Director General Postal Services concludes Uttar Pradesh Philatelic Exhibition 'UPHILEX-2022' with prize distribution

डाक विभाग द्वारा ललित कला अकादमी क्षेत्रीय केंद्र, अलीगंज, लखनऊ में आयोजित 12वीं राज्य स्तरीय डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी 'यूफिलेक्स–2022' का समापन महानिदेशक डाक सेवाएँ श्री आलोक शर्मा द्वारा उ.प्र. परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कौशलेंद्र कुमार सिन्हा की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में किया गया। इस अवसर पर 'भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की नायिकाएं, उत्तर प्रदेश' पर 9 विशेष आवरण व विरूपण का विमोचन एवं प्रदर्शनी के विजेताओं को डाक महानिदेशक द्वारा पुरस्कृत भी किया गया।

महानिदेशक डाक सेवाएँ श्री आलोक शर्मा ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि समाज और राष्ट्र के विकास में डाक विभाग की अहम भूमिका है तथा यह जन सेवा के माध्यम से राष्ट्र सेवा में समर्पित हैं। नवाचार और नवीनतम टेक्नोलॉजी को अपनाते हुए डाक विभाग अपनी सेवाएँ दे रहा है। डाक टिकट खुद में ही तमामों जानकारियां समेटे हुए हैं, हर डाक टिकट एक कहानी बयां करता है। ऐसे में बच्चों के बीच इसे एक शौक के रूप में विकसित करने की आवश्यकता हैं। 'भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की नायिकाएं उत्तर प्रदेश' पर जारी विशेष आवरण की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में उत्तरप्रदेश की नायिकाओं का योगदान अतुलनीय हैं। सभी 09 नायिकाएं 09 दुर्गा का मूर्त स्वरूप हैं। ऐसे स्पेशल कवर जारी होने से नारी शक्ति को विशेष प्रेरणा मिलेगी।

चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कौशलेन्द्र कुमार सिन्हा ने कहा कि डाक विभाग महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए तमामों कार्यक्रम चला रहा है, जिसमें बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ के तहत सुकन्या समृद्धि योजना प्रमुख है।इसी क्रम में भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की नायिकाओं पर विशेष आवरण जारी होने से लोगों को जहाँ देश की वीरांगनाओं के बारे में जानकारी होगी वहीं महिला सशक्तिकरण को बल मिलेगा।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि भारतीय स्वातंत्र्य समर में उत्कृष्ट योगदान देने वाली सभी 09 नायिकाएं (रानी लक्ष्मीबाई, दुर्गावती देवी, बेगम हजरत महल, महरानी तलाश कुँवरि, झलकारी बाई,कैप्टन लक्ष्मी सहगल, सरोजिनी नायडू, व ऊदा देवी व महावीरी देवी) उत्तर प्रदेश से संबंधित हैं, जिन पर विशेष आवरण व विरूपण जारी किया गया है।

भारत की समृद्धि, संस्कृति एव विकास में उत्तर प्रदेश के योगदान पर आयोजित डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी के विभन्न वर्गों में कुल 90 डाक टिकट संग्रहकर्ताओं (फिलेटेलिस्ट) ने भाग लिया। डॉ. रजनीश एल. कमिक को गवर्नर ट्रॉफी व श्री अदम्य वर्मा को सी.पी.एम.जी ट्रॉफी से सम्मानित किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त 10 गोल्ड मैडल, 26 सिल्वर मेडल व 21ब्रोंज मेडल भी फिलेटलिस्टों को प्रदान किए गए एवं साथ ही साथ स्टैम्प डिजाइनिंग व फिलेटलिक प्रश्नोत्तरी के 3-3 विजेताओं को भी पुरस्कृत किया गया।

ज्यूरी रिपोर्ट का वाचन ज्यूरी मेंबर श्री प्रशांत पांड्या ने किया। 

इस अवसर पर पोस्टमास्टर जनरल  कर्नल एस.एफ.एच रिजवी, श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव, श्री राजीव उमराव, श्री विवेक दक्ष व महाप्रबंधक (वित्त) श्री राजेन्द्र भी मंचासीन रहे। स्वागत भाषण पोस्टमास्टर जनरल गोरखपुर श्री विनोद कुमार वर्मा और आभार ज्ञापन पोस्टमास्टर जनरल बरेली श्री संजय सिंह ने किया। मंच संचालन अखंड प्रताप सिंह ने किया।

12th State Level Postal Stamp Exhibition 'UPHILEX-2022' organized by the Department of Posts at Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Aliganj, Lucknow concluded by Director General Postal Services, Shri Alok Sharma. Closing ceremony presided over by Chief Postmaster General of UP circle, Shri Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha. On this occasion, 9 special covers and cancellations on 'Sheroes of Indian Freedom Struggle from Uttar Pradesh' were released and the winners of the exhibition were also rewarded by the Director General Postal Services.

Director General Postal Services, Shri Alok Sharma in his address said that the Department of Posts plays a significant role in the development of society & the nation and India Post is dedicated towards service of the nation through public service. Department of Posts is offering its services by adopting innovation and latest technology. Stamps & covers itself contains a lot of information, every cover & stamp depicts a story. Thus, there is a need to develop philately as a hobby with passion among children. Appreciating the special cover released on 'Sheroes of Indian Freedom Struggle from Uttar Pradesh', he said that the contribution of the sheroes of Uttar Pradesh in the freedom struggle is unexcelled. All the 09 sheroes are the embodiment of 09 Durga's. The release of such special covers will inspire women across the world. Future, he added that  a National Level Philatelic Exhibition is going to be held in New Delhi to promote Philately around Feb-2023.

Chief Postmaster General, Shri Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha said that the Department of Post is continuously working for women empowerment, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana under Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao is one of them. On release of such special covers, where people will get information about the sheroes of the country, women empowerment will also be promoted.

Postmaster General, Varanasi Region, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav infomed that all the 09 sheroes (Rani Laxmibai, Durgawati Devi, Begum Hazrat Mahal, Maharani Talash Kunwari, Jhalkari Bai, Captain Lakshmi Sehgal, Sarojini Naidu, Uda Devi and Mahaviri Devi) who made outstanding contributions to the Indian freedom struggle belong to Uttar Pradesh, on which special covers and cancellations have been released.

90 Philatelist participated under different categories of the Philatelic exhibition organized on the 'Contribution of Uttar Pradesh to the prosperity, culture and development of India'. Dr. Rajneesh L. Kamik was awarded the Governor's Trophy and Shri Adamya Verma with the CPMG Trophy. Apart from this 10 Gold Medals, 26 Silver Medals and 21 Bronze Medals were also awarded to Philatelists as well. Winners of the Stamp Designing and Philatelic Quiz held among students, were also awarded.

Postmaster General Col. S.F.H. Rizvi, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Shri Rajiv Umrao, Shri Vivek Daksha and General Manager (Finance) Shri Rajendra Prasad were also present on the occasion. Welcome address was delivered by Postmaster General Gorakhpur Shri Vinod Kumar Verma and Vote of Thanks by Postmaster General Bareilly, Shri Sanjay Singh. Apart from this, many other senior officers and employees of the Department, philatelist and students also remained present. Shri Akhand Pratap Singh anchored the event.

डाक विभाग द्वारा ललित कला अकादमी क्षेत्रीय केंद्र, अलीगंज, लखनऊ में आयोजित 12वीं राज्य स्तरीय डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी 'यूफिलेक्स–2022' के दूसरे दिन का उदघाटन लखनऊ की मेयर श्रीमती संयुक्ता भाटिया द्वारा उ.प्र. परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कौशलेंद्र कुमार सिन्हा की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में किया गया। इस अवसर पर 'बौद्ध परिपथ' पर 06 विशेष आवरण व विरूपण का विमोचन भी महापौर और चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल द्वारा किया गया। 

मेयर श्रीमती संयुक्ता भाटिया ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि डाक टिकट और चिट्ठियां तमामों यादों और घटनाक्रमों को सहेजे हुए है। रंग बिरंगे डाक टिकट और विशेष आवरण जहाँ सभी का मन मोह लेते हैं वहीं विभिन्न संस्कृतियों के विकास क्रम के बारे में ढ़ेरों जानकारियां भी जन-जन तक पहुंचाते हैं। बौद्ध परिपथ पर विशेष आवरण जारी किए जाने की सराहाना करते हुए मेयर ने कहा कि बुद्ध का जीवन सत्य, अहिंसा, प्रेम, दया, करुणा और त्याग का पर्याय हैं, बुद्ध की शिक्षाओं से हमें  प्रेरणा लेनी चाहिए। 

 चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कौशलेन्द्र कुमार सिन्हा ने कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता करते हुए कहा कि डाक विभाग का संवाद से पुराना नाता है और वर्षों से यह संचार का सशक्त माध्यम रहा है। आज भी डाक टिकटों के माध्यम से विज्ञान प्रौद्योगिकी, जैव विविधता, स्पोर्ट्स, अंतरिक्ष तक की जानकारियां युवाओं को प्राप्त हो रही है। महात्मा बुद्ध के जीवनकाल से संबंधित स्थलों पर विशेष आवरण जारी होने से लोगों को जहाँ इन स्थलों की जानकारी होगी वहीं पर्यटन को भी बढ़ावा मिलेगा। 

 पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कानपुर परिक्षेत्र कर्नल एस. एफ. एच. रिजवी ने कहा कि डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी का अद्भुत संसार जीवन के हर आयाम को सहेजे हुए है।

 पोस्टमास्टर जनरल वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि महात्मा बुद्ध से संबंधित सारनाथ (वाराणसी), कपिलवस्तु (सिद्धार्थ नगर), कौशाम्बी, संकिसा (कन्नौज), श्रावस्ती व कुशीनगर ये सभी 06  ऐतिहासिक स्थल उत्तर प्रदेश में स्थित हैं, जिन पर विशेष आवरण व विरूपण जारी किया गया है।

Second day of the 12th State Level Philatelic Exhibition 'UPHILEX-2022' organized by the Department of Posts at Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Aliganj, Lucknow was inaugurated by Lucknow Mayor Smt. Sanyukta Bhatia. The programme was presided by the Chief Postmaster General, UP Circle, Shri Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha. On this occasion, 06 special covers and cancellations on 'Buddha Circuit' were also released by the Mayor and Chief Postmaster General.

 Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia said in her address that Stamps and letters are witnesses of old memories and important events. Colorful stamps and special covers attract everyone's attention and they also convey detailed information about the development sequence of different cultures to the people as well. Appreciating the release of special covers on the Budda Circuit, she said that Buddha's life is an epitome of truth, non-violence, love, kindness, compassion and renunciation, we should take inspiration from the teachings of Buddha.

 Chief Postmaster General, Shri Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha while presiding over the programme said that the Department of Posts has an old relationship with communication and has been a rich medium of communication over the years. Even today, youth are receiving information about science, technology, bio-diversity, sports and space through various stamps. With the release of special covers on the places related to the life of Mahatma Buddha, he added that people get knowledge about these places and tourism will also get a boost as well.

Postmaster General Kanpur Region Col. S.F.H. Rizvi said that the wonderful world of Philatelic exhibition shows a glimpse of every dimension of life.

 Postmaster General of Varanasi Region Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav informed that Sarnath (Varanasi), Kapilvastu (Siddharth Nagar), Kaushambi, Sankisa (Kannauj), Shravasti and Kushinagar, all these 06 historical places related to Mahatma Buddha are located in Uttar Pradesh, on which special cover and cancellations has been released.

 Postmaster General Col. SFH Rizvi, Shri Sanjay Singh, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Shri Rajiv Umrao and Shri Vivek Daksh were also present on this occasion. The welcome address was delivered by Director Prayagraj Shri Gaurav Shrivastava and vote of thanks by Senior Superintendent Shri Anand Singh. Programme was anchored by Akhand Pratap Singh.

 During the exhibition, cultural programs were also organized along with the organization of stamp design competition and philatelic games.

आजादी के अमृत महोत्सव के क्रम में डाक विभाग द्वारा ललित कला अकादमी, अलीगंज, लखनऊ में आयोजित 12वीं राज्य स्तरीय डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी 'यूफिलेक्स–2022' का उदघाटन उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ द्वारा 15 अक्टूबर, 2022 को किया गया। दीप प्रज्वलन कर और फीता काटकर उन्होंने इसका उदघाटन किया और तत्पश्चात 304 फ्रेमों में आयोजित डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया। इस अवसर पर प्रदर्शित किए गए टिकटों के बारे में मुख्यमंत्री को उत्तर प्रदेश परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्ट मास्टर जनरल श्री कौशलेंद्र कुमार सिन्हा और वरिष्ठ ज्यूरी सदस्य श्री प्रशांत एच. पांड्या ने जानकारी दी। 

इस अवसर पर 'श्रीराम वन गमन पथ' पर 14 विशेष आवरण व विरूपण का एक विशेष सेट एवं डेफिनिटिव स्टाम्प थीम पैक का विमोचन भी मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा किया गया। श्री राम वन गमन से संबंधित यह सभी 14 स्थान उत्तर प्रदेश से संबंधित हैं - अयोध्या, तमसा नदी तट, सूर्य कुण्ड (सभी अयोध्या), सीता कुण्ड (सुल्तानपुर), देव घाट (प्रतापगढ़), श्रृंगवेरपुर, राम जोईटा, महर्षि भारद्वाज आश्रम, अक्षयवट (सभी प्रयागराज), सीता पहाड़ी, महर्षि वाल्मीकि आश्रम, कामदगिरि, रामशैय्या, रामघाट (सभी चित्रकूट)।

मुख्यमंत्री श्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि डाक सेवाओं का एक समृद्ध इतिहास रहा है। डाक टिकट अतीत को वर्तमान से जोड़ते है। देश और प्रदेश के समृद्ध व गौरवशाली इतिहास से परिचय कराने में डाक टिकटों का अहम स्थान है। युवा पीढ़ी और विद्यार्थियों के लिए डाक टिकट संग्रह एक शौक के साथ-साथ ज्ञानवर्धन का भी सशक्त माध्यम है।

मुख्यमंत्री ने श्री राम वन गमन पर जारी विशेष आवरण की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि भारत की समृद्धि, संस्कृति एवं विरासत में उत्तर प्रदेश का अहम योगदान है, वहीं स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में भी उत्तर प्रदेश ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। डाक टिकटों और विशेष आवरण के माध्यम से डाक विभाग द्वारा इन सभी विषयों को सहेजते हुए आगामी पीढ़ियों से जोड़ा जा रहा है।

उत्तर प्रदेश परिमण्डल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कौशलेन्द्र कुमार सिन्हा ने अध्यक्षता करते हुए कहा कि डाक विभाग फिलेटली को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु तमाम कदम उठा रहा है। फिलेटली को एक हॉबी के रूप में अपनाने की जरूरत है। इससे युवा जहां मोबाइल की लत से बच सकेंगे, वहीं डाक टिकटों के माध्यम से तमाम जानकारियां प्राप्त कर ज्ञान में रचनात्मक अभिवृद्धि कर सकेंगे।

इस अवसर पर विधायक डा. नीरज बोरा, श्री अमरेश कुमार और श्रीमती जय देवी, ज्यूरी सदस्य श्री प्रशांत एच. पांड्या, पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कर्नल एस.एफ.एच रिजवी भी मंचासीन रहे। स्वागत भाषण पोस्टमास्टर जनरल लखनऊ क्षेत्र श्री विवेक दक्ष और आभार ज्ञापन पोस्टमास्टर जनरल वाराणसी क्षेत्र श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने किया। संचालन योगेश मिश्र व अखंड प्रताप सिंह ने किया ।

प्रदर्शनी के दौरान स्कूली विद्यार्थियों हेतु फिलेटली वर्कशॉप, क्विज, स्टैंप डिजाइन प्रतियोगिता और अन्य फिलेटलिक गेम्स का आयोजन किया गया। माई स्टैंप काउंटर भी लोगों के लिए आकर्षण का केंद्र रहा।

12th State Level Philatelic Stamp Exhibition 'UPHILEX-2022' organized by the Department of Posts at Lalit Kala Academy, Aliganj, Lucknow, was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, in the order of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. He inaugurated it by lighting the lamp and cutting the ribbon and then visited the Philatelic Exhibition exhibited in 304 frames. Chief Postmaster General, Uttar Pradesh Circle, Mr. Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha and Senior Jury Member Mr. Prashant H. Pandya briefed the Chief Minister about the stamps and special covers exhibited on the occasion. On this occasion, a special set of 14 special covers with cancellations were released by the Chief Minister on 'Shri Ram Van Gaman Path'. All these 14 places related to Shri Ram Van Gaman belong to Uttar Pradesh- Ayodhya, Tamsa River Bank, Surya Kund (All Ayodhya), Sita Kund (Sultanpur), Dev Ghat (Pratapgarh), Shringverpur, Ram Joita, Maharishi Bharadwaj Ashram, Akshayvat (all Prayagraj), Sita Hills, Maharishi Valmiki Ashram, Kamadgiri, Ramshaiya, Ramghat (all Chitrakoot).

Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath said that Postal services have a rich history. Philately connect the past with the present. Stamps have an important place in introducing the rich and glorious history of the country and the UP. For youth, Philately is a hobby as well as rich source of knowledge enhancement.

Appreciating the special cover issued on Shri Ram Van Gaman Path, the Chief Minister said that Uttar Pradesh has an important contribution in the prosperity, culture and heritage of India, while Uttar Pradesh also played an important role in the freedom struggle. Through stamps and special covers, all these subjects are being secured by the Department of Posts and carried forward to the coming generations.

Presiding over the inauguration ceremony, Chief Postmaster General, Uttar Pradesh Circle, Shri Kaushalendra Kumar Sinha said that the Department of Posts is taking many steps to encourage Philately. Philately needs to be adopted as a hobby. With this, youth will be able to avoid mobile addiction and acquire information through philately which will enrich their knowledge.

MLAs Dr. Neeraj Bora, Mr. Amresh Kumar and Mrs. Jai Devi, jury member Mr. Prashant H. Pandya, Postmaster General Col. S.F.H. Rizvi was also present on the dais. Welcome address was given by the Postmaster General Lucknow Shri Vivek Daksh, while Vote of Thanks by the Postmaster General Varanasi Region Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav. Yogesh Mishra and Akhand Pratap Singh anchored the programme.

Philately Workshop, Quiz, Stamp Design Competition and other philatelic games were organized for students during the exhibition. My Stamp counter was also the center of attraction for the people.
