Department of Posts is making its services and environment high tech and customer friendly day by day. In the same sequence, the lift in Prayagraj Head Post Office located at Civil Lines was inaugurated by the Postmaster General of Prayagraj Region Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav on 9th March, 2024. On this occasion, Director Postal Services Shri Gaurav Srivastava, Senior Superintendent of Post Offices Shri Abhishek Srivastava, Senior Postmaster Shri Rajesh Srivastava were also present.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that Prayagraj has an important place in the field of postal services. Many postal services started from here and even today it has preserved many things as a heritage. The location of the Head Post Office makes it even more important. Many aspects of history are hidden in its lap. The architecture of the old building of the Head Post Office, built in the year 1834 during the British era, the design of the rooms and the large halls are really fascinating.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that all the services are available under one roof in the Head Post Office, hence the installation of lift here will provide convenience to all the customers and employees. This lift will be of great convenience especially for the disabled, senior citizens and women. Every day more than a thousand people come to the Head Post Office for general postal services, speed post, registry and parcel booking, savings bank, Aadhaar, passport, India Post Payments Bank, philately etc.

It is noteworthy that there are various counters of postal services on the ground floor and first floor of the Head Post Office building, while on the second and third floors, the offices of Senior  Superintendent of Post Offices and Postmaster General are located respectively.

भारतीय डाक विभाग अपनी सेवाओं और परिवेश को दिनों-ब-दिन हाई टेक और कस्टमर फ्रेंडली बना रहा है। इसी क्रम में सिविल लाइंस स्थित प्रयागराज प्रधान डाकघर में लिफ्ट का लोकार्पण प्रयागराज परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने 9 मार्च, 2024 को किया। इस अवसर पर निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री गौरव  श्रीवास्तव, प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक श्री अभिषेक श्रीवास्तव, सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर श्री राजेश श्रीवास्तव भी मौजूद रहे। 

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डाक सेवाओं के क्षेत्र में प्रयागराज का महत्वपूर्ण स्थान है। यहीं से तमाम डाक सेवाओं की शुरूआत हुयी और आज भी धरोहर के रूप में तमाम बातों को यह सहेजे हुये है। प्रधान डाकघर की अवस्थिति इसे और भी महत्वपूर्ण बनाती है। इसके आगोश में इतिहास के तमाम पहलू छुपे हुये हैं। अंग्रेजों के ज़माने में वर्ष 1834 में निर्मित प्रधान डाकघर की पुरानी बिल्डिंग का स्थापत्य, कमरों की डिज़ायन और बड़े-बड़े हॉल वाकई मनमोहक हैं।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि प्रधान डाकघर में एक ही छत के नीचे तमाम सेवाएं उपलब्ध हैं, ऐसे में यहाँ लिफ्ट लगने से ग्राहकों और कर्मियों सभी को सुविधा होगी। विशेषकर दिव्यांगों, वरिष्ठ नागरिकों, महिलाओं के लिए इस लिफ्ट से काफी सहूलियत होगी। प्रतिदिन प्रधान डाकघर में एक हज़ार से ज़्यादा लोग सामान्य डाक सेवाओं, स्पीड पोस्ट, रजिस्ट्री व पार्सल बुकिंग, बचत बैंक, आधार, पासपोर्ट, इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक, फ़िलेटली इत्यादि के लिए आते हैं।

ग़ौरतलब है कि प्रधान डाकघर भवन के भू तल एवं प्रथम तल पर डाक सेवाओं के विभिन्न काउंटर्स हैं, वहीं द्वितीय व तृतीय तल पर क्रमश: प्रवर डाकघर अधीक्षक और पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कार्यालय अवस्थित है।

भारतीय डाक विभाग एवं प्रयाग फिलाटेलिक सोसाइटी के तत्वावधान में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव और श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर न्यास परिषद् के अध्यक्ष  प्रो. नागेन्द्र पाण्डेय ने  महाशिवरात्रि की पूर्व संध्या पर 7 मार्च, 2024 को "श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर" पर एक विशेष आवरण व विरूपण का विमोचन किया। वाराणसी प्रधान डाकघर के अविमुक्ता सभागार में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में इस विशेष आवरण पर रामायण का डाक टिकट लगाकर नंदी के चित्र के साथ इसका विरूपण किया गया। वाराणसी पश्चिमी मंडल के डाक अधीक्षक श्री विनय कुमार, सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर श्री पी.सी. तिवारी, प्रयाग फिलाटेलिक सोसाइटी के अध्यक्ष श्री प्रमोद कुमार बंसल और सचिव श्री राहुल गांगुली भी उपस्थित रहे।

इस अवसर पर श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर न्यास परिषद् के अध्यक्ष  प्रो. नागेन्द्र पाण्डेय ने कहा कि भगवान शिव का यह मंदिर द्वादश ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक हैI बाबा विश्वनाथ की नगरी काशी,अपने कण-कण में पौराणिक, ऐतिहासिक एवं सांस्कृतिक ज्ञान की अमृत धारा लिए हुए है और श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर इन सबको सहेजते हुए सदियों से लोगों की चेतना को स्पंदित करता रहा है। डाक विभाग विभिन्न डाक टिकटों और आवरण के माध्यम से देश की संस्कृति का वैश्विक स्तर पर प्रसार करने का उत्कृष्ट कार्य कर रहा है, इससे युवा पीढ़ी को भी अपनी समृद्ध विरासत और संस्कृति से जोड़ने में सहायता मिलेगी। प्रो. नागेन्द्र पाण्डेय ने कहा कि वर्ष 2021 में प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी के नेतृत्व में नव्य, दिव्य और भव्य श्री काशी विश्वनाथ कॉरिडोर के उद्घाटन उपरांत श्रद्धालुओं और पर्यटकों को जहाँ ज्यादा सुविधाएं मिली हैं, वहीं बाबा के दरबार में आने वालों की संख्या में भी बढ़ोत्तरी हुई है। डाक विभाग के माध्यम से पूरे देश में स्पीड पोस्ट के माध्यम से श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर प्रसाद भेजे जाने की पहल की भी उन्होंने सराहना की।  

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि गंगा तट पर अवस्थित श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर सिर्फ धर्म और अध्यात्म नहीं बल्कि साहित्यिक, शैक्षणिक, सांस्कृतिक और दार्शनिक गतिविधियों का भी सदियों से केंद्र रहा है। ऐसे में इस विशेष आवरण से पूरे विश्व में वाराणसी और भगवान शिव से जुड़े सांस्कृतिक संबंधों का प्रसार होगा। इसका उद्देश्य श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर की महिमा, उसकी संस्कृति, उसकी पवित्रता सहित काशी के इतिहास को देश-दुनिया तक पहुँचाना है। दिव्य-काशी, भव्य-काशी के साथ यह काशी के सांस्कृतिक गौरव और अस्मिता को नई पहचान देगा।

डाक अधीक्षक विनय कुमार ने बताया कि श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर पर जारी उक्त विशेष आवरण मय विरूपण 25 रुपए में फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो, वाराणसी प्रधान डाकघर में उपलब्ध होगा।

The special cover released on Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple will spread the cultural relations related to Varanasi and Lord Shiva all over the world - Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav.

Postmaster General of Varanasi Region Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav and Chairman of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust Council, Prof. Nagendra Pandey released a Special Cover and Cancellation of "Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple" on the eve of Mahashivratri in a program organized under the aegis of India Post and Prayag Philatelic Society. In this program organized at Avimukta Hall of Varanasi Head Post Office, this special cover was defaced by putting a postage stamp of Ramayana with picture of Nandi on it. Superintendent of Post Offices, Varanasi (West) Division Shri Vinay Kumar, Senior Postmaster Shri P.C. Tiwari, Prayag Philatelic Society President Shri Pramod Kumar Bansal and Secretary Shri Rahul Ganguly were also present.

On this occasion, Chairman of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust Council, Prof. Nagendra Pandey said that this temple of Lord Shiva is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Kashi, the city of Baba Vishwanath, carries the nectar of mythological, historical and cultural knowledge in every part of it and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple has been vibrating people's consciousness preserving all this for centuries. India Post is doing an excellent job of spreading the country's culture globally through various postage stamps and covers, which will also help the younger generation to connect with its rich heritage and culture. Prof. Nagendra Pandey said that after the inauguration of the new, divine and grand Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in the year 2021, where the devotees and tourists have got more facilities, the number of people coming to Baba's court has also increased. He also appreciated the initiative of the Postal Department to send Prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple through Speed Post across the country.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple situated on the banks of Ganga has been the center of not only religion and spirituality but also literary, educational, cultural and philosophical activities for centuries. In such a situation, this special cover will spread the cultural relations related to Varanasi and Lord Shiva all over the world. Its objective is to convey the history of Kashi including the glory of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple, its culture, its sanctity to the country and the world. Along with Divya-Kashi, Bhavya-Kashi, it will give a new identity to the cultural pride and identity of Kashi.

PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana : Now free registration through Post Offices

अब डाकघरों के माध्यम से पीएम सूर्यघर मुफ्त बिजली योजना के लिए पंजीयन किया जा सकता है। इस योजना के पात्र लोगों का सर्वे केंद्र सरकार डाक विभाग के जरिए कर रही है। वाराणसी एवं प्रयागराज परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि डाक विभाग के पोस्टमैन और ग्रामीण डाक सेवक घर-घर जाकर पीएम सूर्यघर मुफ्त बिजली योजना का लाभ बताते हुए सर्वे कर रहे हैं तथा जिन आवासीय घरों में लोग सोलर रूफ टॉप लगवाना चाहते हैं, उनका नि:शुल्क पंजीयन मोबाइल एप के माध्यम से तत्काल कर रहे हैं।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि पोस्टमैन घर-घर जाकर अपने मोबाइल पर एप्लीकेशन 'क्यूआरटी पीएम सूर्यघर' के द्वारा जानकारी जुटा रहे हैं। पंजीयन के लिए ग्राहक का मोबाइल नंबर, ग्राहक का नाम, राज्य, जिला, बिजली वितरण कंपनी, उपभोक्ता खाता संख्या, बिजली बिल की प्रति, घर के रूफटॉप की तस्वीर, सौर स्थापना के लिए उपलब्ध अनुमानित क्षेत्र इत्यादि जानकारी सम्बंधित साइट पर अपलोड कर सोलर रूफटॉप के लिए नि:शुल्क पंजीयन कर रहे हैं। विदित हो कि इस योजना के अंतर्गत एक किलोवाट क्षमता वाले सोलर पैनल के लिए केंद्र सरकार द्वारा 30 हज़ार, दो किलोवाट क्षमता वाले सोलर पैनल के लिए 60 हज़ार जबकि तीन या उससे अधिक किलोवाट क्षमता वाले सोलर पैनल के लिए 78 हजार की सब्सिडी दी जाएगी, जिससे क्रमशः औसतन 0-150, 150-300, 300 यूनिट से अधिक बिजली उत्पादन किया जा सकता है|

गौरतलब है कि  केंद्र सरकार ने हाल ही में बिजली बचाने और विद्युत के क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भर बनने के लिए यह योजना शुरू की है एवं अंतरिम बजट में लोगों को हर माह 300 यूनिट मुफ्त बिजली देने की घोषणा की है। योजना के तहत एक करोड़ घरों पर बिजली के लिए सोलर सिस्टम लगाने का एलान प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी ने किया था। इस योजना के तहत घरों की छत पर सोलर पैनल लगाए जाएंगे। इससे सूर्य की किरणों की मदद से बिजली का उत्पादन होगा। अधिक से अधिक घरों तक इस योजना का लाभ पहुंचे इसके लिए डाक विभाग को नोडल एजेंसी बनाया गया है।

Under 'PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana’, 300 units of free electricity will be given every month, registration is being done through post offices.

Now registration for PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana can be done through post offices. The Central Government is conducting a survey of the people eligible for this scheme through the Postal Department. Postmaster General of Varanasi and Prayagraj Region, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that the Postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks of the Postal Department are going door-to-door and conducting a survey explaining the benefits of PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. In the residential houses where people want to install solar roof top, their free registration is being done immediately through mobile app.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that postmen are going door-to-door and collecting information through the application 'QRT PM Suryaghar' on their mobiles. For registration, information like customer's mobile number, customer's name, state, district, electricity distribution company, consumer account number, copy of electricity bill, photo of rooftop of the house, estimated area available for solar installation etc. have to upload on the respective site for free registration. It is noteworthy that under this scheme, the central government will give a subsidy of Rs. 30 thousand for a solar panel with one kilowatt capacity, Rs. 60 thousand for a solar panel with two kilowatt capacity, and Rs. 78 thousand for a solar panel with three or more kilowatt capacity. Due to which on average 0-150, 150-300, more than 300 units of electricity can be produced respectively.

It is noteworthy that the Central Government has recently started this scheme to save electricity and become self-reliant in the electricity sector and in the interim budget has announced to provide 300 units of free electricity to the people every month. Under the scheme, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had announced to install solar system for electricity in one crore houses. Under this scheme, solar panels will be installed on the roofs of houses. This will generate electricity with the help of sun rays. To ensure that the benefits of this scheme reach maximum number of households, the Postal Department has been made the nodal agency.

After inauguration of rejuvenated and transformed Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, devotees keep thronging. Devotees consider themselves blessed after receiving the prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath. On Mahashivratri, Shiva devotees from all over the country have a desire to pay visit here and get the Prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath. Now, devotees will be able to have the offerings of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple by Speed Post through Postal Department at their doorstep. This information was given by the Postmaster General of Varanasi and Prayagraj Region Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav.

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that under an agreement between the Department of Posts and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, Prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple in new format is being made available to the people through Speed Post Service. To avail this service, an e-money order of  ₹ 251 has to be remit in the favor of Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Varanasi (East) Division-221001 from the nearest post office. Prasad will be sent to the addressee immediately as soon as the e-money order is received. The prasad will be in the temper proof envelope with proper packaging, said Postmaster General Mr. Yadav.

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that the Prasad will include the image of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga, Mahāmrityunjaya Yantra, Shri Shiva Chalisa, 108 beads of Rudraksha's garland, Bel Patra, coin having Bhole Baba's image inscribed with Mata Annapurna, Vibhuti, Raksha Sutra, Rudraksha bead, Dry Fruits and Mishri packet.

 Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices, Varanasi East Divison Mr. Ram Nivas told that Prasad can also be obtained from the counter of Varanasi City Post Office for just ₹ 201 during working hours. For remitting eMO it will be mandatory to mention complete address, pin code and mobile number, so that Speed Post booking details may be sent through SMS to the concern devotees.

डाक विभाग की पहल : महाशिवरात्रि में घर बैठे स्पीड पोस्ट से पाएं श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का प्रसाद

श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर के नव्य-दिव्य स्वरूप में आने के बाद बाबा भोलेनाथ के दर्शन के लिए भक्त खूब उमड़ रहे हैं। श्री काशी विश्वनाथ का प्रसाद पाकर लोग अपने को धन्य समझते हैं। महाशिवरात्रि में भी देश भर से शिव भक्तों की इच्छा यहाँ दर्शन करने और फिर प्रसाद लेकर अपनी को तृप्त करने की होती है। अक्सर लोगों की इच्छा होती है कि काश घर बैठे ही उन्हें बाबा भोलेनाथ का प्रसाद मिल सके। ऐसे लोगों को निराश होने की जरुरत नहीं है। वे घर बैठे डाक विभाग के माध्यम से स्पीड पोस्ट द्वारा श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का प्रसाद प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। उक्त जानकारी वाराणसी एवं प्रयागराज परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने दी।

 

इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि डाक विभाग और श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर ट्रस्ट के बीच हुये एक एग्रीमेण्ट के तहत नए स्वरूप में श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का प्रसाद देश भर में स्पीड पोस्ट सेवा द्वारा लोगों को उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है। इसके तहत अपने नजदीकी डाकघर से मात्र ₹ 251 रूपये का ई-मनीआर्डर प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर, वाराणसी (पूर्वी) मंडल-221001 के नाम भेजना होता है। ई-मनीऑर्डर प्राप्त होते ही डाक विभाग द्वारा तत्काल दिए गए पते पर स्पीड पोस्ट द्वारा प्रसाद भेज दिया जाता है। डिब्बा बंद प्रसाद टेंपर प्रूफ इनवेलप में होता है। इससे किसी भी तरह की छेड़छाड़ नहीं की जा सकती है। इसके अलावा इसे मात्र ₹ 201 में वाराणसी सिटी डाकघर के काउंटर से भी प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

श्री काशी विश्वनाथ प्रसाद में शामिल वस्तुएं-           

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि प्रसाद में श्री काशी विश्वनाथ ज्योतिर्लिङ्ग की छवि, महामृत्युंजय यंत्र, श्री शिव चालीसा, 108 दाने की रुद्राक्ष की माला, बेलपत्र, माता अन्नपूर्णा से भिक्षाटन करते भोले बाबा की छवि अंकित सिक्का, भभूति, रक्षा सूत्र, रुद्राक्ष मनका, मेवा, मिश्री का पैकेट इत्यादि शामिल हैं। सूखा होने के कारण यह प्रसाद लम्बे समय तक उपयोग में बना रहता है।

वाराणसी पूर्वी मंडल के प्रवर डाकघर अधीक्षक श्री राम निवास ने बताया कि, डाक विभाग ने इस बात के भी प्रबंध किए हैं कि, भक्तों को मोबाइल नंबर पर स्पीड पोस्ट का विवरण एस.एम.एस के माध्यम से मिलेगा। इसके लिए भक्तों को ई-मनीऑर्डर में अपना पूरा पता, पिन कोड और मोबाइल नंबर  लिखना अनिवार्य होगा।
