Department of Posts will organize Stamp Design Competition for 80th Anniversary of the United Nations UN@80 - Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav

संयुक्त राष्ट्र (यूएन) अक्टूबर 2025 में अपनी 80 वीं वर्षगाँठ मनाएगा। यूएन@80 के स्मृति कार्यक्रमों के तहत भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा विदेश मंत्रालय के सहयोग से डाक टिकट डिजाइन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि "बहुपक्षवाद, वैश्विक नेतृत्व और प्रबंधन के माध्यम से हमारे भविष्य के निर्माण में यूएन@80 और भारत की नेतृत्वकारी भूमिका" विषय पर कक्षा 9 से 12 तक के विद्यार्थी एवं आर्ट कॉलेज के विद्यार्थी डाक टिकट डिजाइन कर सकते हैं। यह प्रतियोगिता 1 जुलाई से 15 अगस्त, 2025 तक विभिन्न विद्यालयों और कॉलेज में डाक विभाग द्वारा आयोजित की जाएगी। कलाकृति ए4 आकार (200 जीएसएम) के सफेद आर्ट पेपर पर क्रेयॉन्स, पेंसिल कलर, वाटर कलर, एक्रेलिक कलर्स का उपयोग करके बनाई जाएगी।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि प्रतियोगिता में केंद्रीय विद्यालय, नवोदय विद्यालय, सीबीएसई व राज्य बोर्ड से संबद्ध विद्यालय, तथा सभी कला महाविद्यालय भाग ले सकते हैं। स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग, सीबीएसई, यूजीसी एवं अन्य नियामक संस्थाएं अपने अधीनस्थ संस्थानों को प्रतियोगिता आयोजित करने हेतु निर्देशित करेंगी। प्रत्येक विद्यालय द्वारा प्रतियोगिता के बाद शीर्ष 5 प्रविष्टियाँ चयनित कर उन्हें स्कैन करके माईगॉव (MyGov) पोर्टल पर अपलोड किया जायेगा। यह पोर्टल 20 जुलाई से 15 अगस्त 2025 तक लाइव रहेगा। चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल की अध्यक्षता में परिमंडल स्तर पर गठित समिति स्कूलों से प्राप्त प्रविष्टियों का मूल्यांकन कर 5 श्रेष्ठ डिज़ाइनों का चयन करेगी, जिन्हें डाक निदेशालय को अंतिम मूल्यांकन हेतु भेजा जाएगा। इनमें से राष्ट्रीय स्तर की श्रेष्ठ प्रविष्टि के चयन हेतु विदेश मंत्रालय और डाक विभाग द्वारा संयुक्त रूप से नामित समिति द्वारा मूल्यांकन किया जाएगा।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डाक टिकट केवल संचार का माध्यम नहीं हैं, बल्कि ये राष्ट्र की कला, संस्कृति, इतिहास और विरासत को दर्शाने वाले जीवंत प्रतीक होते हैं। ये छोटे आकार में बड़े विचारों, ऐतिहासिक घटनाओं और सामाजिक मूल्यों को सहेजते हैं। ऐसे में यह प्रतियोगिता विद्यार्थियों को रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति और राष्ट्रीय व वैश्विक दृष्टिकोण को चित्रों के माध्यम से प्रस्तुत करने का अनूठा अवसर प्रदान करेगी। यह प्रतियोगिता न केवल उनके कलात्मक विकास, बल्कि समाज और वैश्विक मुद्दों की समझ को भी बढ़ावा देगी। यह पहल विद्यार्थियों को न केवल एक प्रतिष्ठित राष्ट्रीय मंच प्रदान करती है, बल्कि उन्हें एक जागरूक वैश्विक नागरिक के रूप में सोचने और रचनात्मक रूप से अपनी बात कहने का अवसर भी देती है।

Students will get a platform for creativity and global consciousness through UN@80 Postage Stamp Design Competition -Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav

The United Nations (UN) is celebrating 80 years of its inception in October 2025. The theme of the 80th Celebration of the UN is "Building our Futire Together". To make this event memorable India Post is organizing a Stamp Design competition in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs. Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of North Gujarat Region, Ahmedabad said that Students belonging to Class 9 to Class 12 standard and Students from Art colleges can Participate in Stamp Design Competition on the theme "UN@80 and India's leadership in building our future through multilateralism, global leadership and stewardship". This competition commenced on 1st July 2025 and will end on 15th August 2025. Students can draw their ideas through crayons, pencil colors, water colors, acrylic colors, etc. on A4 Size, 200 GSM, White color art Sheets.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav told that Kendriya Vidyalaya, Navodaya Vidyalaya, CBSE and State Board affiliated schools, and all Art colleges can participate in the competition. School Education Department, CBSE, UGC and other regulatory bodies has been requested to direct their subordinate institutions to organize the competition in collaboration with Department of Posts. After the competition, School to conduct a screening of all the entries in order to shortlist a maximum of 05 designs with best ideas. These 05 designs on the topic shall be scanned and uploaded on the MyGov Portal. This portal will be live from 20th July to 15th August 2025. The committee chaired by the Chief Postmaster General of the respective Circle will evaluate the work of the students submitted by the schools and select 05 best designs, which will be sent to Postal Directorate, Ministry of Communications, New Delhi for final evaluation. National level evaluation would be done jointly by a committee nominated by the Minister of external Affairs and the Department of Posts.

Indian Postal Service Officer Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that Postage Stamps are not just a medium of communication, but they are living symbols depicting the art, culture, history and heritage of the Nation. They preserve big ideas, historical events and social values in small size. In such a situation, this competition will provide a unique opportunity to the students to present creative expression in National and Global perspective through paintings. This competition will not only promote their artistic development, but also their understanding of Society and Global issues. This initiative not only provides a prestigious national platform to the students but also gives them an opportunity to think and express themselves creatively as a responsible global citizen.

ડાક ટિકિટ ડિઝાઇન સ્પર્ધા ની થીમ "UN@80 અને બહુપક્ષીયતા, વૈશ્વિક નેતૃત્વ અને વ્યવસ્થાપન દ્વારા આપણા ભવિષ્યના નિર્માણમાં ભારતની નેતૃત્વ ભૂમિકા"

સંયુક્ત રાષ્ટ્ર (UN) ઓક્ટોબર ૨૦૨૫ માં તેની ૮૦મી વર્ષગાંઠની ઉજવણી કરશે. UN@80 ના સ્મારક કાર્યક્રમો હેઠળ, વિદેશ મંત્રાલયના સહયોગથી, ભારતીય ટપાલ વિભાગ ડાક ટિકિટ ડિઝાઇન સ્પર્ધાનું આયોજન કરી રહ્યું છે. ઉત્તર ગુજરાત ક્ષેત્રના પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું હતું કે ધોરણ ૯ થી ૧૨ ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ અને આર્ટસ કોલેજના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ "UN@80 અને બહુપક્ષીયતા, વૈશ્વિક નેતૃત્વ અને વ્યવસ્થાપન દ્વારા આપણા ભવિષ્યના નિર્માણમાં ભારતની નેતૃત્વ ભૂમિકા" થીમ પર ડાક ટિકિટ ડિઝાઇન કરી શકે છે. આ સ્પર્ધા પોસ્ટ વિભાગ દ્વારા 1 જુલાઈ થી 15 ઓગસ્ટ 2025 દરમિયાન વિવિધ શાળાઓ અને કોલેજોમાં આયોજિત કરવામાં આવશે. આ કલાકૃતિ A4 સાઇઝ (200 GSM) ના સફેદ આર્ટ પેપર પર ક્રેયોન્સ, પેન્સિલ કલર, વોટર કલર, એક્રેલિક રંગોનો ઉપયોગ કરીને બનાવવામાં રહેશે. 

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું હતું કે કેન્દ્રીય વિદ્યાલય, નવોદય વિદ્યાલય, સીબીએસસી અને રાજ્ય બોર્ડ સંલગ્ન શાળાઓ અને તમામ આર્ટસ કોલેજો આ સ્પર્ધામાં ભાગ લઈ શકે છે. શિક્ષણ વિભાગ, સીબીએસસી, યુજીસી  અને અન્ય નિયમનકારી સંસ્થાઓ તેમની ગૌણ સંસ્થાઓને સ્પર્ધાનું આયોજન કરવા માટે નિર્દેશિત કરશે. સ્પર્ધા પછી, દરેક શાળા ટોચની 5 એન્ટ્રીઓ પસંદ કરશે અને તેમને સ્કેન કરશે અને MyGov પોર્ટલ પર અપલોડ કરશે. આ પોર્ટલ 20 જુલાઈથી 15 ઓગસ્ટ 2025 સુધી લાઇવ રહેશે. ચીફ પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલની અધ્યક્ષતામાં રચાયેલી સમિતિ શાળાઓમાંથી પ્રાપ્ત થયેલી એન્ટ્રીઓનું મૂલ્યાંકન કરશે અને 5 શ્રેષ્ઠ ડિઝાઇન પસંદ કરશે, જે અંતિમ મૂલ્યાંકન માટે પોસ્ટલ ડાયરેક્ટોરેટ ને મોકલવામાં આવશે. શ્રેષ્ઠ રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરની એન્ટ્રીની પસંદગી વિદેશ મંત્રાલય અને પોસ્ટ વિભાગ દ્વારા સંયુક્ત રીતે નિયુક્ત સમિતિ દ્વારા કરવામાં આવશે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું હતું કે ડાક ટિકિટો ફક્ત સંદેશાવ્યવહારનું માધ્યમ નથી, પરંતુ તે રાષ્ટ્રની કલા, સંસ્કૃતિ, ઇતિહાસ અને વારસાને દર્શાવતા જીવંત પ્રતીકો છે. તેઓ નાના કદમાં મોટા વિચારો, ઐતિહાસિક ઘટનાઓ અને સામાજિક મૂલ્યોનું જતન કરે છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં, આ સ્પર્ધા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ચિત્રો દ્વારા સર્જનાત્મક અભિવ્યક્તિ અને રાષ્ટ્રીય અને વૈશ્વિક દ્રષ્ટિકોણ રજૂ કરવાની એક અનોખી તક પૂરી પાડશે. આ સ્પર્ધા ફક્ત તેમના કલાત્મક વિકાસને જ નહીં, પરંતુ સમાજ અને વૈશ્વિક મુદ્દાઓની તેમની સમજને પણ પ્રોત્સાહન આપશે. આ પહેલ વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ફક્ત એક પ્રતિષ્ઠિત રાષ્ટ્રીય પ્લેટફોર્મ જ પૂરું નથી પાડતું, પરંતુ તેમને એક જાગૃત વૈશ્વિક નાગરિક તરીકે સર્જનાત્મક રીતે વિચારવાની અને પોતાને વ્યક્ત કરવાની તક પણ આપે છે.

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने अहमदाबाद में 'दि आइडियल एण्ड ग्रेट स्टैम्प्स' पेंटिंग प्रदर्शनी का किया उद्घाटन

'दि आइडियल एण्ड ग्रेट स्टैम्प्स' पेंटिंग प्रदर्शनी का उद्घाटन उत्तरी गुजरात परिक्षेत्र, अहमदाबाद के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने किया। अहमदाबाद के रविशंकर रावल कला भवन, एलिस ब्रिज में आयोजित तीन दिवसीय (21-23 अगस्त, 2024) इस प्रदर्शनी में कलाकर श्री बिपिन चंद्र नाथूराम धमेल की महात्मा बुद्ध विषयक कलाकृतियों एवं डाक टिकटों पर आधारित पेंटिंग्स को प्रदर्शित किया गया है। गुजरात राज्य ललित कला अकादमी द्वारा प्रायोजित यह प्रदर्शनी 23 अगस्त तक सुबह 11 बजे से शाम 7 बजे तक देखी जा सकती है। पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने दीप प्रज्वलन कर प्रदर्शनी का उदघाटन किया और तत्पश्चात  विभिन्न कलाकृतियों  का अवलोकन किया। इस अवसर पर विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में बौद्ध गुरु धम्माचारी आनंद शाक्य, सेठ सी.एन कॉलेज ऑफ फाइन आर्टस के पूर्व विभागाध्यक्ष श्री जयेन्द्र पंचोली, वाटर कलर आर्टिस्ट श्री भारत भट्ट भी उपस्थित रहे।  

इस अवसर पर पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि महात्मा बुद्ध के जीवन के विभिन्न पक्षों के साथ-साथ साहित्य, कला, संस्कृति, शिक्षा, अध्यात्म, स्थापत्य कला के विभिन्न पहलुओं को सहेजती यह कला प्रदर्शनी अनुपम है। पेंटिंग एक विधा के साथ-साथ हमारे समाज और परिवेश का प्रतिबिंब भी है। इन कलाकृतियों में हमें समाज की अनूठी झलक दिखती है। मात्र आड़ी तिरछी लाइनें खींचकर उनमें रंग भर देना ही पेंटिंग नहीं है बल्कि उसमें संवेदना और सामाजिक सरोकार भी प्रतिबिंबित होना चाहिए।

 कलाकार श्री बिपिन चंद्र द्वारा महात्मा बुद्ध के साथ विभिन्न महापुरुषों और विविध विषयों पर जारी डाक टिकटों को पेंटिंग्स में उकेर कर प्रदर्शित करने की उन्होंने सराहना की। श्री यादव ने इंगित किया कि डाक टिकट वास्तव में एक नन्हा राजदूत है, जो विभिन्न देशों का भ्रमण करता है एवम् उन्हें अपनी सभ्यता, संस्कृति और विरासत से अवगत कराता है। हर डाक टिकट के पीछे एक कहानी छुपी हुई है और इस कहानी से आज की युवा पीढ़ी को जोड़ने की जरूरत है। गुजरात की धरती पर जन्मे 'राष्ट्रपिता' महात्मा गाँधी जी ने अपने विचारों और कर्मों से पूरी दुनिया में प्रतिष्ठा हासिल की, यही कारण है कि दुनिया में सबसे ज्यादा डाक टिकट महात्मा गाँधी पर जारी हुए। पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कला प्रदर्शनी की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि ऐसी प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन होना चाहिए जिससे कि कुछ नयापन लोगों को देखने को मिले। उन्होंने कहा कि श्री बिपिन चंद्र की कलाकृतियाँ “अप्प दीपो भव” की संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देती हैं। इससे अधिक से अधिक लोगों को जुड़ना चाहिए।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि डाक टिकट संग्रह और इसके अध्ययन की विधा फिलेटली के क्षेत्र में डाक विभाग द्वारा तमाम नए कदम उठाये जा रहे हैं। इसका उद्देश्य बच्चों में रचनात्मकता के विकास के साथ-साथ यह भी है कि तमाम समसामयिक विषयों, घटनाओं, देश की विभूतियों, जैव विविधता आदि से बच्चे इन डाक टिकटों के माध्यम से रूबरू हो सकेंगे। फिलेटली का शिक्षा प्रणाली को मजबूत करने में अहम योगदान है। डाकघरों में मात्र 200 रूपये की आरम्भिक राशि से  फिलेटली डिपाजिट एकाउंट खोलकर घर बैठे डाक टिकटें मंगाई जा सकती हैं। इससे युवाओं और बच्चों को ज्ञान के साथ-साथ एक अच्छी हॉबी अपनाने की प्रेरणा भी मिलेगी।

 कलाकर श्री बिपिन चंद्र ने बताया कि 'वन मैन एक्जीबिशन ऑफ पेंटिंग्स' के तहत लगाई गई उनकी इस प्रदर्शनी का उद्देश्य महात्मा बुद्ध के जीवन के विभिन्न प्रसंगों एवं डाक टिकटों के माध्यम से प्रतिबिंबित किये गए विभिन्न महापुरुषों, सांस्कृतिक सरोकारों एवं अन्य समसामयिक विषयों को पेंटिंग्स में समाहित कर उनके माध्यम से जनजागरूकता को बढ़ावा देना है। उन्होंने बताया कि इसके बाद 19 से 21 अक्टूबर के मध्य गोवा स्थित उज्वल आर्ट गैलरी में इन पेंटिंग्स की प्रदर्शनी लगाई जाएगी।

'ધી આઈડિયલ એન્ડ ગ્રેટ સ્ટેમ્પ્સ' પેઈન્ટિંગ પ્રદર્શનીનું ઉદઘાટન21 ઑગસ્ટે ઉત્તર ગુજરાત પરિક્ષેત્ર, અમદાવાદના પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવના હસ્તે કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. અમદાવાદના રવિશંકર રાવલ કલા ભવન, એલિસ બ્રિજ ખાતે યોજાયેલ આ ત્રિ-દિવસીય પ્રદર્શનમાં કલાકાર શ્રી બિપિન ચંદ્ર નાથુરામ ધમેલની મહાત્મા બુદ્ધ વિષયક ચિત્રકલા અને ડાક ટિકિટો પર આધારિત પેઈન્ટિંગ્સ પ્રદર્શિત કરવામાં આવ્યા છે. ગુજરાત રાજ્ય લલિત કલા અકાદમી દ્વારા પ્રાયોજિત આ પ્રદર્શની 23 ઑગસ્ટ સુધી સવારે 11 વાગ્યાથી સાંજે 7 વાગ્યા સુધી જોઈ શકાય છે. પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણકુમાર યાદવે દીપ પ્રજ્વલન કરીને પ્રદર્શનનું ઉદઘાટન કર્યું અને ત્યારબાદ વિવિધ કળાકૃતિઓનું અવલોકન કર્યું. આ પ્રસંગે વિશિષ્ટ મહેમાન તરીકે બૌદ્ધ ગુરુ ધમ્માચારી આનંદ શાક્ય, સેઠ સી.એન. કોલેજ ઓફ ફાઇન આર્ટ્સના ભૂતપૂર્વ વિભાગાધ્યક્ષ શ્રી જયેન્દ્ર પંચોલી, વોટર કલર આર્ટિસ્ટ શ્રી ભારત ભટ્ટ પણ હાજર રહ્યા.

આ પ્રસંગે પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે પોતાના સંબોધનમાં જણાવ્યું કે મહાત્મા બુદ્ધના જીવનના વિવિધ પાસાઓ સાથે સાહિત્ય, કળા, સંસ્કૃતિની સાથે-સાથે શિક્ષણ, આધ્યાત્મ, સ્થાપત્ય કળાના વિવિધ પાસાઓને સાચવતી આ કળાપ્રદર્શન અનોખુ છે. પેઈન્ટિંગ એક કળાની સાથે સાથે આપણા સમાજ અને પર્યાવરણનું પ્રતિબિંબ પણ છે. આ કળાકૃતિઓમાં આપણને સમાજની અનોખી ઝલક જોવા મળે છે. માત્ર આડી કે ત્રાંસી લાઇનો દોરીને તેમાં રંગો ભરવા એ જ પેઈન્ટિંગ નથી, પરંતુ તેમાં સંવેદના અને સામાજિક જાગૃતિ પણ પ્રતિબિંબિત થવી જોઈએ.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે કલાકાર શ્રી બિપિન ચંદ્ર દ્વારા મહાત્મા બુદ્ધ સાથે  વિવિધ મહાપુરુષો અને વિવિધ વિષયો પર બહાર પાડવામાં આવેલી ડાક ટિકિટોને પેઈન્ટિંગ્સમાં ઢાળી પ્રદર્શિત કરવા બદલ પ્રશંસા કરી. શ્રી યાદવે સૂચિત કર્યું કે ડાક ટિકિટ ખરેખર એક નાનું રાજદૂત છે, જે વિવિધ દેશોમાં પ્રવાસ કરે છે અને તેઓને પોતાની સંસ્કૃતિ, સંસ્કાર અને વારસાનો પરિચિય કરાવે છે. દરેક ડાક ટિકિટની પાછળ એક વાર્તા છુપાયેલી હોય છે અને આ વાર્તાની સાથે આજની યુવા પેઢીને જોડવાની જરૂર છે. ગુજરાતની ધરતી પર જન્મેલા 'રાષ્ટ્રપિતા' મહાત્મા ગાંધીજીએ પોતાના વિચારો અને કાર્યોથી વિશ્વભરમાં પ્રતિષ્ઠા મેળવી છે, એટલે જ વિશ્વમાં સૌથી વધુ ટપાલ ટિકિટો મહાત્મા ગાંધી પર બહાર પાડવામાં આવી છે. પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે કળાપ્રદર્શનની પ્રશંસા કરતાં જણાવ્યું  કે આ પ્રકારના પ્રદર્શનોનું આયોજન થવું જોઈએ, જેથી લોકોને કંઈક નવું જોવા અને શીખવા મળે. તેમણે જણાવ્યું કે શ્રી બિપિન ચંદ્રની કલાકૃતિઓ "અપ્પ દીપો ભવ" સંસ્કૃતિને પ્રોત્સાહન આપે છે. આથી વધારેમાં વધારે લોકો આ પ્રકારની પ્રવૃતિમાં જોડાવા જોઈએ.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું હતું કે ડાક ટિકિટ સંગ્રહ અને તેના અધ્યયનની કળા ‘ફિલેટલી’ ના ક્ષેત્રમાં પોસ્ટ વિભાગ દ્વારા ઘણા નવા પગલા લેવામાં આવી રહ્યા છે. તેનો હેતુ બાળકોમાં સર્જનાત્મકતાના વિકાસ સાથે સાથે તેઓને વિવિધ સમકાલીન વિષયો, ઘટનાઓ, દેશના મહાનુભાવો, જૈવ વૈવિધ્યતા વગેરે સાથે પરિચિત કરાવવાનો છે. ‘ફિલેટલી’ નો શિક્ષણ પદ્ધતિને મજબૂત બનાવવામાં મહત્વનો ફાળો છે. પોસ્ટ ઓફિસમાં માત્ર ₹.200/-ની પ્રારંભિક જમા રકમથી ફિલેટલી ડિપોઝિટ ખાતું ખોલીને ઘરે બેઠા ડાક ટિકિટ મંગાવી શકાય છે. આથી યુવાનો અને બાળકોને જ્ઞાન સાથે સાથે એક સારો શોખ અપનાવવા માટે પ્રેરણા મળશે.

કલાકાર શ્રી બિપિન ચંદ્રે જણાવ્યું કે 'વન મેન એક્ઝિબિશન ઓફ પેઈન્ટિંગ્સ' હેઠળ મૂકાયેલી તેમની આ પ્રદર્શનીનો હેતુ મહાત્મા બુદ્ધના જીવનના વિવિધ પ્રસંગો અને ડાક ટિકિટો દ્વારા પ્રતિબિંબિત થયેલા વિવિધ મહાનુભાવો, સાંસ્કૃતિક સગવડ અને અન્ય સમસામયિક વિષયોને ચિત્રોમાં સમાવવું અને તેના માધ્યમથી જનજાગૃતિને વધારવું છે. તેમણે જણાવ્યું કે આ પછી ૧૯ થી ૨૧ ઑક્ટોબર દરમિયાન ગોવા સ્થિત ઉજ્વલ આર્ટ ગેલેરીમાં આ પેઈન્ટિંગ્સનું પ્રદર્શન યોજવામાં આવશે.

'The Ideal and Great Stamps' Paintings exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, North Gujarat Region, Ahmedabad, on 21st August. The three-day exhibition, held at Ravishankar Raval Kala Bhavan, Ellisbridge, Ahmedabad, features paintings by artist Shri Bipinchandra Nathuram Dhamel based on the theme of Mahatma Buddha and postal stamps. The exhibition sponsored by the Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy will be opened for public from 11 AM to 7 PM until August 23. Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav inaugurated the exhibition by lighting a lamp, and then proceeded to view the various artworks. Shri Dhammachari Anand Shakya, Triratna Bauddha Mahasangh, Shri Jayendra Pancholi, Eminent artist and retired Head of Department, Sheth CN College of Fine arts, Shri Bharat Bhatt, Water color artist also graced the function as Guest of honour.

On this occasion, Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that this painting exhibition is unique, preserving various aspects of Mahatma Buddha's life along with literature, art, culture, as well as education, spirituality, and architecture. He emphasized that painting is not just an art but also a reflection of our society. These artworks show a unique glimpse of the society. Painting is not just about drawing lines and filling them with colors; but it should also reflect social concerns.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav appreciated the efforts of artist Shri Bipinchandra for depicting Mahatma Buddha and various eminent personalities and themes through postal stamps in his paintings. Shri Yadav further said that postage stamps are indeed small ambassadors which travel to different countries, introducing our civilization, culture, and heritage. Every postage stamp has a story behind it, and today's young generation needs to be connected to this story. 'Father of the Nation' Mahatma Gandhi, born on the land of Gujarat, gained worldwide recognition through his thoughts and actions, so, the highest number of stamps in the world were issued on Mahatma Gandhi. Praising the art exhibition, Postmaster General Shri Yadav said that such exhibitions should be organized regularly so that people get to see something new. He mentioned that Shri Bipinchandra's artworks promote the culture of "App Deepo Bhava" (Be a Light unto Yourself), so that more and more people should connect with it.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav told that the Department of Posts is taking new initiatives to promote philately i.e collection and study of stamps. Its objective is to develop creativity in children as well as to make them aware of contemporary issues, events, eminent personalities, biodiversity etc. through stamps. Philately plays an important role in strengthening the education system also. Philatelic deposit account can be opened in post offices with an initial amount of just Rs. 200/- to get stamps at door steps. This initiative will not only provide knowledge to the youth and children but also inspire them to adopt a good hobby.

Artist Shri Bipin Chandra said that the objective of this exhibition organized under 'One Man Exhibition of Paintings' is to spread awareness through paintings that reflect various aspects of Mahatma Buddha's life, notable personalities, cultural concerns, and other contemporary topics, as depicted through postal stamps. He also mentioned that the exhibition of these paintings will next be held at Ujjwal Art Gallery in Goa from 19th to 21st October.

यदि आप फोटोग्राफी का शौक रखते हैं तो आप द्वारा लिया गया फोटो भी डाक टिकट पर स्थान पा सकता  है।  भारतीय डाक विभाग ऐसे लोगों के लिए इस 'स्वतंत्रता दिवस' पर  एक सुनहरा मौका लेकर आया है, जहाँ डाक टिकट पर आप द्वारा क्लिक किया गया मौलिक फोटोग्राफ स्थान पा सकता है। 

इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए राजस्थान पश्चिमी क्षेत्र, जोधपुर  के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि  स्वतंत्रता  दिवस-2017  के लिए डाक विभाग ने ’सुंदर भारत’ थीम पर फोटोग्राफी कम्पटीशन की घोषणा की है, जिसके तहत 18 वर्ष से ऊपर का कोई भी भारतीय नागरिक इस विषय पर डाक टिकट व अन्य फिलेटेलिक सामग्री हेतु अपना मौलिक फोटोग्राफ भेज सकता है। उक्त फोटो ऐसी होनी चाहिए कि जिसे भारत के स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर डाक टिकट जारी करने बाबत् चयन किया जा सके और ऐसा डाक-टिकट संग्रह करने लायक हो। डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इस प्रतियोगिता के लिए राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर क्रमशः 10,000, 6000 व 4000 रूपये का प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय पुरस्कार भी दिया जायेगा।

डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि प्रतिभागियों को भारत की सुंदरता दर्शाते, चित्रित करती हुई एक ऐसी मौलिक और वास्तविक तस्वीर लेकर भेजनी है, जो कि अन्य व्यक्ति द्वारा ली गई तस्वीर से भिन्न हों, यानि बिल्कुल नई हो। संबंधित प्रतिभागी स्पीड पोस्ट के माध्यम से 25 जुलाई, 2017  तक ए-4 साईज के  फोटो वाले कागज पर अपनी प्रविष्टि और उसकी सॉफ्ट कॉपी एक सीडी में डालकर सहायक महानिदेशक (फिलेटली), कक्ष संख्या 108 (बी), डाक भवन, पार्लियामेंट स्ट्रीट, नई दिल्ली-110001 पर भेज सकते हैं। मूल फोटो प्रिंट के पिछले हिस्से में प्रतिभागी का नाम, उम्र, लिंग,राष्ट्रीयता, पिनकोड सहित पूर्ण पता, फोन/मोबाईल नं. और  ई-मेल लिखा होना चाहिए। प्रतिभागियों को लिफाफे पर ‘‘फोटोग्राफ़ी प्रतियोगिता - स्वतंत्रता दिवस’’ का उल्लेख अवश्य करना होगा ।  प्रविष्टियां ईमेल के द्वारा philatelycompetition@gmail.com पर सीधे भी भेजी जा सकती हैं।

अब डाक टिकटों पर भी झलकेगी बारिश में बच्चों की मस्ती

डाक टिकटों का संचय करने वाले और कला में रूचि रखने वाले विद्यार्थियों के लिए अच्छी खबर है,कि भारतीय डाक विभाग बाल दिवस-2015 पर जारी होने वाले डाक टिकट के लिए डाक टिकट डिजाइन प्रतियोगिता का आगाज करने जा रहा है। इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए राजस्थान पश्चिमी क्षेत्र, जोधपुर के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि आगामी बाल दिवस -2015 के लिए डाक विभाग ने ’बारिश में एक दिन’ थीम पर डाक टिकट डिजाइन प्रतियोगिता की घोषणा की है, जिसके तहत 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र का कोई भी भारतीय नागरिक इस विषय पर डाक टिकट व अन्य फिलेटेलिक सामग्री हेतु अपना मौलिक डिजाइन भेज सकता है। डाक टिकट डिजाइन हेतु राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर क्रमशः 10,000, 6000 व 4000 रूपये का प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय पुरस्कार भी दिया जायेगा। 

डाक निदेशक श्री यादव ने बताया कि यह डिजाइन इंक, वाटर व आयल कलर इत्यादि में हो सकती है, पर कम्प्यूटर प्रिन्टेंड/प्रिंट आउट की अनुमति नहीं होगी। डिजाइन के पीछे प्रतिभागी का नाम, उम्र, राष्ट्रीयता, पिन कोड के साथ आवासीय पता, फोन/मोबाइल नं0 व ई-मेल लिखा होना चाहिए। इसके साथ ही मौलिकता का एक घोषणपत्र भी संलग्न करना होगा। संबंधित प्रतिभागी स्पीड पोस्ट के माध्यम से 31 अगस्त, 2015  तक अपनी प्रविष्टियाँ सहायक महानिदेशक (फिलेटली), कक्ष संख्या 108 (बी), डाक भवन, पार्लियामेंट स्ट्रीट, नई दिल्ली-110001 पर भेज सकते हैं। स्पीड पोस्ट लिफाफे के ऊपर ’’डाक टिकट डिजायन प्रतियोगिता’’ अवश्य अंकित होना चाहिए।

डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि हर किसी की चाहत होती है कि काश उसका बनाया चित्र डाक टिकट पर एक धरोहर के रूप में अंकित हो। ऐसे में यह एक सुनहरा मौका है, जहाँ डाक टिकट पर आप द्वारा बनाया मौलिक चित्र स्थान पा सकता है। ऐसे में बारिश में खेलते हुए बच्चे, सड़क पर खड़े होकर पानी में मस्ती करते हुए, नाव चलाते हुए सहित उनके द्वारा की जाने वाली विभिन्न अठखेलियों और बारिश से संबंधित अन्य तमाम विषयों पर बनाई गई प्रविष्टि को उन्हें भेजना होगा।

'स्वच्छ भारत' की संकल्पना को लेकर राष्ट्रीय डाक सप्ताह दौरान आयोजित फिलेटली दिवस पर स्कूली बच्चों ने  डाक टिकट बनाया। इलाहाबाद में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में बच्चों ने 'स्वच्छ भारत' के प्रति अपनी भावनाओं को खूबसूरत चित्रों में ढालते हुए भिन्न-भिन्न रंग भरे।  रंग भी इतने करीने से कि स्वच्छ्ता का अहसास करायें।  किसी ने भारत का नक्शा बनाकर तो किसी ने बापू जी माध्यम से स्वच्छ्ता का सन्देश दिया। इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि  इसका उद्देश्य डाक-टिकट संग्रह के प्रति बच्चों में अभिरूचि विकसित करना और डाक टिकटों के माध्यम से युवा पीढी को डाक सेवाओं के इतिहास से जोड़ते हुए 'राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ्ता अभियान' से जोड़ना था।

डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने डाक टिकट डिजायन प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत भी किया। इनमें सीनियर वर्ग में सेंट एंथनी गर्ल्स  कान्वेंट की छात्रा एवं राष्ट्रीय बाल-श्री विजेता एलिस अंशु फिलिप ने प्रथम, श्रेया डे ने द्वितीय तथा ज्वाला देवी विद्या मंदिर के आशीष कुमार यादव को तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त हुआ। जूनियर वर्ग में ज्वाला देवी विद्या मंदिर के ईशू सेठ व प्रखर खरे ने क्रमशः प्रथम व द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।

Postage Stamps may help in enriching and strengthening education system – KK Yadav

 “Philately day’’ was celebrated by Postal Dept. as a part of National Postal Week on 13th Oct 2014. On this occasion various programmes were held including Philatelic workshop, Stamp Design Competition on Clean India theme and quiz competition for students to promote philately. 

On this occasion Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav , Director Postal Services, said that philately is not the only collection of stamps but it is also includes study of stamps.  He said that every stamp has a story of their own and there is a need to link young generation with this story. He called Postage Stamps are “Carrier of emotions”, which carries emotions from one person to another.

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region said that generally Postage Stamps may look like a small piece of paper but there value and importance is much more. In fact Postage Stamp is a tiny ambassador, which travels across countries and teaches them about his country’s civilization, culture and heritage. It is an icon of a country’s people, their belief and philosophy, history, culture, heritage, ambitions and expectations. It is filled with enchanting vitality. 

On this occasion Mr.Yadav also told about interesting story about a European woman of 19th century who had an idea to decorate her dressing room with Postage Stamps, she collected sixteen thousand stamps from her acquaintances and for remaining she released an advertisement in “Times of London” and requested the readers to send used postage stamps to complete her collection. Thereafter collecting of stamps gained popularity as a hobby in the whole world in due course of time.

Mr. Yadav urged to School and Students to open Philatelic Deposit Account in Post Offices to get Stamps at their door step every month. He said that knowledge may also be acquired through Postage Stamps. Postage Stamps may also help in enriching and strengthening our education system.

Senior Philatelist Mr Anil Rastogi and Dr Manishi Bansal told the students about the importance and advantages  of Postal Stamps collection. Director Postal Services felicitated both the philatelist. On this occasion students were too much enjoying seeing the old and new postage stamps. Many students open their philatelic deposit accounts and connect for ever with this occasion. 

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, felicitated the winners of various competition. For Quiz competition Holy Trinity school student Mr Prithu Shukla gets first prize, Jwala Devi Vidya Mandir student Mr Yogesh Singh gets second and Ramanujam Public School student Mr Mritunjay Mani Tripahti gets third prize. In stamp design competition on "Clean India" theme in junior section Jwala Devi Vidya Mandir Km. Ishu Seth and Mr Prakhar Khare gets first and second respectively and  in senior section competition Saint Anthony Girls Convent school Km. Alice Anshu Philip, Km. Shreya Dey and Mr Asish Kumar Yadav get first, second and third prize respectively. 

Sr. Supdt. of Post Offices Mr. Rahmatullah welcomed the guests and  vote of thanks was given by Sr. Postmaster Sri O B Singh whereas  the programme was conducted by Sri B K Sharma.

India Post announces 'Republic Day-2015 Stamp Design competition' with 'Clean India' theme

It's every person's dream that pictures designed by them appear on a Postage Stamp as a souvenir. Postal Department has come up with a golden opportunity for people with artistic talents, where picture designed by them will be depicted on a Postage Stamp.

 Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region informed that Department of Posts is holding a 'Republic Day 2015- Stamp design competition.' The theme of the competition is 'Clean India' and under this competition any citizen of India can participate. Mr. Yadav told that the design could be in ink, water colour, oil colour and any other medium but computer printed/print out will not be allowed. The design submitted should be such that it can be depicted on the stamps in a visually appealing manner so as to be of interest to philatelic collectors. 

Director Mr. KK Yadav also informed that particulars i.e. name of the participants, age, nationality, full and complete residential address with pin code, phone/mobile no. and e-mail ID is to be written legibly on the reverse of the design. An undertaking stating that 'The artwork submitted is original and no copyright issues are involved' should be sent along with the entry. Design should be sent without being folded, through Speed Post only in A-4 size envelope and participant should mention "Republic Day 2015- Stamp Design Contest" on the envelope. The entries should be sent to Asstt. Director General (Philately), Room no. 108 (B), Dak Bhawan, Parliament Street, New Delhi-110001 by 15th October, 2014, added Mr. Yadav.

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region said that the winning entries will also be awarded on national level Rs. 10,000/- for first prize, Rs. 6,000/- for second prize, and Rs. 4,000/- for third prize respectively.
