Indian Postal Service Officer Krishna Kumar Yadav gets additional charge of Prayagraj Postmaster General

Indian Postal Service (IPoS) officer Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav will now be the new Postmaster General (PMG) of Prayagraj Postal Region. Mr. Yadav is currently the Postmaster General (PMG) of Varanasi Postal Region and along with this he will also hold the additional charge of PMG of Prayagraj region.

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, an officer of the year 2001 batch of the Indian Postal Service (IPoS), had earlier worked on the post of Director Postal Services of Prayagraj Region from February 2012 to March 2015. Prayagraj Postal Region includes Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur and Amethi districts.

On the occasion Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav took stock of the progress of Postal services in the Prayagraj Postal Region with the departmental officers. He asked everyone to work with team spirit and adopt a customer- friendly approach by connecting more and more people with various welfare schemes. Emphasis was laid on regular monitoring of various schemes and prompt disposal of public grievances. Emphasis was laid on increasing financial inclusion by organising special camps in rural areas.

It is noteworthy that Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav is also a senior Hindi litterateur, writer and blogger and seven of his books have been published in different genres. He has received hundreds of honors from various organisations in the country and abroad. Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, popular as an efficient and sensitive administrator, has previously worked on various posts in Surat (Gujarat), Lucknow, Kanpur, Andaman-Nicobar Islands, Prayagraj, Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and Varanasi.
