सावन में शिव आराधना की विशेष महिमा है। हर किसी की इच्छा होती है कि वह भगवान शिव के ज्योतिर्लिङ्ग स्वरूप का दर्शन और आशीर्वाद स्वरुप प्रसाद पा सके। परन्तु कुछ श्रद्धालु चाहकर भी दर्शन नहीं कर पाते। अब ऐसे श्रद्धालुओं को निराश होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। डाक विभाग की स्पीड पोस्ट सेवा के माध्यम से लोग देश के किसी भी कोने में घर बैठे गुजरात के जूनागढ़ जिला अंतर्गत प्रभास पाटन में स्थित श्री सोमनाथ आदि ज्योतिर्लिंग मंदिर का प्रसाद प्राप्त कर सकते हैं। सावन माह में डाक विभाग ने इसके लिए विशेष प्रबंध किये हैं। उक्त जानकारी हाल ही में वाराणसी से स्थानांतरित होकर गुजरात पहुँचे अहमदाबाद मुख्यालय परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने दी। सावन माह 22 जुलाई से आरम्भ हो रहा है।
पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि श्री सोमनाथ ट्रस्ट ने श्रद्धालुओं को घर बैठे प्रसाद उपलब्ध कराने हेतु भारतीय डाक विभाग से एक समझौता किया है। इस समझौते के तहत कोई भी श्रद्धालु मैनेजर, श्री सोमनाथ ट्रस्ट, प्रभास पाटन, जिला- जूनागढ़, गुजरात-362268 को ₹270 का ई-मनीऑर्डर भेजकर स्पीड पोस्ट द्वारा प्रसाद मँगा सकता है। इस ई-मनीऑर्डर पर "प्रसाद के लिए बुकिंग' अंकित करना होगा। तदोपरांत श्री सोमनाथ ट्रस्ट द्वारा द्वारा संबंधित श्रद्धालु को 400 ग्राम का प्रसाद का पैकेट स्पीड पोस्ट द्वारा भेजा जायेगा।
श्री सोमनाथ आदि ज्योतिर्लिंग मंदिर प्रसाद में शामिल वस्तुएं-
पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इस प्रसाद में 200 ग्राम बेसन लड्डू, 100 ग्राम तिल की चिक्की और 100 ग्राम मावा की चिक्की रहेगी। यह प्रसाद स्पीड पोस्ट के माध्यम से श्रद्धालु के घर पर शीघ्रता से वितरित किया जायेगा
'Prasad' of Shree Somnath temple via Speed Post now in the Sawan- Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav
There is a special magnificence of worshiping Lord Shiva in the holy month of Sawan. Everyone has a wish that he can have a glimpse of the Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and get his blessings. Now such devotees need not to be disappointed. Through the Speed Post service of the Department of Posts, people can get the offerings (Prasadam) of Shree Somnath Adi Jyotirlinga Temple located in Prabhas Patan, Junagadh, Gujarat, at their doorsteps sitting at home in any corner of the country. It is believed to be the first among the twelve jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. In the month of Sawan, Postal Department has made special arrangements for this. The above information was given by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of Ahmedabad Head Quarter Region, who was recently transferred from Varanasi.
Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that Shree Somnath Trust has entered into an agreement with the Postal Department to provide doorstep offerings to the devotees. Under this agreement, any devotee can order Prasad through Speed Post by making an e-Money Order of ₹270 to the Manager, Shree Somnath Trust, Prabhas Patan, District- Junagadh, Gujarat-362268. This e-money order will have to be marked as "Booking for Prasad". After that, a packet of 400 grams of Prasad will be sent by Speed Post to the concerned devotee by Shri Somnath Trust. Prasad will contain 200 grams Magas Laddoo, 100 grams of Sesame Chikki and 100 grams peanut Chikki. This Prasad will be promptly delivered at the doorstep of the devotee through Speed Post said Mr. Yadav.
