Executives, Director Postal Services Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that their activities in field create an image of department, so they have to be more courteous and responsive for customer. In this era of competition we just cannot sit idle to earn business instead of that we have to approach customers, we have to interact with them about our services and to make them aware of our different services, by this way only we can reach to our goal.
Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices, Allahabad Division Mr. Rahmatullah said that proper monitoring is being done on all the premium services and by this we are trying to facilitate our customers to the maximum extent.
On the occasion Mr. T B Singh, Assistant Director (Business Development), Mr. Vinay Yadav, ASP (South), Mr. Ashish Srivastva, ASP (BD), Mr. Deepak Kumar, Inspector Post (Project Arrow) gave their presentations on power point, for different products and aspects.
