हिंदी सिर्फ भाषा ही नहीं, एक संस्कृति है

हिंदी पखवाड़ा के समापन अवसर पर विशेश्वरगंज स्थित वाराणसी प्रधान डाकघर और कैंट प्रधान डाकघर  में एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम के आरंभ में मुख्य अतिथि इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव का प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक श्री शिव सहाय मिश्रा ने स्वागत किया और हिंदी पखवाड़ा के दौरान आयोजित कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा पर प्रकाश डाला। 

 इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने इस अवसर पर अपने सम्बोधन में कहा कि हिंदी सिर्फ एक भाषा ही नहीं बल्कि एक संस्कृति है जो समूचे देश को जोड़ती है और विविधता में एकता की संकल्पना को परिलक्षित करती है। हिंदी को यदि राजभाषा का संवैधानिक दर्जा दिया गया है तो उसके पीछे इसके समृद्ध ऐतिहासिक विरासत एवं स्वत्रतंत्रता आदोलन में प्रखर भूमिका रही है। डाक निदेशक श्री यादव ने कहा कि हिन्दी को संस्कृत शब्द-संपदा एवं नवीन शब्द रचना सामथ्र्य विरासत में मिली है। वह देशी भाषाओं एवं अपनी बोलियों के साथ-साथ अन्य भाषाओं से भी शब्द लेने में संकोच नहीं करती। यही कारण है कि अंग्रेजी के मूल शब्द लगभग 10,000 हैं, जबकि हिन्दी के मूल शब्दों की संख्या ढाई लाख से भी अधिक है। ऐसे में हिंदी का महत्व सर्वविदित है।

  प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक वााराणसी (पूर्व) मंडल श्री शिव सहाय मिश्रा ने कहा कि हिंदी पखवाड़े का आयोजन का उद्देश्य सिर्फ हिंदी की चिंता के लिए नहीं होता बल्कि इसकी उन्नति व प्रगति कैसी हो इसे भी संज्ञान में लेने की आवश्यकता है। इसी क्रम में डाक अधीक्षक वाराणसी (पश्चिम) मंडल श्री आर॰एन॰यादव ने अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों का आहवान किया कि सरकारी कार्य में हिंदी को बढ़ावा देने के लिए दिल से कार्य करें ताकि हिंदी को जो राष्ट्रभाषा का दर्जा दिया गया है वह सही मायने में प्राप्त हो सकें। सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर, प्रधान डाकघर वाराणसी श्री हर गोविन्द वर्मा ने कहा कि हिंदी पूरे देश को जोड़ने वाली भाषा है और सरकारी कामकाज में भी इसे बहुतायत में अपनाया जाना चाहिये। 

इस अवसर पर अधीक्षक डाकघर पश्चिम मण्डल आर0एन0यादव तथा प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक, वाराणसी (पूर्व) मण्डल वाराणसी शिव सहाय मिश्र द्वारा निदेशक डाक सेवाएं कृष्ण कुमार यादव, को उनके हिन्दी साहित्य में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए शाल व स्मृति चिन्ह देकर सारस्वत सम्मानित किया गया.साथ ही, हिन्दी साहित्य सृजन कार्य में उल्लेखनीय योगदान के लिए गाय घाट उपडाकघर के पोस्टमास्टर केशव शरण, कार्यालय सहायक  मुरली मनोहर एवं डाक सहायक  गणेश प्रसाद ‘गम्भीर’ को हिन्दी साहित्य में उनके योगदान हेतु निदेशक डाक सेवाएं कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने शाल ओढ़ाकर व स्मृति चिन्ह देकर सारस्वत सम्मानित किया ।

निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने इस अवसर पर हिंदी पखवाड़ा के दौरान मंडलीय कार्यालय एवं वाराणसी प्रधान डाकघर में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के विजेताओं को सम्मानित भी किया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन श्री गणेश प्रसाद ‘गम्भीर’ द्वारा किया गया।  

Exhibitions mark conclusion of 'Hindi Pakhwara'

ALLAHABAD: The Hindi Pakhwara concluded with a programme organised at Allahabad GPO, Civil Lines on Saturday. Rahmatullah, senior superintendant of Post Offices, Allahabad division, welcomed the chief guest, Krishna Kumar Yadav, director Postal Services, Allahabad region and briefed about the programme.

Addressing the gathering, Yadav urged the officers and employees to encourage the use of Hindi in government work so that its status of national language could reflect in true spirit.

He further added that Hindi is the most organised language and Devanagari script is the most scientific script. Hindi is inherited from the great vocabulary of Sanskrit and also has a virtue of creation of new words by accepting words from all dialects and foreign languages, he said. "This is the reason behind 2 lakh 50 thousand words in Hindi vocabulary against 10,000 words in that of English," he added.

Rahamtullah said that the celebration of Hindi Pakhwara was not for worrying about the Hindi language but to think about its growth and progress.

Senior postmaster, Allahabad HO, Madhusudan Prasad Mishra, said Hindi is a language which links different parts of the country and it should be adapted vastly in official working.

The chief guest also distributed prize among the winners of various Hindi competitions organised at head post office, Allahabad.

Progressive use of Hindi promotes National Unity and Integrity - Aprajita Sharma Atique

Director of Accounts (Postal), Lucknow celebrated Hindi fort-night from 14/09/2013 to 27/09/2013 as a part of the programme to promote the use of Rajbhasha Hindi in official work.  The valedictory function of these celebrations was organized on 27^th September, 2013 at DPA Lucknow. At the outset, Mr. R.K. Pal (Rajbhasha cell) welcomed the gathering which was graced by the presence of Director Mrs. Aprajita Sharma Atique.

During this two weeks long celebrations the officers and staff used Hindi for their official work to the extent possible. Also various programmes in Hindi were organized to reiterate the importance of official language.

The celebrations included an essay competition, noting and drafting competition, General knowledge quiz, kids poem recitation competition and departmental “ kavya goshthi”. The winners of various competitions held were honoured by DPA. While addressing the gathering, Director praised the staff for participating in this event with great enthusiasm. She said that the National Language of any nation is not only significant as a tool of communication but it carries basic culture / values of the people of the Nation. She said that every citizen should respect the Nation, National Language, Culture and its basic values.

She also said that the progressive use of Hindi promotes National Unity and Integrity. Further she appealed all the employees to use Hindi in their day to day work as per the policy of the Government of India.

The function was concluded by Mr. R.K. Pal with vote of thanks.

Hindi is not just a language but also a symbol of cultural heritage - Krishna Kumar Yadav

A programme was organized in Varanasi cantt Head Post Office on the occasion of Hindi Pakhwara on 24 Sept. 2013 . In the beginning of the programme, Sri S.S. Mishra, Sr Sudpt of Post Offices Varanasi (East) Dn. and Shri RN Yadav, Supdt. of Post Offices welcomed Chief Guest Sri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region and briefed about the programme organized during Hindi Pakhwara.

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad region said that Hindi is our mother tongue and one should not connect it with Pakhwara only. He said that Hindi is not just a language but also a symbol of cultural heritage, who is uniting languages across the country and had played an important role in emotional unity and promotion of cultural diversity of the country.

Mr. Yadav further added that Hindi is inherited with the great vocabulary of Sanskrit and also have a virtue of new word creation.  It accepts words from all dialects and foreign languages. This is the reason behind 2 lakh 50 thousand words in Hindi vocabulary against 10,000 words in that of English. In this way significance of Hindi is well-known.

   At last Prizes were distrubuted by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services among the winner officials of various Hindi competitions. At the same time, Shri Keshav Sharan, Sri Murali Manohar and Sri Ganesh Prasad 'Gambir' PA Varanasi HPO were awarded  for their contribution to Hindi literature. 

Hindi has the caliber to become a global language - Krishna Kumar Yadav

A seminar on the topic “Role of Hindi in changing environments” and felicitation programme, to award winners of various competitions held during the fortnight, was organized on 20 September, 13 in the office of Postmaster General Allahabad. Chief Guest of the programme, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region and himself a litterateur, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said in his address that- Hindi has a very significant role in keeping intact Indian Culture. Today, if we want to popularize the use of Hindi and develop it as a global language then the need of the hour is to assimilate Hindi in our day to day life and not use it only in programme.

Speaking about “Role of Hindi in changing environments” Postal Director Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that Hindi has all the caliber to become a global language, and today more than 150 universities are teaching Hindi as a language.  Now books in Hindi are available in almost all fields of study, trend of regional newspapers has grown, number of websites in Hindi is also increasing on internet, many companies of Information Technology have started project in Hindi. Information in Hindi is being searched indiscriminately using Google. Mr. Yadav said that earlier their was lack of uniformity in Hindi due to use of various fonts, but after arrival of Unicode for Hindi in 2003, expansion and use of Hindi gained momentum. He also said that in this age of internet, along with publication of e-versions of Hindi books, a number of Hindi papers and magazines are publishing their e-versions. This has immensely helped Hindi in gaining new dimensions as a language and literature.

Presiding over the programme as chairman Senior Superintendent of Post offices Mr. Rahmatullah, said that Hindi is our mother tongue and official language, and to ensure its wide reach to the people, its use on technological level is required.

In the beginning of the programme Mr. T. B. Singh, Assistant Director (Official Language) expressed his joy that Director Postal Services Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav himself is a renowned writer and litterateur of Hindi language, as such we have his able guidance and support to promote use of Hindi in Department of Posts. He further said that Hindi is our mother tongue, and we should respect it and use it widely in our daily life. Assistant Superintendent of Posts Mr. Vinay Kumar said that we need to increase the use of Hindi not only as a language but also increase its applicability. Inspector of Posts Mr. A. K. Singh said that other than the language of literature Hindi is also a language of common conversation, and we need to promote it in its simplifies form.

On this occasion a number of officials expressed their views, including Deepak Kumar, VineetTandon, Vikram Singh, Ms. Laxmi. Vote of thanks was given by Assistant Director-III Mr. Tej Bahadur Singh and proceeding of the programme was conducted by Mr. Brijesh Kumar Sharma, Inspector of Posts.

On this occasion Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services felicitated the winners of various competitions held during the Hindi fortnight. Which include VineetTandon, Rajendra Prasad, Jagdish Kushwaha in Typing Competition; Ajay Prakash, R. K. Srivastava, Swapan Kumar for Essay competition; JagdishKushwaha, Ijlesh Kumar, Rambahadur for Hindi slogan respectively for first, second and third positions.

भारतीय संस्कृति को अक्षुण्ण रखने में हिंदी का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान

हिन्दी-पखवाड़ा के अवसर पर पोस्टमास्टर जनरल, इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र कार्यालय में ’’बदलते परिवेश में हिन्दी की भूमिका’’ विषय पर एक संगोष्ठी एवं विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत करने का कार्यक्रम 20 सितम्बर 13 को आयोजित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं एवं चर्चित ब्लागर व साहित्यकार कृष्ण कुमार यादव उपस्थित थे। कार्यक्रम के आंरभ में प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक, इलाहाबाद मंडल श्री रहमतउल्लाह ने श्री यादव का शाल ओढ़ाकर व स्मृति चिन्ह देकर स्वागत किया।

इस अवसर पर निदेशक डाक सेवाएं कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने अपने उद्बोधन में कहा कि - भारतीय संस्कृति को अक्षुण्ण रखने में हिंदी का बहुत बड़ा योगदान है। जरूरत इस बात की है कि हम इसके प्रचार-प्रसार और विकास के क्रम में आयोजनों से परे अपनी दैनिक दिनचर्या से भी जोड़ें।

’’बदलते परिवेश में हिन्दी की भूमिका’’ पर डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि हिंदी में वैश्विक भाषा बनने की पूरी क्षमता है और आज 150 से अधिक विश्वविद्यालयों में हिन्दी पढ़ाई जा रही है। विज्ञान-प्रौद्योगिकी से लेकर तमाम विषयों पर हिन्दी की किताबें अब उपलब्ध हैं, क्षेत्रीय अखबारों का प्रचलन बढ़ा है, इण्टरनेट पर हिन्दी की बेबसाइटों में बढ़ोत्तरी हो रही है, सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी क्षेत्र की कई कम्पनियों ने हिन्दी भाषा में परियोजनाएं आरम्भ की हैं । गूगल से हिन्दी में जानकारियाँ धड़ल्ले से खोजी जा रही हैं। श्री यादव ने कहा कि पहले जहाँ तमाम फाण्ट के चलते हिन्दी का स्वरूप एक जैसा नहीं दिखता था, वहीं वर्ष 2003 में यूनीकोड हिंदी में आया और इसके माध्यम से हिन्दी को अपने विस्तार में काफी सुलभता हासिल हुई। उन्होंने  कहा कि इंटरनेट के इस दौर में महत्वपूर्ण हिन्दी किताबों के ई प्रकाशन के साथ-साथ तमाम हिन्दी पत्र-पत्रिकाएं भी अपना ई-संस्करण जारी कर रही हैं, जिससे वैश्विक स्तर पर  हिन्दी भाषा व साहित्य को नए आयाम मिले हैं। श्री यादव ने हिंदी-दिवस की आलोचना करने वालों को आड़े हाथ लेते हुए कहा कि, जब लोग जन्मदिन मनाते हैं, नवरात्र मनाते हैं, अष्टमी-पूजन करते हैं तो फिर सवाल नहीं उठता। लेकिन जब  हिंदी को लेकर उत्सव मनते हों तो लोग कहते हैं यह खाना-पूर्ति है, इस सोच से बाहर निकलने की जरुरत है।

कार्यक्रम की  अध्यक्षता कर रहे प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक, इलाहाबाद मंडल श्री रहमतउल्लाह ने कहा कि हिंदी हमारी मातृ भाषा के साथ-साथ राजभाषा भी है और लोगों तक पहुँच स्थापित करने के लिए टेक्नॅालाजी स्तर पर इसका व्यापक प्रयोग करने की जरूरत है। 

कार्यक्रम के आरंभ में अपने सम्बोधन में सहायक निदेशक (हिंदी) टी. बी. सिंह ने इस बात पर प्रसन्नता जाहिर कि निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव स्वयं हिन्दी के सम्मानित लेखक और साहित्यकार हैं, ऐसे में डाक विभाग में राजभाषा हिन्दी के प्रति लोगों को प्रवृत्त करने में उनका पूरा मार्गदर्शन मिल रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि राजभाषा हिंदी अपनी मातृभाषा है, इसलिए इसका सम्मान करना चाहिए और बहुतायत में प्रयोग करना चाहिए। 

सहायक डाक अधीक्षक विनय कुमार ने कहा कि हिंदी को भाषा के साथ-साथ प्रयोजनीयता से भी जोड़ने की जरूरत है। डाक निरीक्षक ए. के. सिंह ने कहा कि, हिंदी साहित्य के साथ-साथ बोलचाल की भी भाषा है अतः इसे सरलीकरण रूप में आगे बढ़ाने की जरूरत है। 

इस अवसर पर डाक निरीक्षक दीपक कुमार, विनीत टन्डन, पंकज मौर्य, विक्रम सिंह, कु0 लक्ष्मी सहित तमाम कर्मचारियों ने अपने विचार व्यक्त किये। कार्यक्रम में स्वागत भाषण सहायक निदेशक (राज भाषा) श्री टी बी सिंह आभार सहायक निदेशक तृतीय श्री तेज बहादुर सिंह व कार्यक्रम का संचालन श्री बृजेश कुमार शर्मा, निरीक्षक डाक द्वारा किया गया। 

इस अवसर पर निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने हिंदी पखवाड़े के दौरान आयोजित प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को सम्मानित भी किया। इनमें टंकण प्रतियोगिता में सर्वश्री विनीत टन्डन, राजेन्द्र प्रसाद, जगदीश कुशवाहा, निबन्ध प्रतियोगिता में अजय प्रकाश, स्वप्न कुमार, आर के श्रीवास्तव व हिंदी स्लोगन में जगदीश कुशवाहा, इजलेश कुमार, रामबहादुर ने क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया।

Project Arrow aims to give Post Offices a makeover

With the purpose to create awareness among the Postmasters of Project Arrow Post Offices about new technologies, changing work-scenario and to enhance their understanding about Customer-care a one-day workshop was organised on 8^th September, 2013 at Civil lines Allahabad GPO for Allahabad Division. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region. The workshop was attended by 73 Postmasters and Assistant Superintendents of Posts Offices/ Inspector of Post Offices, who were updated about the latest and upcoming changes and new postal services through Power Point Presentation.

   While addressing the programme as Chief Guest Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region said that “Project arrow” is a very ambitious project of Department of Posts with a objective of changing the image of Post offices in all aspects. He added that department is emphasizing on its core service i.e. prompt delivery under “project arrow”. This project covers delivery and dispatch of all type of mails whether it is ordinary, Registered, Money orders, Speed post Articles is being ensured on the same day; Timely clearance of Letter Boxes; rationalization of delivery Beat and dense monitoring of delivery to make it more effective. Similarly the Savings Bank work is also being computerized completely to avoid delay caused of manual working. Director Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav also told that all the Post offices of Urban as well as rural area will soon be a part of “Core Banking Solution” and the depositors of Post office will be able to take advantage of facilities like Net-banking, Mobile banking and ATM. It will be a revolutionary step in the field of banking.

Director Postal Services Sri Krishna Kumar Yadav addressed Postmasters and told them that their activities in field create an image of department, so they have to be more courteous and responsive for customer. In this era of competition we just cannot sit idle to earn business instead of that we have to approach customers, we have to interact with them about our services and to make them aware of our different services, by this way only we can reach to our goal.

Mr. Yadav appealed to the Postmasters to ensure opening of at least one savings deposit/ recurring deposit account in each family through special drive. He also asked them to increase number of Postal Life Insurance and Rural Postal Life Insurance policies by organizing Dak-Melas in the campus of Government and semi Govt departments.

Sr. Superintendent of Post Offices, Allahabad Dn. Mr. Rahmatullah said that all the postal services are being monitored regularly under project arrow scheme and the improvement caused of it will definitely be helpful to the customers for getting modernized services of postal department. The work of branch offices located in remote areas will be more transparent in account with the post offices transformed under project arrow.

On this occasion a number of officers and employee including Mr. T.B. Singh Asst. Director, Mr. M.P. Mishra Sr. Postmaster Allahabad GPO, Mr. Deepak Kumar Inspector Posts (Project Arrow), Mr. R. N. Yadav ASP (HQ) Allahabad Dn. etc. were present.

पोस्टमास्टरों को फील्ड में ग्राहकों के प्रति ज्यादा संवेदनशील होने की जरुरत - डाक निदेशक कृष्ण कुमार यादव

इलाहाबाद मंडल के प्रोजेक्ट ऐरो डाकघरों के पोस्टमास्टरों  को डाक विभाग में नित हो रहे परिवर्तनों से रूबरू कराने के लिए एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन 8 सितम्बर को सिविल लाइंस स्थित इलाहाबाद जीपीओ में किया गया। कार्यशाला का उद्घाटन इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवायें श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने किया। इस अवसर पर कुल 73 पोस्टमास्टर और सहायक डाक अधीक्षकों/डाक निरीक्षकों ने कार्यशाला में भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर विभिन्न डाक सेवाओं के बारे में पावर प्वाइंट द्वारा प्रस्तुति देकर पोस्टमास्टरों  को अद्यतन व प्रोत्साहित किया गया।

    कार्यशाला का उद्घाटन करते हुए मुख्य अतिथि इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवायें श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि प्रोजेक्ट ऐरो डाक विभाग की एक महत्वाकांक्षी परियोजना है, जिसका लक्ष्य डाकघरों का चेहरा पूर्णरूप से बदलना है। प्रोजेक्ट एरो के माध्यम से डाक विभाग अपनी मूल सेवा डाक वितरण पर विशेष रूप से जोर दे रहा है। डाक वितरण के तहत प्राप्ति के दिन ही सभी प्रकार की डाक चाहे वह साधारण, पंजीकृत, स्पीड पोस्ट या मनीआर्डर हो का उसी दिन शतप्रतिशत वितरण व डिस्पैच, लेटर बाक्सों की समुचित निकासी और डाक को उसी दिन की डाक में शामिल करना, डाक बीटों के पुनर्निर्धारण द्वारा वितरण को और प्रभावी बनाना एवं डाक वितरण की प्रतिदिन मानीटरिंग द्वारा इसे और भी प्रभावी बनाया जा रहा है। इसी प्रकार बचत बैंक सेवाओं  को पूर्णतया कम्प्यूटराइज्ड कर उनकी शतप्रतिशत डाटा फीडिंग और सिगनेचर स्कैनिंग भी कराई जा रही है, ताकि मैनुअली ढंग से कार्य संपादित करने पर होने वाली देरी से बचा जा सके। डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि शीघ्र ही डाकघरों को सीबीएस से जोड़ा जा रहा है। जिससे सिर्फ शहरों ही नहीं बल्कि ग्रामीण स्तर तक बैंकिग क्षेत्रों में क्रांतिकारी कदम का सूत्रपात होगा और डाकघरों के खाताधारक नेटबैंकिग, मोबाइल बैंकिंग एवं एटीएम सुविधाओं का लाभ उठा सकेंगे ।

निदेशक डाक सेवायें श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने पोस्टमास्टरों   से रूबरू होते हुए कहा कि फील्ड में उनकी कार्य गतिविधियाँ ही विभाग के प्रति अवधारणा (इमेज) बनाती हैं, ऐसे में उन्हें ग्राहकों के प्रति ज्यादा संवेदनशील होने की जरुरत है। आज के प्रतियोगी दौर में यह सोचना कि  मात्र काउंटर पर सेवाएँ देकर जनता को आकर्षित किया जा सकता है, उचित नहीं है। ज्यादा राजस्व के लिए हमें खुद लोगों के पास जाना होगा, नियमित संवाद स्थापित करते हुए उन्हें सेवाओं और गुणवत्ता के बारे में जागरूक करना होगा, तभी लक्ष्यों की प्राप्ति हो सकेगी।

श्री यादव ने विशेष अभियान चलकर हर घर में एक बचत/आवर्ती  खाता खोलने पर जोर दिया। उन्होंने सरकारी-अर्धसरकारी विभागों में डाक  मेले लगाकर ”डाक जीवन बीमा” और ”ग्रामीण डाक जीवन बीमा” की लक्ष्य प्राप्ति पर भी जोर दिया।

  इलाहाबाद मंडल के प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर श्री रहतमउल्लाह ने कहा कि प्रोजेक्ट ऐरो के तहत डाक सेवाओं की नियमित मानीटरिंग की जा रही है और इनके उन्नयन से जनता को काफी सहूलियत होगी एवं उन्हें डाक विभाग की आधुनिक सेवाओं का लाभ मिल सकेगा। इन डाकघरों के प्रोजेक्ट एरो के अन्तर्गत कायाकल्प होने के साथ ही दूर-दराज ग्रामीण अंचलों में इसके लेखान्तर्गत स्थित शाखा डाकघरों की कार्यप्रणाली में भी काफी पारदर्शिता आयेगी।

   इस अवसर पर सहायक निदेशक श्री टी बी सिंह, इलाहाबाद जीपीओ के सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर मधुसुदन प्रसाद मिश्र, डाक निरीक्षक (प्रोजेक्ट ऐरो) दीपक कुमार सहायक डाक अधीक्षक (मुख्यालय) आर एन यादव सहित तमाम अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी गण उपस्थित थे। 

Blogger couple set to receive international award

NET savvy Krishna Kumar Yadav and his wife Akanksha have been contributing to literature through blogging for years now Last year the couple was awarded by the CM with ‘awadh samman’ for new mdeia blogging and ‘blogger of the decade’ award

ALLAHABAD: The net savvy couple Krishna Kumar Yadav and his wife akanksha Yadav who have carved a nicha in new media of creativity – blogging – have been selected for International awards ‘Parikalpana Sahitya Samman’ and ‘Parikalpana Blog Vibhusan Award’ respectively by Parikalpana Group for their contributions to literature through blogging.

The coveted awards would be conferred on them during the ‘International Blogging Conference’ to be held on September 13-14 in Rajbhawan at Kathmandu, Nepal.

KK Yadav is employed as director postal services in Allahabad region. Last year the couple was awarded by chief minister Akhilesh Yadav with ‘Awadh Samman’ for new media blogging and ‘Blogger of the decade’ award on completion of 10 years of Hindi Blogging.

“I entered the field of blogging in 2008 with ‘Shabd Srijan Ki Or’ and ‘Dakia Dak Laya’ while Akansha started blogging with ‘Shabd Shikhar’ in the same year. Within months, we started receiving response from people across the globe,” said KK Yadav.

The couple’s blogs have also motivated a number of people to enter the field of blogging and provide new dimension to Hindi blogging through their literary creativity.

“My blogs focus on social issues, heart touching poems and informative research articles whereas those of Akanksha touch the issues relating to women, child welfare and society and her creations reflect women empowerment,” added Yadav.

The creations of this couple are published regularly in various reputed papers, magazines and on internet in web magazines. Six books of Krishna Kumar Yadav have also been published, which include collections of poetry and essays, a book on 150-years of India Post and non-fictional work, ‘Krantiyagya: 1857-1947 ki Gatha’. A children book, ‘Jungle me cricket’ is also authored by Yadav.

A creation of Akanksha – ‘Chaand par pani’ – has been published. “It is a proud moment for me and my family members. I started writing glogs to express my literary creativity and am happy that now my blogs are being viewed by hundreds of readers from across the globe,” said Akansha Yadav.

 A number of national as well as international bloggers are expected to be present in this conference to discuss social aspects of new media such as blog, website, webportal and social networking sites.

The couple’s daoughter Akshitaa (Pakhi) was in 2011 awarded ‘Best baby blogger’ award for her glog ‘Pakhi ki duniy’ and is also the youngest ‘National Child Award winner’ of India.

India Post offers designer envelope for Rakhi

ALLAHABAD: The Postal department has launched designer envelopes to ensure fast and safe delivery of rakhis, symbolic of girl's love for her brother. These water resistant envelopes are available in various designs and are also resistant to wear and tear.

Director, postal services of Allahabad region, Krishna Kumar Yadav said that these envelopes available in sixes of 11 cm x 22 cm were priced at Rs 7, excluding postage charges.

As these envelopes have been especially designed for the purpose, they are light-weighted and address can be printed or written on it easily. "India Post logo is printed on the upper left portion of these envelopes with Rakhi inscribed in English. The envelopes have a special peel for easy seal and as such there is no need for gum or adhesives. Their special designs will help in sorting and the receiver will also be happy to receive them," he said.

These envelopes are already on sale in GPO and would be made available at all post offices across the region in the next couple of days.

Meanwhile, the department has made special arrangements for Rakshabandhan. Mr. KK Yadav said that department has made arrangements to separate Rakhi Mail from ordinary one. Specific letter boxes and collection boxes have been installed in post offices. Rakhis posts dropped in these boxes are being cleared the same day through special bags to ensure timely delivery. Besides, special labels will be posted on Rakhi envelopes for their prompt delivery. This arrangement will be available up to August 20.

Retired postal official’s ode to love

DIBAI, BULANDSHAHR DISTRICT: Kaesar Kala in Dibai is now famous for its own modern-day Shah Jahan, Faizul Hasan Qadari. A retired postal assistant, Qadari is building a replica of the Taj Mahal in memory of his late wife, Tajamulli Begum, in this small village in UP's Bulandshahr district. 

"My wife did not ask me to build a Taj Mahal for her. In fact, she had never seen it but I wanted to do something for her," said Qadari, 78, of the 5,500-sq-ft memorial that he is constructing on his two-acre farm. "Since we didn't have kids, she used to say that when we die, nobody will remember us. So after she passed away in 2011, I thought I would construct this tomb. People in the village will never forget us." 

The replica, which he has named 'Yaadgaar', has been designed by Qadari. He had seen the original on a visit to Agra for a training programme in 1974, and from a picture on the cover of a guidebook he bought then, he and a local mason are today copying the structure in white marble replica stone. "I did approach an architect in Aligarh last year to help me. He charged Rs 3,000 but I didn't like his drawings. After that I used the guidebook that I have since my training days," Qadari said. It's a grueling task, and they have made mistakes. "The dome had to be reconstructed as it was tilting on the right side," he revealed. 

Qadari has invested his entire savings of Rs 9.3 lakh in the project, but four months ago, work had to be stopped due to lack of funds. "Whatever I had has been put into it, and I had to sell my wife's jewellery also. People have offered me loans but what will I tell my wife in the afterlife, that I constructed it for her using loaned money? Never," said Qadari, who is now saving his Rs 9,000 monthly pension to restart the project. "By next year, I'm hopeful of saving Rs 50,000 to buy more stone." 

Ask about his wife and Qadari lights up, and shows her photos. "Ours was an arranged marriage but I fell in love with her the moment we were married. We spent a good 58 years together and all the while she supported me," Qadari said. Living alone today, he turns to poetry to express his feelings and even sleeps with his wife's tombstone that has a couplet written by him, which reads, 'Na koi Sheesh Mahal hai, na koi Taj Mahal hai, hai Yaadgaar-e-Mohabbat, yeh pyaar ka mahal hai'. "Once the tomb is ready, this tombstone will be fixed," he said, revealing that in the meantime, people from the village are using the memorial as a recreational spot. "They dirty the place and it's difficult to keep it clean. I try to shush them away but my old legs don't work the way they used to," said Qadari, who has reserved the grave next to his wife for himself. 

Coping with pain in his knees, he finds it difficult to stand for long. But he wakes up every day looking at 'Yaadgaar' from his bedroom window. "I have told everyone that when I die, I have to be buried next to my wife, inside the structure," he concluded.

डाकघरों को नये नेटवर्क से जोड़कर बनाया जायेगा और उन्नत : कृष्ण कुमार यादव

डाक विभाग के अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को डाक परिचालन में नित हो रहे परिवर्तनों से रूबरू कराने के लिए एक दिवसीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन दिनांक 04 अगस्त 2013 दिन रविवार को वाराणसी कैंट प्रधान डाकघर में किया गया। कार्यशाला का उदघाटन इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवायें श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने किया । इस अवसर पर वाराणसी पूर्वी व पश्चिमी डाक मण्डल एवं रेल डाक सेवा वाराणसी के कर्मचारियों ने कार्यशाला में भाग लिया। कार्यशाला में मेल नेटवर्क अनुकूलन परियोजना के बारे में पावर प्वाइंट प्रेजेंटेसन द्वारा प्रस्तुति देकर डाक अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को अद्यतन किया गया।

            मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवायें श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डाक विभाग का मूल आधार डाक सेवाएं हैं । डाक का स्वरुप भले ही बदला हो, पर डाक आज भी कम नहीं हुई है। आने वाला दौर पार्सल पोस्ट, लाजिस्टिक पोस्ट, व ई-कॉमर्स का है, एवं डाक विभाग इस और कदम बढ़ा चूका है। डाक सेवाओं को हाई-टेक टेक्नोलॉजी से जोड़कर ई-पोस्ट, व ट्रैक एंड ट्रेस आधारित स्पीड नेट, आर-नेट जैसी सेवाएं दी जा रही हैं। इसी प्रकार सामान्य मनीआर्डर को इलेक्ट्रॉनिक मनीआर्डर व इंस्टेंट मनीआर्डर के रूप में लोगों ने ज्यादा सराहा है। श्री यादव ने कहा कि भारतीय डाक विभाग ने आमजनों द्वारा प्रयोग की जाने वाली डाक सेवाओं जैसे कि स्पीड पोस्ट, रजिस्टर्ड पोस्ट आदि के  प्रसंस्करण, पारेषण और वितरण में अभूतपूर्व परिवर्तन कर इनकी गुणवत्ता सुधारने हेतु मेल नेटवर्क अनुकूलन परियोजना परियोजना शुरू की है ।

प्रोजेक्ट ऐरो एवं मेल नेटवर्क अनुकूलन परियोजना के तहत डाक सेवाओं की नियमित मानीटरिंग की जा रही है और डाकघरों का चेहरा भी ’लुक और फील’ के तहत परिवर्तित किया जा रहा है। डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डाक विभाग की आधुनिकीकरण परियोजना के अंतर्गत कई डाकघरों ने नए नेटवर्क पर काम करना शुरू कर दिया है । सिफी व बी एस एन एल द्वारा उपलब्ध कराये जा रहे इस नेटवर्क द्वारा शहरों ही नही बल्कि ग्रामीण डाकघरों में भी निर्बाध इंटरनेट कनेक्टिविटी उपलब्ध होगी ।आने वाले दिनों में क्रमवार सभी डाकघरों को प्रोजेक्ट ऐरो के तहत जोड़कर नई टेक्नोलाजी एवं सीबीएस जैसी सुविधाओं से आच्छादित करते हुये और भी हाई-टेक बनाया जायेगा।

                                   

            निदेशक डाक सेवायें श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने सहायक डाक अधीक्षकों/डाक निरीक्षकों का आहवान किया कि वे अपने क्षेत्रों में डाक वितरण एवं सम्प्रेषण की उचित मानीटरिंग करें एवं यह सुनिश्चितय करें कि सभी डाकघर स्पीड पोस्ट व रजिस्टर्ड पोस्ट हेतु बनाए गए विभागीय सॉफ्टवेर पर कार्य करें। उन्होने कर्मचारियों से कहा कि वे नई तकनीकी के हिसाब से अपने को तैयार करें ताकि वे अपनी सर्वोत्तम सेवा देकर विभाग की सेवाओं का व्यापक क्रियान्यावन कर उन्हें आमजन तक पहुचाने में सहयोग दें सकें।

            इस अवसर पर उत्कृष्ट कार्य करने वाले डाककर्मियों को निदेशक डाक सेवायें श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने सम्मानित भी किया। इस अवसर पर प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर श्री शिव सहाय मिश्रा, डाक अधीक्षक श्री आर० एन० यादव, पोस्टमास्टर श्री एस० के० पाण्डेय,  सहायक अधीक्षक आर० सी० राम, आशीष श्रीवास्तव, निरीक्षक दीपक कुमार, बृजेश शर्मा, आर के श्रीवास्तव सहित तमाम अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी गण उपस्थित थे।

डाक-मुंशी के पुत्र रहे प्रेमचन्द ने लिखी साहित्य-जगत में नई इबारत

हिन्दी साहित्य के इतिहास में उपन्यास सम्राट के रूप में अपनी पहचान बना चुके प्रेमचंद का वास्तविक नाम धनपत राय श्रीवास्तव था. वह एक कुशल लेखक, जिम्मेदार संपादक और संवेदशील रचनाकार थे. प्रेमचंद का जन्म 31 जुलाई, 1880 को वाराणसी से लगभग चार मील दूर लमही नामक ग्राम में हुआ था. इनका संबंध एक गरीब कायस्थ परिवार से था. इनकी माता का नाम आनन्दी देवी था. इनके पिता अजायब राय श्रीवास्तव डाकमुंशी के रूप में कार्य करते थे.ऐसे में प्रेमचंद का डाक-परिवार से अटूट सम्बन्ध था.

जब प्रेमचंद के पिता गोरखपुर में डाकमुंशी के पद पर कार्य कर रहे थे उसी समय गोरखपुर में रहते हुए ही उन्होंने अपनी पहली रचना लिखी. यह रचना एक अविवाहित मामा से सम्बंधित थी जिसका प्रेम एक छोटी जाति की स्त्री से हो गया था. वास्तव में कहानी के मामा कोई और नहीं प्रेमचंद के अपने मामा थे, जो प्रेमचंद को उपन्यासों पर समय बर्बाद करने के लिए निरन्तर डांटते रहते थे. मामा से बदला लेने के लिए ही प्रेमचंद ने उनकी प्रेम-कहानी को रचना में उतारा. हालांकि प्रेमचंद की यह प्रथम रचना उपलब्ध नहीं है, क्योंकि उनके मामा ने क्रुद्ध होकर पांडुलिपि को अग्नि को समर्पित कर दिया था.

प्रेमचंद बचपन से ही काफी खुद्दार रहे. 1920 का दौर... गाँधी जी के रूप में इस देश ने एक ऐसा नेतृत्व पा लिया था, जो सत्य के आग्रह पर जोर देकर स्वतन्त्रता हासिल करना चाहता था। ऐसे ही समय में गोरखपुर में एक अंग्रेज स्कूल इंस्पेक्टर जब जीप से गुजर रहा था तो अकस्मात एक घर के सामने आराम कुर्सी पर लेटे, अखबार पढ़ रहे एक अध्यापक को देखकर जीप रूकवा ली और बडे़ रौब से अपने अर्दली से उस अध्यापक को बुलाने को कहा । पास आने पर उसी रौब से उसने पूछा-‘‘तुम बडे़ मगरूर हो। तुम्हारा अफसर तुम्हारे दरवाजे के सामने से निकल जाता है और तुम उसे सलाम भी नहीं करते।’’ उस अध्यापक ने जवाब दिया-‘‘मैं जब स्कूल में रहता हूँ तब मैं नौकर हूँ, बाद में अपने घर का बादशाह हूँ।’’अपने घर का बादशाह यह शख्सियत कोई और नहीं, वरन् उपन्यास सम्राट प्रेमचंद थे, जो उस समय गोरखपुर में गवर्नमेन्ट नार्मल स्कूल में सहायक अध्यापक के पद पर कार्यरत थे।

प्रेमचंद बहुमुखी प्रतिभा संपन्न साहित्यकार थे. उनकी रचनाओं में तत्कालीन इतिहास की झलक साफ दिखाई देती है. यद्यपि प्रेमचंद के कालखण्ड में भारत कई प्रकार की प्रथाओं और रिवाजों, जो समाज को छोटे-बड़े और ऊंच-नीच जैसे वर्गों में विभाजित करती है, से परिपूर्ण था इसीलिए उनकी रचनाओं में भी इनकी उपस्थिति प्रमुख रूप से शामिल होती है. प्रेमचंद का बचपन बेहद गरीबी और दयनीय हालातों में बीता. मां का चल बसना और सौतेली मां का बुरा व्यवहार उनके मन में बैठ गए थे. वह भावनाओं और पैसे के महत्व को समझते थे. इसीलिए कहीं ना कहीं उनकी रचनाएं इन्हीं मानवीय भावनाओं को आधार मे रखकर लिखे जाते थे. उन्होंने अपनी रचनाओं में जन साधारण की भावनाओं, परिस्थितियों और उनकी समस्याओं का मार्मिक चित्रण किया था. उनकी कृतियाँ भारत के सर्वाधिक विशाल और विस्तृत वर्ग की कृतियाँ हैं. इसके अलावा प्रेमचंद ने लियो टॉल्सटॉय जैसे प्रसिद्ध रचनाकारों के कृतियों का अनुवाद भी किया जो काफी लोकप्रिय रहा.

प्रेमचंद जी के पिता अजायब राय डाक-कर्मचारी थे, अत: प्रेमचंद जी अपने ही परिवार के हुए। आज उनकी जयंती पर शत-शत नमन। डाक-परिवार अपने ऐसे सपूतों पर गर्व करता है व उनका पुनीत स्मरण करता है।प्रेमचंद की स्मृति में भारतीय डाक विभाग की ओर से 31 जुलाई, 1980 को उनकी जन्मशती के अवसर पर 30 पैसे मूल्य का एक डाक टिकट भी जारी किया गया !!
