Get insurance of ₹10 Lakhs in just ₹299 from Post Offices through India Post Payments Bank

India Post Payments Bank of the Department of Posts has come up with a special Group Accidental Guard Insurance for those who are unable to get insurance at a high premium, in which the beneficiary will be insured for Rs. 10 lakh with a premium of just Rs. 299 and Rs. 399 in a year. After the end of one year, this insurance will have to be renewed for the next year. To avail insurance, it is mandatory that beneficiary must have a saving account in India Post Payments Bank. The above information was given by Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of Varanasi Region.

Postmaster General, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that under an agreement signed between India Post Payments Bank and Tata AIG, people in the age group of 18 to 65 years will get this group accident insurance cover. Under this, both types of insurance will provide a cover of Rs. 10 lakh in case of accidental death, permanent or partial total disability, amputation or paralyze. Along with this, IPD expenses of up to Rs. 60,000 for treatment during hospitalization due to accident and up to Rs. 30,000 OPD claim will be available. In addition to all the aforementioned benefits, in insurance of premium Rs. 399, expenses of up to one lakh for the education of two children, one thousand daily expenses in the hospital for ten days, transport expenses up to Rs. 25,000 for the family living in any other city and in case of death, the cost of funeral will be given up to Rs. 5,000, said Mr. Yadav.

Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices, Varanasi Dn. Shri Rajan told that to avail this insurance facility, people can approach to their nearest Post Office.

डाक विभाग के इण्डिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक में मात्र ₹299 में होगा 10 लाख का दुर्घटना बीमा - पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कृष्ण कुमार यादव

महंगे प्रीमियम पर बीमा करवाने में असमर्थ लोगों के लिए डाक विभाग का इण्डिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक एक विशेष सामूहिक दुर्घटना सुरक्षा बीमा लेकर आया है, जिसमें वर्ष में महज 299 और 399 रुपए के प्रीमियम के साथ लाभार्थी का 10 लाख रुपए का बीमा होगा। एक साल खत्म होने के बाद अगले साल यह बीमा रिन्यू करवाना होगा। इसके लिए इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक में लाभार्थी का खाता होना अनिवार्य है। उक्त जानकारी वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने दी।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इण्डिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक और टाटा ए.आई.जी के मध्य हुए एक एग्रीमेंट के तहत 18 से 65 वर्ष आयु  के लोगों को यह सामूहिक दुर्घटना बीमा सुरक्षा मिलेगी। इसके तहत, दोनों प्रकार के बीमा कवर में दुर्घटना से मृत्यु, स्थाई या आंशिक पूर्ण अपंगता, अंग विच्छेद या पैरालाइज्ड होने पर 10 लाख रुपए का कवर मिलेगा। साथ ही साथ इस बीमा में दुर्घटना से हॉस्पिटल में भर्ती रहने के दौरान इलाज हेतु  60,000 रुपए तक का आई.पी.डी खर्च और ओ.पी.डी में 30,000 रुपए तक का क्लेम मिलेगा। वहीं, 399 रुपए के प्रीमियम बीमा में उपरोक्त सभी लाभों के अलावा दो बच्चों की पढ़ाई के लिए एक लाख तक का खर्च, दस दिन अस्पताल में रोजाना का एक हजार खर्च, किसी अन्य शहर में रह रहे परिवार हेतु ट्रांसपोर्ट का 25,000 रूपए तक का खर्च और मृत्यु होने पर अंतिम संस्कार के लिए 5,000 तक का खर्च मिलेगा।

वाराणसी पूर्वी मंडल के प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक राजन राव ने बताया कि इस सामूहिक दुर्घटना बीमा सुविधा में पंजीकरण के लिए लोग अपने नजदीकी डाकघर में संपर्क कर सकते हैं।

Varanasi Region tops in Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Yojana in Uttar Pradesh

 'Mahila Samman Savings Certificate' has received a good response from women working in various fields. This scheme was launched in Amrit Kaal budget and Started since 1st April, 2023. In Uttar Pradesh 29,000 women have invested more than Rs. 3 billion in this scheme in three months. In whole Uttar Pradesh maximum number of women investor is from Varanasi Region existed in constituency of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Postmaster General of Varanasi Region Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav told that 7,065 women have invested more than Rs. 40 crore in 'Mahila Samman Bachat Patra' in Varanasi Region.

While distributing Mahila Samman Savings Certificate to women at Cantt Head Post Office, Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that it is an important step towards women empowerment and financial inclusion. This two-year scheme offers an attractive and fixed interest rate of 7.5 per cent compounded quarterly with a maximum limit of Rs 2 lakhs with flexible investment and partial withdrawal options. The scheme is valid for a period of two years till March 31, 2025. A minimum investment of Rs. 1,000/- and a maximum of Rs. 2 lakh can be made into this. Mr. Yadav further added that, This account will be of Single type account and multiple accounts can be opened at an interval of 3-3 months, but the deposit in all the accounts together will not exceed Rs.2 lakhs. Compound interest at the rate of 7.5% is payable on the amount deposited in the account, which will be credited to the account every quarter. Account holders can get payment up to a maximum of 40% of the deposit amount after 1 year and after 6 months, if required, premature payment can also be received, on which interest will be given at the rate of 5.5%, added Mr. Yadav.

This year's Sawan is very special because of Adhimas. There is a special magnificence of worshiping Lord Shiva in the holy month of Sawan. Everyone has a wish that he can have a glimpse of the Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and get his blessings. After the inauguration of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the number of devotees in Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple has significantly increased. Even then some devotees are unable to visit Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple even after desiring to. Now such devotees need not to be disappointed. Through the Speed Post service of the Department of Posts, people can get the offerings (Prasadam) of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple at their door steps sitting at home in any corner of the country. In the month of Sawan, India Post has made special arrangements for this. The above information was given by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of Varanasi Region.

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that under an agreement signed between the Department of Posts and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, devotees residing in any corner of the country can order Prasad from Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple through Speed Post. To avail this service, an e-Money order of ₹ 251 has to be remitted from the nearest Post Office in the name of Senior Superintendent of Post Office, Varanasi (East) Division-221001. As soon as the e-Money order is received, the Prasaad will be sent through Speed Post to the addressee  immediately. The packaged Prasad will be in a tamper proof envelope, on which a replica of the postage stamp issued on the Ghat of Varanasi is inscribed. It cannot be tampered in any way. Apart from this, it can also be obtained from the Varanasi City Post Office counter for just ₹ 201, added Mr. Yadav.

Contents of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Prasad-

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav told that the Prasaad includes image of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga, Mahamrityunjay Yantra, Shri Shiv Chalisa, 108 beads of Rudraksh garland, coin having Bhole Baba’s image inscribed with Mata Annapurna, Bhabhuti, Raksha Sutra , Rudraksh bead, dry fruits, mishri packet etc. Since the Prasad is dry, it may be used for a long time.

Senior Superintendent Post Office, Varanasi East Division Mr. Rajan said that the Postal Department has also made arrangements that the devotees will get the details of Speed Post on mobile number through SMS. For this, it will be mandatory for them to write their full address, Pin code and mobile number in the e-Money order.

सावन में शिव आराधना की विशेष महिमा है। इस बार का सावन अधिमास के कारण बेहद खास है। हर किसी की इच्छा होती है कि वह भगवान शिव के ज्योतिर्लिङ्ग स्वरूप का दर्शन और आशीर्वाद स्वरुप प्रसाद पा सके। प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी द्वारा श्री काशी विश्वनाथ कॉरिडोर के उद्घाटन बाद श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर में श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या में काफी वृद्धि हुई है। परन्तु कुछ श्रद्धालु चाहकर भी श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का दर्शन नहीं कर पाते। अब ऐसे श्रद्धालुओं को निराश होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। डाक विभाग की स्पीड पोस्ट सेवा के माध्यम से लोग देश के किसी भी कोने में घर बैठे श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का प्रसाद प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। सावन माह में डाक विभाग ने इसके लिए विशेष प्रबंध किये हैं। उक्त जानकारी वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने दी।

 पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि डाक विभाग और श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर ट्रस्ट के बीच हुये एक एग्रीमेण्ट के तहत देश के किसी भी कोने में रह रहे श्रद्धालु स्पीड पोस्ट से श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का प्रसाद मँगा सकते हैं। इसके तहत अपने नजदीकी डाकघर से मात्र ₹ 251 रूपये का इलेक्ट्रानिक मनीआर्डर प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर, वाराणसी (पूर्वी) मंडल-221001 के नाम भेजना होगा। ई-मनीऑर्डर प्राप्त होते ही डाक विभाग द्वारा तत्काल दिए गए पते पर स्पीड पोस्ट द्वारा प्रसाद भेज दिया जाएगा। डिब्बा बंद प्रसाद टेंपर प्रूफ इनवेलप में होगा, जिसके ऊपर वाराणसी के घाट पर जारी डाक टिकट की प्रतिकृति भी अंकित होगी। इससे किसी भी तरह की छेड़छाड़ नहीं की जा सकती है। इसके अलावा इसे मात्र ₹ 201 में वाराणसी सिटी डाकघर के काउंटर से भी प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

श्री काशी विश्वनाथ प्रसाद में शामिल वस्तुएं-

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि प्रसाद में श्री काशी विश्वनाथ ज्योतिर्लिङ्ग की छवि, महामृत्युंजय यंत्र, श्री शिव चालीसा, 108 दाने की रुद्राक्ष की माला, बेलपत्र, माता अन्नपूर्णा से भिक्षाटन करते भोले बाबा की छवि अंकित सिक्का, भभूति, रक्षा सूत्र, रुद्राक्ष मनका, मेवा, मिश्री का पैकेट इत्यादि शामिल हैं। सूखा होने के कारण यह प्रसाद लम्बे समय तक उपयोग में बना रहता है।

प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर, वाराणसी पूर्वी मंडल श्री राजन ने बताया कि, डाक विभाग ने इस बात के भी प्रबंध किए हैं कि, श्रद्धालुओं को मोबाइल नंबर पर स्पीड पोस्ट का विवरण एस.एम.एस के माध्यम से मिलेगा। इसके लिए उन्हें  ई-मनीऑर्डर में अपना पूरा पता, पिन कोड और मोबाइल नंबर लिखना अनिवार्य होगा।

National Postal Workers Day (1st July): Many changes taking place in the role of Postal workers across the world

Many changes have taken place in postal services all over the world. In this era of physical mail to digital mail, there are many new dimensions associated with diversity in postal services. Postal Workers have emerged as an important bridge between the Governments and the common people in providing various services. In such a situation, the practice of expressing gratitude to postal workers on the day of 'National Postal Workers Day' has emerged all over the world on 1st July. Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, Varanasi Region told that the concept of 'National Postal Worker Day' came from USA, where this special day was started in the year 1997 in the city of Seattle, Washington State, in honor of the Postal Workers. Gradually it started being celebrated in other countries including India. This day is celebrated in honor of the service rendered by Postal Workers across the world.

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that there have been many changes in the role of Postal Workers. Along with 'Dakia Dak Laya', 'Dakia Bank Laya' is now equally important. Along with letters and parcels, the Postmen deliver important things related to people's lives in the modern era at door step. Important documents like Aadhaar, Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Bank Cheque Book, ATM etc. are being delivered by postmen along with Prasad from various temples, medicines and Rakhi on Raksha Bandhan festival. In Varanasi Region, more than two thousand postmen knock on the doors of citizen every day, through whom on an average 6 lakh Speed Post & Registered letters and 13 lakh ordinary letters are being delivered every month. For promotion of e-commerce, Cash on Delivery, for regular clearing of mail from letter boxes  Nanyatha mobile app, Android based smart delivery and financial services by postmen are innovative initiatives of the Department of Posts, said Mr. Yadav.

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav further said that the Postman is the most visible face of the Department of Posts. The identity of the Postman has been to deliver letters and money orders, but now a days Postman has a smart phone in his hand and a digital device in his mail bag. To promote economic and social inclusion in rural areas, postmen are functioning as mobile ATMs and providing facilities of DBT, Jan Suraksha schemes, Aadhaar, Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, e-Shram Card, vehicle insurance, Digital Life Certificate. They are enrolling children up to 5 years for Aadhaar and updating mobile number at door step, which is very useful in rural areas. Accordingly,  more than 20,000 Aadhaar enrolment/updation is being done through CELC every month. Apart from this every month approx. 18,000 people are made available cash withdrawal by postmen at their door step through Aadhaar Enabled Payment System. Even today, Postal Workers are providing Postal Services to remote areas regardless of winter, summer and rain, said Postmaster general Yadav.

National Postal Workers Day (1 July) : वैश्विक स्तर पर डाककर्मियों की भूमिका में हो रहे तमाम परिवर्तन - पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कृष्ण कुमार यादव

विश्व भर में डाक सेवाओं में आमूल चूल परिवर्तन आये हैं। फिजिकल मेल से डिजिटल मेल के इस दौर में डाक सेवाओं में विविधता के साथ कई नए आयाम जुड़े हैं। डाककर्मी सरकारों और आमजन के बीच सेवाओं को प्रदान करने वाले एक अहम कड़ी के रूप में उभरे हैं। ऐसे में 1 जुलाई को पूरी दुनिया में  ‘नेशनल पोस्टल वर्कर्स डे’ के दिन डाककर्मियों का आभार व्यक्त करने का प्रचलन उभरा है। वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि ‘नेशनल पोस्टल वर्कर डे’ की अवधारणा अमेरिका से आई, जहाँ वाशिंगटन राज्य के सीऐटल शहर में वर्ष 1997 में कर्मचारियों के सम्मान में इस विशेष दिवस की शुरुआत की गई। धीरे-धीरे इसे भारत सहित अन्य देशों में भी मनाया जाने लगा। यह दिन दुनिया भर में डाककर्मियों द्वारा की जाने वाली सेवा के सम्मान में मनाया जाता है।

वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि डाककर्मियों की भूमिका में तमाम परिवर्तन आए हैं। ‘डाकिया डाक लाया’ के साथ  ‘डाकिया बैंक लाया’ भी अब उतना ही महत्वपूर्ण है। पत्रों व पार्सल के साथ-साथ आधुनिक दौर में लोगों के जीवन से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण चीजें पोस्टमैन ही घर-घर वितरित करता है। आधार कार्ड, पासपोर्ट, पैन कार्ड, वोटर आईडी, ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस, बैंक चेक बुक, एटीएम जैसे महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेजों के साथ-साथ विभिन्न मंदिरों के प्रसाद, दवाईयां और रक्षाबंधन पर्व पर राखियाँ भी डाकियों द्वारा ही पहुँचायी जा रही हैं। वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र में दो हजार से ज्यादा पोस्टमैन लोगों के दरवाजे पर हर रोज दस्तक लगाते हैं, जिनके द्वारा औसतन प्रति माह 6 लाख स्पीड पोस्ट व पंजीकृत पत्र और 13 लाख साधारण पत्रों का वितरण किया जा रहा है। ई-कामर्स को बढ़ावा देने हेतु कैश ऑन डिलीवरी, लेटर बाक्स से नियमित डाक निकालने हेतु नन्यथा मोबाईल एप एवं डाकियों द्वारा एण्ड्रोयड बेस्ड स्मार्ट फोन आधारित डिलीवरी और वित्तीय सेवाएं प्रदान करना जैसे तमाम कदम डाक विभाग की अभिनव पहल हैं।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डाक विभाग का सबसे मुखर चेहरा डाकिया है। डाकिया की पहचान चिट्ठी-पत्री और मनीऑर्डर बाँटने वाली रही है, पर अब डाकिए के हाथ में स्मार्ट फोन और बैग में डिजिटल डिवाइस भी है। इण्डिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स  बैंक के माध्यम से आर्थिक और सामाजिक समावेशन के तहत पोस्टमैन चलते-फिरते एटीएम के रूप में नई भूमिका निभा रहे हैं और जन सुरक्षा योजनाओं से लेकर आधार, डीबीटी, प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना, ई-श्रम कार्ड, वाहन बीमा,डिजिटल लाइफ सर्टिफिकेट तक की सुविधा प्रदान कर रहे हैं। घर-घर जाकर आईपीपीबी के अंतर्गत डाकियों द्वारा घर बैठे 5 वर्ष तक के बच्चों का आधार बनाने, आधार में मोबाइल नंबर अपडेट करने के तहत प्रति माह 20,000 लोगों का आधार नामांकन/अद्यतनीकरण का कार्य किया जा रहा है, वहीं 18,000 लोगों को आधार इनेबल्ड पेमेंट सिस्टम के माध्यम से घर बैठे उनके विभिन्न बैंक खातों  से नगदी उपलब्ध करायी जा रही है। आज भी डाककर्मी जाड़ा, गर्मी, बरसात की परवाह किये बिना सुदूर क्षेत्रों तक डाक सेवाएँ प्रदान कर रहे हैं।
