Department of Posts took out Tiranga bike rally for awareness of 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign

Under the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', Department of Posts took out a bike Tiranga rally in Varanasi on August 11 and launched public awareness campaign in various areas to motivate the people towards the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. The rally was flagged off by Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, Varanasi Region at Varanasi Cantt Head Post Office. More than 250 postal officials participated and motivated people to put up the national flag at their homes as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign. Along with loud proclamation of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga-Har Man Tiranga’, Bharat Mata ki Jai, Vande Mataram, ‘Daak vibhaag ne thaana hai-har ghar tiranga pahunchaana hai’, ‘Aapka Dost, India Post’, ‘Vijayee vishv tiranga pyaara-jhanda ooncha rahe hamaara’, this campaign of Postal Department reached Moolgandh Kuti Vihar, Sarnath via Cantt, Varuna bridge, Kachari, Pandeypur chauraha, Pahadia, Ashapur chauraha. On reaching Moolgandha Kuti Vihar, Sarnath, the Chief Priest of the place Shri Kev Katakandure Jinanand Thero also joined this campaign and appealed to the people to hoist the Tiranga at their home. On the way of the rally, the excited common public and children also raised slogans and expressed their enthusiasm towards the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.



Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that under the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign of 'Azadi Ka Mahotsav', the Department of Posts is working to take the collective consciousness of patriotism from door to door. Under this, 32 Prabhat Pheris and rallies have been taken out in Varanasi Region. About two lakh Tiangas have been sold from the post offices of Varanasi Region. Selfie points have been made in Head Post Offices to connect the young generation with this campaign. For wide publicity, while postmen are motivating people to hoist the Tiranga at their homes from August 13 to 15 while distributing mail in the area. A special campaign is also being run by the Department of Posts on social media as well.

In the bike Tiranga rally, Senior Superintendent of Posts Rajan Rao, Superintendent of Posts P.C. Tiwari, Assistant Director Dinesh Sah, Brijesh Sharma, Senior Postmaster C.S. Barua, Assistant Superintendent S.K. Chaudhary, R.K. Chauhan, M.R. Rashidi, Dilip Singh Yadav, Postal Inspectors Shrikant Pal, A. P. Goswami, Ramesh Yadav, Inderjit Pal, Cantt Postmaster Gopal Dubey, Sriprakash Gupta, Shravan Kumar Singh, Rajendra Yadav, Rakesh Kumar, Manju Mishra, Nikita, Manish Kumar, Vivek Kumar, Jagdish Chandra Sadeja, Bhupendra Kumar along with other postal officials participated in it.
