Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region was conferred with the "Prayag Gaurav" for his administrative achievements. Mr. Yadav got this honor in a programme organized by the "Prayag Gaurav Samman Evam Sanskritik Aayojan Jan Seva Samiti" in the auditorium of Vigyan Parishad Prayag, Allahabad on 13th December 2014. Professor Girish Chandra Tripathi, Chancellor of Banaras Hindu University honoured Mr. Yadav in the gracious presence of Justice S R Singh, Mr. Ashok Mehta, Additional Solicitor and Mayor of Allahabad Mrs. Abhilasha Gupta. The programme was chaired by the Justice Sudhir Narayan, Member of Kaveri Tribunal.
Nazim Ansari, Founder President of the organizing committee, told that many dignitaries in Allahabad are working in different fields and this award is a attempt to provide a new identity to their achievements. On the occasion 12 celebrities from different fields were awarded with 'Prayag Gaurav' honour. In addition to Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region, Professor Ali Ahmad Fatmi for Literature, Professor Badri Narayan and Mr. Sanjay Srivastava in the filed of education, Dr. S.P Singh and Dr. S. P. Narayan in the field of Medical, Mr. Anil Kumar Gupta in the field of Social Service, Mr. Atul Yaduvanshi in the field of acting, Mr. Mahesh Chandra Chaturvedi in the field of Law & Justice, Mr. Dinesh Singh in the field of journalism, Mr. Omkar Nath Khanna and Archana Tulsiyani in the field of business were also awarded with the 'Prayag Gaurav' honour on this occasion.
It is important to add here that the choice of the celebrities to be honoured was made by a committee headed by Justice Sakha Ram Singh. On this occasion Mr. Rajeev Anand, Sardar Ajeet Singh, Rajendra Tiwari (Dukaanji), Dr. A Raja and several other dignitaries were present.
