Progressive use of Hindi promotes National Unity and Integrity - Aprajita Sharma Atique

Director of Accounts (Postal), Lucknow celebrated Hindi fort-night from 14/09/2013 to 27/09/2013 as a part of the programme to promote the use of Rajbhasha Hindi in official work.  The valedictory function of these celebrations was organized on 27th September, 2013 at DPA Lucknow. At the outset, Mr. R.K. Pal (Rajbhasha cell) welcomed the gathering which was graced by the presence of Director Mrs. Aprajita Sharma Atique.

During this two weeks long celebrations the officers and staff used Hindi for their official work to the extent possible. Also various programmes in Hindi were organized to reiterate the importance of official language.
The celebrations included an essay competition, noting and drafting competition, General knowledge quiz, kids poem recitation competition and departmental “ kavya goshthi”. The winners of various competitions held were honoured by DPA. While addressing the gathering, Director praised the staff for participating in this event with great enthusiasm. She said that the National Language of any nation is not only significant as a tool of communication but it carries basic culture / values of the people of the Nation. She said that every citizen should respect the Nation, National Language, Culture and its basic values.

She also said that the progressive use of Hindi promotes National Unity and Integrity. Further she appealed all the employees to use Hindi in their day to day work as per the policy of the Government of India.
