After inauguration of rejuvenated and transformed Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, devotees keep thronging. Devotees consider themselves blessed after receiving the prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath. On Mahashivratri, Shiva devotees from all over the country have a desire to pay visit here and get the Prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath. Now, devotees will be able to have the offerings of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple by Speed Post through Postal Department at their doorstep. This information was given by the Postmaster General of Varanasi Region Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav.
Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that under an agreement between the Department of Posts and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, Prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in new format is being made available to the people through Speed Post Service. To avail this service, an e-money order of ₹ 251 has to be remit in the favor of Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Varanasi (East) Division-221001 from the nearest post office. Prasad will be sent to the addressee immediately as soon as the e-money order is received. The prasad will be in the temper proof envelope with proper packaging. More than 6500 devotees have availed this facility in various parts of India, said Postmaster General Mr. Yadav.
Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that the Prasad will include the image of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga, Mahāmrityunjaya Yantra, Shri Shiva Chalisa, 108 beads of Rudraksha's garland, Bel Patra, coin having Bhole Baba's image inscribed with Mata Annapurna, Bhabhuti, Raksha Sutra, Rudraksha bead, Dry Fruits and Mishri packet.
Senior Superintendent Post Offices, Varanasi East Division Mr. Rajan told that Prasad can also be obtained from the counter of Varanasi City Post Office for just ₹ 201 during working hours. For remitting eMO it will be mandatory to mention complete address, pin code and mobile number, so that Speed Post booking details may be sent through SMS to the concern devotees.
