Government of India will provide one week training to senior officers in order to train senior civil servants and to implement the Prime Minister's 'Mission Karmayogi' scheme. For this, the name of Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, a senior officer of 2001 batch of Indian Postal Service and Postmaster General of Varanasi Region has also been selected, who will attend Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie for a week from 28 October to 2 November 2021. Along with this training, he will also study 'Global Energy and Climate Policy' from the University of London and 'Leading from the Emerging Future' from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, America. Senior officers of IAS, IPS and Central Civil Services of 2000 and 2001 batches are participating in this training, being organized under 'The Common Mid-Career Training Program, 2021-Leading to Learn'.
Significantly, on 2 September 2020, the 'Mission Karmayogi' scheme was launched by the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 'Mission Karmayogi' aims to prepare Indian Civil Servants for the future by making them more creative, imaginative, proactive, professional, progressive, energetic, competent, transparent and technology-enabled. Through this scheme, where there will be transparency in the system, at the same time, the philosophy of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayaas can also be realized with the cooperation of civil services and others.
