A programme was organized in Varanasi cantt Head Post Office on the occasion of Hindi Pakhwara on 24 Sept. 2013 . In the beginning of the
programme, Sri S.S. Mishra, Sr Sudpt of Post Offices Varanasi (East) Dn. and Shri RN Yadav, Supdt. of Post Offices welcomed Chief Guest Sri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services,
Allahabad Region and briefed about the programme organized during Hindi
Pakhwara.
Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad region said
that Hindi is our mother tongue and one should not connect it with Pakhwara
only. He said that Hindi is not just a language but also a symbol of cultural
heritage, who is uniting languages across the country and had played an
important role in emotional unity and promotion of cultural diversity of the
country.
The celebration of Hindi Pakhwara is not to worry of Hindi instead
of thinking of growth and progress of Hindi said Sri S.S. Mishra Sr Supdt of
Post Offices Varanasi (East) Dn. Meanwhile Sri R.N. Yadav Supdt. Of Post
Offices Varanasi (West) Dn. said to the officers and the employees and urged to
encourage Hindi in government work whole heartedly so that the status of
national language could reflect in true spirit, Sri H.G. Mishra, Sr.
Postmaster, Varanasi HO said that the Hindi is a linking language for the
country and it should be adapted vastly in official working.
At last
Prizes were distrubuted by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services among
the winner officials of various Hindi competitions. At the same time, Shri Keshav Sharan, Sri Murali Manohar and Sri
Ganesh Prasad 'Gambir' PA Varanasi HPO were awarded for their
contribution to Hindi literature.
