Director General Postal Services concludes Uttar Pradesh Philatelic Exhibition 'UPHILEX-2022' with prize distribution

डाक विभाग द्वारा ललित कला अकादमी क्षेत्रीय केंद्र, अलीगंज, लखनऊ में आयोजित 12वीं राज्य स्तरीय डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी 'यूफिलेक्स–2022' का समापन महानिदेशक डाक सेवाएँ श्री आलोक शर्मा द्वारा उ.प्र. परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कौशलेंद्र कुमार सिन्हा की अध्यक्षता में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में किया गया। इस अवसर पर 'भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की नायिकाएं, उत्तर प्रदेश' पर 9 विशेष आवरण व विरूपण का विमोचन एवं प्रदर्शनी के विजेताओं को डाक महानिदेशक द्वारा पुरस्कृत भी किया गया।

महानिदेशक डाक सेवाएँ श्री आलोक शर्मा ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि समाज और राष्ट्र के विकास में डाक विभाग की अहम भूमिका है तथा यह जन सेवा के माध्यम से राष्ट्र सेवा में समर्पित हैं। नवाचार और नवीनतम टेक्नोलॉजी को अपनाते हुए डाक विभाग अपनी सेवाएँ दे रहा है। डाक टिकट खुद में ही तमामों जानकारियां समेटे हुए हैं, हर डाक टिकट एक कहानी बयां करता है। ऐसे में बच्चों के बीच इसे एक शौक के रूप में विकसित करने की आवश्यकता हैं। 'भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की नायिकाएं उत्तर प्रदेश' पर जारी विशेष आवरण की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में उत्तरप्रदेश की नायिकाओं का योगदान अतुलनीय हैं। सभी 09 नायिकाएं 09 दुर्गा का मूर्त स्वरूप हैं। ऐसे स्पेशल कवर जारी होने से नारी शक्ति को विशेष प्रेरणा मिलेगी।

चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कौशलेन्द्र कुमार सिन्हा ने कहा कि डाक विभाग महिला सशक्तिकरण के लिए तमामों कार्यक्रम चला रहा है, जिसमें बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ के तहत सुकन्या समृद्धि योजना प्रमुख है।इसी क्रम में भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम की नायिकाओं पर विशेष आवरण जारी होने से लोगों को जहाँ देश की वीरांगनाओं के बारे में जानकारी होगी वहीं महिला सशक्तिकरण को बल मिलेगा।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि भारतीय स्वातंत्र्य समर में उत्कृष्ट योगदान देने वाली सभी 09 नायिकाएं (रानी लक्ष्मीबाई, दुर्गावती देवी, बेगम हजरत महल, महरानी तलाश कुँवरि, झलकारी बाई,कैप्टन लक्ष्मी सहगल, सरोजिनी नायडू, व ऊदा देवी व महावीरी देवी) उत्तर प्रदेश से संबंधित हैं, जिन पर विशेष आवरण व विरूपण जारी किया गया है।

भारत की समृद्धि, संस्कृति एव विकास में उत्तर प्रदेश के योगदान पर आयोजित डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी के विभन्न वर्गों में कुल 90 डाक टिकट संग्रहकर्ताओं (फिलेटेलिस्ट) ने भाग लिया। डॉ. रजनीश एल. कमिक को गवर्नर ट्रॉफी व श्री अदम्य वर्मा को सी.पी.एम.जी ट्रॉफी से सम्मानित किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त 10 गोल्ड मैडल, 26 सिल्वर मेडल व 21ब्रोंज मेडल भी फिलेटलिस्टों को प्रदान किए गए एवं साथ ही साथ स्टैम्प डिजाइनिंग व फिलेटलिक प्रश्नोत्तरी के 3-3 विजेताओं को भी पुरस्कृत किया गया।

ज्यूरी रिपोर्ट का वाचन ज्यूरी मेंबर श्री प्रशांत पांड्या ने किया।

इस अवसर पर पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कर्नल एस.एफ.एच रिजवी, श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव, श्री राजीव उमराव, श्री विवेक दक्ष व महाप्रबंधक (वित्त) श्री राजेन्द्र भी मंचासीन रहे। स्वागत भाषण पोस्टमास्टर जनरल गोरखपुर श्री विनोद कुमार वर्मा और आभार ज्ञापन पोस्टमास्टर जनरल बरेली श्री संजय सिंह ने किया। मंच संचालन अखंड प्रताप सिंह ने किया।

12th State Level Postal Stamp Exhibition 'UPHILEX-2022' organized by the Department of Posts at Lalit Kala Akademi Regional Centre, Aliganj, Lucknow concluded by Director General Postal Services, Shri Alok Sharma. Closing ceremony presided over by Chief Postmaster General of UP circle, Shri Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha. On this occasion, 9 special covers and cancellations on 'Sheroes of Indian Freedom Struggle from Uttar Pradesh' were released and the winners of the exhibition were also rewarded by the Director General Postal Services.

Director General Postal Services, Shri Alok Sharma in his address said that the Department of Posts plays a significant role in the development of society & the nation and India Post is dedicated towards service of the nation through public service. Department of Posts is offering its services by adopting innovation and latest technology. Stamps & covers itself contains a lot of information, every cover & stamp depicts a story. Thus, there is a need to develop philately as a hobby with passion among children. Appreciating the special cover released on 'Sheroes of Indian Freedom Struggle from Uttar Pradesh', he said that the contribution of the sheroes of Uttar Pradesh in the freedom struggle is unexcelled. All the 09 sheroes are the embodiment of 09 Durga's. The release of such special covers will inspire women across the world. Future, he added that a National Level Philatelic Exhibition is going to be held in New Delhi to promote Philately around Feb-2023.

Chief Postmaster General, Shri Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha said that the Department of Post is continuously working for women empowerment, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana under Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao is one of them. On release of such special covers, where people will get information about the sheroes of the country, women empowerment will also be promoted.

Postmaster General, Varanasi Region, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav infomed that all the 09 sheroes (Rani Laxmibai, Durgawati Devi, Begum Hazrat Mahal, Maharani Talash Kunwari, Jhalkari Bai, Captain Lakshmi Sehgal, Sarojini Naidu, Uda Devi and Mahaviri Devi) who made outstanding contributions to the Indian freedom struggle belong to Uttar Pradesh, on which special covers and cancellations have been released.

90 Philatelist participated under different categories of the Philatelic exhibition organized on the 'Contribution of Uttar Pradesh to the prosperity, culture and development of India'. Dr. Rajneesh L. Kamik was awarded the Governor's Trophy and Shri Adamya Verma with the CPMG Trophy. Apart from this 10 Gold Medals, 26 Silver Medals and 21 Bronze Medals were also awarded to Philatelists as well. Winners of the Stamp Designing and Philatelic Quiz held among students, were also awarded.

Postmaster General Col. S.F.H. Rizvi, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Shri Rajiv Umrao, Shri Vivek Daksha and General Manager (Finance) Shri Rajendra Prasad were also present on the occasion. Welcome address was delivered by Postmaster General Gorakhpur Shri Vinod Kumar Verma and Vote of Thanks by Postmaster General Bareilly, Shri Sanjay Singh. Apart from this, many other senior officers and employees of the Department, philatelist and students also remained present. Shri Akhand Pratap Singh anchored the event.
