Department of Posts to organize the 55th Universal Postal Union International Letter Writing Competition – Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav

भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा पत्र लेखन विधा को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए प्रति वर्ष 'यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल यूनियन अंतरराष्ट्रीय पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता' का आयोजन 9 से 15 साल तक के बच्चों के लिए किया जाता है। इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र, अहमदाबाद के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि भारतीय डाक विभाग स्कूली छात्रों के बीच रचनात्मकता, आलोचनात्मक सोच और पत्र लेखन की कला को बढ़ावा देने के लिए यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल यूनियन (यूपीयू) की एक वार्षिक वैश्विक पहल के तहत युवाओं के लिए 55वीं यूपीयू अंतरराष्ट्रीय पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता-2026 का आयोजन करने जा रहा है। पत्र-लेखन का विषय है: "डिजिटल दुनिया में मानवीय जुड़ाव क्यों मायने रखता है, इस बारे में अपने किसी मित्र को पत्र लिखें।" पत्र हिंदी, अंग्रेजी या संविधान की आठवीं सूची में निर्दिष्ट किसी भी भाषा में 800 शब्दों की सीमा में लिखना होगा।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि प्रतियोगिता हेतु प्रविष्टियाँ भेजने की अन्तिम तिथि 13 मार्च, 2026 है। इच्छुक विद्यार्थी अपने विद्यालय के माध्यम से (जन्मतिथि सत्यापित करवाते हुए) निर्धारित आवेदन-पत्र (दो प्रतियों में) पासपोर्ट आकार की तीन नवीनतम फोटो साथ लगाकर संबंधित डाक अधीक्षक/प्रवर अधीक्षक को भेज सकते हैं। प्रतियोगिता हेतु आवेदन करने का प्रारूप सम्बन्धित प्रवर अधीक्षक/अधीक्षक कार्यालय से प्राप्त किया जा सकता है, हालांकि सभी मण्डलीय अधीक्षकों को व्यापक प्रचार व विभिन्न स्कूलों को प्रारूप उपलब्ध कराने के निर्देश दिये गये हैं। यदि विभिन्न स्कूलों-कालेजों के प्रधानाचार्य चाहें तो उक्त प्रतियोगिता डाक विभाग से मिलकर अपने स्तर पर भी स्वतंत्र रूप से करा सकते हैं। डाक विभाग प्रतियोगी प्रविष्टियों को उनसे एकत्र कर परिमंडलीय कार्यालय, गुजरात को भेजेगा।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता का मूल्यांकन परिमण्डलीय स्तर पर गुजरात में किया जायेगा तथा श्रेष्ठ तीन पत्र लेखन को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर सम्मिलित करने हेतु डाक निदेशालय, नई दिल्ली भेजा जायेगा। इसमें राज्य या परिमंडल स्तर पर चयनित शीर्ष तीन प्रतिभागियों को क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय पुरस्कार के रूप में ₹25,000, ₹10,000 एवं ₹5,000 की पुरस्कार राशि प्रमाणपत्र सहित प्रदान की जाएगी। वहीं, राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय पुरस्कार के रूप में ₹50,000, ₹25,000 एवं ₹10,000 की पुरस्कार राशि प्रमाणपत्र सहित प्रदान की जाएगी। अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल यूनियन (यूपीयू) द्वारा प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय पुरस्कार के रूप में स्वर्ण, रजत एवं कांस्य पदक, प्रमाणपत्र तथा अन्य आकर्षक पुरस्कार प्रदान किए जाएंगे। इसके अतिरिक्त, स्वर्ण पदक विजेता को यूपीयू मुख्यालय, बर्न (स्विट्ज़रलैंड) की यात्रा का अवसर अथवा यूपीयू द्वारा निर्धारित कोई अन्य विशेष पुरस्कार भी प्रदान किया जायेगा ।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि डिजिटल क्रांति के इस युग में, जहाँ संदेश क्षण भर में एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान तक पहुँच जाते हैं, वहाँ पत्र लेखन का महत्व आज भी बना हुआ है। पत्र लिखना हमें ठहरकर सोचने और अपने विचारों को संयम एवं संवेदनशीलता के साथ व्यक्त करने का अवसर प्रदान करता है। हाथ से लिखा गया पत्र भावनाओं को संजोकर प्रस्तुत करने की एक सजीव कला है। इसमें केवल शब्द नहीं, बल्कि लेखक की अनुभूतियाँ और संवेदनाएँ भी समाहित होती हैं। यही कारण है कि हस्तलिखित पत्र शब्दों से कहीं अधिक, दिल की सच्ची आवाज़ होता है।

ભારતીય ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા પત્ર લેખનની વિધાને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે દર વર્ષે 9 થી 15 વર્ષની વયના બાળકો માટે ‘યુનિવર્સલ પોસ્ટલ યુનિયન આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય પત્ર લેખન સ્પર્ધા’નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવે છે. આ અંગે માહિતી આપતાં ઉત્તર ગુજરાત પરિક્ષેત્ર, અમદાવાદના પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે ભારતીય ડાક વિભાગ શાળાના વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં સર્જનાત્મકતા, વિવેચનાત્મક વિચારસરણી અને પત્ર લેખનની કળાને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે યુનિવર્સલ પોસ્ટલ યુનિયન ની એક વાર્ષિક વૈશ્વિક પહેલ હેઠળ યુવાઓ માટે 55મી યુપીયુ આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય પત્ર લેખન સ્પર્ધા–2026નું આયોજન કરવા જઈ રહ્યું છે. પત્ર લેખનનો વિષય છે: “ડિજિટલ વિશ્વમાં માનવીય જોડાણ કેમ મહત્વનું છે, તે અંગે તમારા કોઈ મિત્રને પત્ર લખો.” પત્ર હિન્દી, અંગ્રેજી અથવા બંધારણની આઠમી અનુસૂચિમાં દર્શાવેલી કોઈપણ ભાષામાં 800 શબ્દોની મર્યાદામાં લખવાનો રહેશે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે સ્પર્ધા માટે અરજીઓ મોકલવાની છેલ્લી તારીખ 13 માર્ચ, 2026 છે. ઇચ્છુક વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પોતાના શાળાના માધ્યમથી (જન્મતારીખનું પ્રમાણિતકરણ કરાવીને) નિર્ધારિત અરજીપત્રક (બે નકલમાં) સાથે પાસપોર્ટ સાઇઝના ત્રણ તાજેતરના ફોટોગ્રાફ જોડીને સંબંધિત અધિક્ષક/પ્રવર અધિક્ષકને મોકલી શકે છે. સ્પર્ધા માટે અરજી કરવાનો નમૂનો સંબંધિત પ્રવર અધિક્ષક/અધિક્ષક કચેરીમાંથી પ્રાપ્ત કરી શકાય છે. તેમ છતાં, તમામ મંડળના અધિક્ષકને વ્યાપક પ્રચાર કરવા તથા વિવિધ શાળાઓને અરજીપત્રકના નમૂના ઉપલબ્ધ કરાવવા સૂચનાઓ આપવામાં આવી છે. જો વિવિધ શાળા-કોલેજોના આચાર્ય ઈચ્છે તો આ સ્પર્ધા પોસ્ટ વિભાગ સાથે સંકલન કરીને પોતાના સ્તરે પણ સ્વતંત્ર રીતે યોજી શકે છે. પોસ્ટ વિભાગ સ્પર્ધાત્મક અરજીઓ તેમની પાસેથી એકત્ર કરી પરિમંડલીય કચેરી, ગુજરાતને મોકલશે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે પત્ર લેખન સ્પર્ધાનું મૂલ્યાંકન ગુજરાત ખાતે પરિમંડલીય સ્તરે કરવામાં આવશે અને શ્રેષ્ઠ ત્રણ પત્રોને રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે સામેલ કરવા માટે ડાક નિદેશાલય, નવી દિલ્હી મોકલવામાં આવશે. રાજ્ય અથવા પરિમંડલ સ્તરે પસંદ થયેલા ટોચના ત્રણ પ્રતિભાગીઓને ક્રમશઃ પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય ઇનામ તરીકે પ્રમાણપત્ર સાથે રૂ. 25,000, રૂ. 10,000 અને રૂ. 5,000 ની ઇનામ રકમ આપવામાં આવશે. તે જ રીતે, રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય ઇનામ તરીકે પ્રમાણપત્ર સાથે રૂ. 50,000, રૂ. 25,000 અને રૂ. 10,000 ની ઇનામ રકમ આપવામાં આવશે. આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે યુનિવર્સલ પોસ્ટલ યુનિયન દ્વારા પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય ઇનામ તરીકે અનુક્રમે સુવર્ણ, રજત અને કાંસ્ય પદક, પ્રમાણપત્ર તથા અન્ય આકર્ષક ઇનામો આપવામાં આવશે. ઉપરાંત, સુવર્ણ પદક વિજેતાને યુપીયુ મુખ્યાલય, બર્ન (સ્વિટ્ઝર્લેન્ડ)ની મુલાકાતનો અવસર અથવા યુપીયુ દ્વારા નિર્ધારિત કોઈ અન્ય વિશેષ ઇનામ પણ આપવામાં આવશે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે ડિજિટલ ક્રાંતિના આ યુગમાં, જ્યાં સંદેશાઓ ક્ષણભરમાં એક સ્થાનેથી બીજા સ્થાન સુધી પહોંચી જાય છે, ત્યાં પત્ર લેખનની મહત્વતા આજે પણ યથાવત છે. પત્ર લખવાથી આપણને થોભીને વિચારવાની અને પોતાના વિચારોને સંયમ તથા સંવેદનશીલતા સાથે વ્યક્ત કરવાની તક મળે છે. હાથથી લખાયેલ પત્ર લાગણીઓને સંભાળી રજૂ કરવાની એક જીવંત કળા છે. તેમાં માત્ર શબ્દો નહીં, પરંતુ લેખકની અનુભૂતિઓ અને ભાવનાઓ પણ સમાયેલી હોય છે. એટલા માટે હાથથી લખેલ પત્ર શબ્દોથી અનેક ગણા વધુ, દિલની સાચી અવાજ બને છે.

Children Aged 9–15 to Write letter on ‘Human Connections in a Digital World’ under Universal Postal Union’s Global Initiative to Promote Letter Writing

To promote letter writing, the Department of Posts organizes the Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Letter Writing Competition every year for children aged 9 to 15 years. Sharing details about this, Postmaster General of North Gujarat Region, Ahmedabad, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, said that India Post is organizing the 55th UPU International Letter Writing Competition for youth under the annual global initiative of the Universal Postal Union to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and the art of letter writing among school students. The topic for UPU International Letter Writing Competition-2026 is “Write a letter to a friend about why human connection matters in a digital world.” Composition must be presented in the form of letter and can be written in Hindi, English or any language listed in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution, with a maximum limit of 800 words.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav told that the last date for sending entries for the competition is 13th March 2026. Interested students may submit their entries through their schools (with verified date of birth) along with the prescribed application form (in two copies) and three recent passport-sized photographs to the concerned Sr. Superintendent of Posts/Superintendent of Posts. The application form for the competition can be obtained from the office of the concerned Sr. Superintendent of Posts/Superintendent of Posts. However, all Divisional Heads have been instructed to widely publicize the competition and provide the application form to various schools. Schools may organize this competition for their students independently as well. Concerned school principals may contact their concerned Sr. Superintendent of Posts/Superintendent of Posts for this. India Post will then collect the participants’ entries from them and forward them to the Circle Office, Gujarat.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that the evaluation of the letter writing competition will be conducted at the Circle level in Gujarat, and the three best letters will be sent to the Postal Directorate, New Delhi for consideration at the national level. At the state/circle level, the top three participants will be awarded ₹25,000, ₹10,000, and ₹5,000 respectively, along with certificates for first, second, and third prizes. At the national level, the first, second, and third prize winners will receive ₹50,000, ₹25,000, and ₹10,000 respectively, along with certificates. At the international level, the Universal Postal Union (UPU) will award gold, silver, and bronze medals, certificates, and other attractive prizes for first, second, and third positions. In addition, the gold medalist may also be offered a trip to the UPU Headquarters in Bern, Switzerland, or an alternative prize to be decided at the sole discretion of the UPU.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav told that this year’s theme explores the importance of genuine human connection in an increasingly digital world shaped by technology, from robots to all kinds of digital communication tools. By writing a letter to a friend, participants are encouraged to consider why staying connected, expressing care and nurturing friendships matters now more than ever across both physical and digital spaces. Indian Postal Service Officer Sh. KK Yadav added that, Since 1971, the Universal Postal Union has encouraged young writers aged 9-15 (inclusive) to write letters on a given theme to win exciting prizes. The competition is an excellent way of making young people aware of the important role that postal services play in our societies. It develops their composition skills and ability to express their thoughts clearly. It also fosters enjoyment of letter writing and helps to strengthen the bonds of international friendship.

आज के इस तेज़ रफ्तार युग में, जब संवाद का अधिकांश माध्यम डिजिटल प्लेटफ़ॉर्म तक सीमित हो गया है, तब भी पत्र लेखन की परंपरा अपनी प्रासंगिकता और गरिमा बनाए हुए है। हाथ से लिखा गया पत्र मन की गहराइयों से निकली अनुभूतियों को जीवंत रूप में सामने रखता है और पाठक के हृदय से सीधा संवाद स्थापित करता है। उक्त उद्गार उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने 'यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल यूनियन अंतरराष्ट्रीय पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता-2025' के विजेता को सम्मानित करते हुए कही। अहमदाबाद स्थित एच. बी. कापड़िया प्राथमिक शाला की कक्षा 8वीं की छात्रा विश्वाबा ए. वाघेला को प्रतियोगिता में पूरे गुजरात परिमंडल में तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त करने पर पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव द्वारा ₹5,000 की धनराशि का चेक एवं प्रशस्ति पत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया। 

गौरतलब है कि यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल यूनियन द्वारा “कल्पना कीजिए कि आप सागर हैं। किसी को पत्र लिखकर समझाइए कि उन्हें आपकी अच्छी देखभाल क्यों और कैसे करनी चाहिए” विषय पर आयोजित पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता में गुजरात परिमंडल के विभिन्न स्कूलों के 995 विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया था। गुजरात परिमंडल में वड़ोदरा परिक्षेत्र से प्रांजल पी. अग्रवाल ने प्रथम स्थान, राजकोट परिक्षेत्र से एयर फोर्स स्कूल, जामनगर की सोनल आर. देर ने द्वितीय स्थान तथा अहमदाबाद मुख्यालय परिक्षेत्र से एच. बी. कापड़िया प्राथमिक शाला, अहमदाबाद की विश्वाबा ए. वाघेला ने तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर आयोजित यह प्रतियोगिता न केवल बच्चों की रचनात्मकता और लेखन क्षमता को प्रोत्साहित करने का माध्यम बनी, बल्कि उनमें पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता और संवेदनशीलता विकसित करने में भी सहायक सिद्ध हुई। विद्यार्थियों ने अपने पत्रों के माध्यम से समुद्र संरक्षण, पर्यावरणीय संतुलन और प्रकृति के प्रति जिम्मेदारी का सशक्त संदेश दिया। यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल यूनियन और भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा आयोजित यह पहल युवाओं विशेषकर जनरेशन-ज़ेड को सामाजिक व वैश्विक विषयों पर सोचने और अपनी भावनाओं को पत्र लेखन के माध्यम से अभिव्यक्त करने के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण मंच प्रदान करती है। अपने विचारों को रचनात्मक, संवेदनशील और प्रभावशाली शब्दों में व्यक्त करने का एक सुनहरा मौका देती है।

अहमदाबाद जीपीओ के सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर श्री अल्पेश शाह ने बताया कि भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा प्रति वर्ष 'यूनिवर्सल पोस्टल यूनियन अंतरराष्ट्रीय पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन 9 से 15 साल तक के बच्चों के लिए किया जाता है। इसमें राज्य या परिमंडल स्तर पर चयनित श्रेष्ठ तीन प्रतिभागियों को क्रमशः ₹25,000, ₹10,000 एवं ₹5,000 की पुरस्कार राशि प्रथम, द्वितीय एवं तृतीय पुरस्कार के रूप में प्रमाण पत्र सहित प्रदान की जाती है।

In today’s fast-paced era, when most communication has become confined to digital platforms, the tradition of letter writing continues to retain its relevance and dignity. A handwritten letter vividly conveys emotions arising from the depths of the heart and establishes a direct connection with the reader. These views were expressed by Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, IPoS, Postmaster General, North Gujarat Region, while felicitating the winner of the Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Letter Writing Competition–2025. On this occasion, Vishwaba A. Vaghela, a Class 8 student of H. B. Kapadia Primary School, Ahmedabad, was felicitated by the Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav with a cheque of ₹5,000 and a Certificate of Appreciation for securing third position in the Gujarat Circle in the competition. It is noteworthy that 995 students from various schools of Gujarat circle participated in the letter writing competition organized by Universal Postal Union on the subject "Imagine you are the ocean. Write a letter to someone explaining why and how they should take good care of you.”  At the Gujarat Circle level, Pranjal P. Agrawal from Vadodara Region secured the first position, Sonal R. Der from Air Force School, Jamnagar from Rajkot Region secured the second position, and Vishwaba A. Vaghela from H. B. Kapadia Primary School from Head Quarter Region, Ahmedabad secured the third position.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that this internationally organised competition not only served as a platform to encourage youth's creativity and writing skills, but also proved helpful in developing awareness and sensitivity towards environmental conservation. Through their letters, the students conveyed a strong message on ocean conservation, environmental balance, and responsibility towards nature. This initiative, jointly organised by the Universal Postal Union and the India Post, provides an important platform for young people especially Gen-Z to think about social and global issues and express their feelings through letter writing. It also offers a valuable opportunity to articulate ideas in a creative, sensitive, and impactful manner.

Senior Postmaster, Ahmedabad GPO Shri Alpesh Shah told that Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Letter Writing Competition is organised by Department of Posts every year for children aged 9 to 15 years. At the State or Circle level, the top three selected participants are awarded prize money of ₹25,000, ₹10,000, and ₹5,000 for the first, second, and third positions respectively, along with certificates.

On this occasion, Sr. Postmaster Ahmedabad GPO Shri Alpesh Shah, Assistant Director Shri V M. Vahora, Shri M M Shaikh, Shri Ritul Gandhi, Assistant Superintendent Shri Jinesh Patel, Shri Ramesh Patel, Shri Ronak Shah, Shri Bhavin Prajapati, Assistant Account Officer Shri Ramswroop Mangawa, Inspector Ms. Payal Patel, Shri Yogendra Rathod, Dixit Rami along with other officials were present.

આજના ઝડપી ગતિના યુગમાં, જ્યાં સંવાદના મોટાભાગના સાધનો ડિજિટલ પ્લેટફોર્મ સુધી સીમિત થઈ ગયા છે, ત્યાં પણ પત્રલેખનની પરંપરા આજે પણ પોતાની પ્રાસંગિકતા અને ગૌરવ જાળવી રાખે છે. હાથથી લખાયેલ પત્ર મનની ઊંડાઈમાંથી નીકળેલી લાગણીઓને જીવંત સ્વરૂપે રજૂ કરે છે અને વાચકના હૃદય સાથે સીધો સંવાદ સ્થાપે છે. ઉપરોક્ત વિચાર ઉત્તર ગુજરાત પરિક્ષેત્રના પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે ‘યુનિવર્સલ પોસ્ટલ યુનિયન આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય પત્ર લેખન સ્પર્ધા–2025’ની વિજેતા વિદ્યાર્થીનીને સન્માનિત કરતી વખતે વ્યક્ત કર્યા. આ પ્રસંગે અમદાવાદ સ્થિત એચ.બી. કાપડિયા પ્રાથમિક શાળાની ધોરણ 8ની વિદ્યાર્થીની વિશ્વાબા એ. વાઘેલાને સમગ્ર ગુજરાત પરિમંડળમાં તૃતીય સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત કરવા બદલ પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવ દ્વારા રૂપિયા 5,000/- નો ચેક તથા પ્રશસ્તિપત્ર આપી સન્માનિત કરવામાં આવી. ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે યુનિવર્સલ પોસ્ટલ યુનિયન દ્વારા “કલ્પના કરો કે તમે સમુદ્ર છો. કોઈને પત્ર લખીને સમજાવો કે તમારું યોગ્ય સંરક્ષણ કેમ અને કેવી રીતે કરવું જોઈએ” વિષય પર આયોજિત આ આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય પત્ર લેખન સ્પર્ધામાં ગુજરાત પરિમંડળના વિવિધ શાળાઓના કુલ 995 વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ ભાગ લીધો હતો. ગુજરાત પરિમંડળમાં વડોદરા પરિક્ષેત્રના પ્રાંજલ પી. અગ્રવાલે પ્રથમ સ્થાન, રાજકોટ પરિક્ષેત્રની એરફોર્સ સ્કૂલ, જામનગરની સોનલ આર. ડેરે દ્વિતીય સ્થાન અને અમદાવાદ મુખ્યાલય પરિક્ષેત્રની એચ.બી. કાપડિયા પ્રાથમિક શાળા, અમદાવાદની વિશ્વાબા એ. વાઘેલાએ તૃતીય સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે આયોજિત આ સ્પર્ધા માત્ર બાળકોની સર્જનાત્મકતા અને લેખન ક્ષમતાને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવાનું માધ્યમ બની નથી, પરંતુ તેમના અંદર પર્યાવરણ સંરક્ષણ પ્રત્યે જાગૃતિ અને સંવેદનશીલતા વિકસાવવામાં પણ સહાયક સાબિત થઈ છે. બાળકોએ પોતાના પત્રો દ્વારા સમુદ્ર સંરક્ષણ, પર્યાવરણીય સંતુલન અને પ્રકૃતિ પ્રત્યેની જવાબદારીનો સશક્ત સંદેશ આપ્યો છે. યુનિવર્સલ પોસ્ટલ યુનિયન તથા ભારતીય ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા આયોજિત આ પહેલ યુવાનોને ખાસ કરીને જેન-Z ને સામાજિક અને વૈશ્વિક વિષયો પર વિચાર કરવા તથા પત્રલેખન દ્વારા પોતાની ભાવનાઓ અભિવ્યક્ત કરવા માટે એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ મંચ પૂરો પાડે છે. આ સ્પર્ધા તેમને પોતાના વિચારોને સર્જનાત્મક, સંવેદનશીલ અને અસરકારક શબ્દોમાં રજૂ કરવાની એક સુવર્ણ તક પ્રદાન કરે છે.

અમદાવાદ જીપીઓના સિનિયર પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર શ્રી અલ્પેશ શાહે જણાવ્યું કે ભારતીય ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા દર વર્ષે 9 થી 15 વર્ષના બાળકો માટે ‘યુનિવર્સલ પોસ્ટલ યુનિયન આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય પત્ર લેખન સ્પર્ધા’નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવે છે. આ સ્પર્ધામાં રાજ્ય અથવા પરિમંડળ સ્તરે પસંદ થયેલા શ્રેષ્ઠ ત્રણ પ્રતિભાશાળી પ્રતિભાગીઓને અનુક્રમે પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય પુરસ્કાર તરીકે રૂપિયા 25,000/-, રૂપિયા 10,000/- અને રૂપિયા 5,000/-ની ઈનામ રકમ પ્રમાણપત્ર સાથે પ્રદાન કરવામાં આવે છે.

Department of Posts announces 'Dhai Akhar' National Letter Writing Competition on the topic ‘A Letter to My Role Model’

भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा लोगों में पत्र लेखन को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु राष्ट्रीय स्तर पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता 'ढाई आखर' का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। यह पहल न केवल लेखन कौशल को निखारने का अवसर प्रदान करती है, बल्कि लोगों को अपनी संवेदनाओं को सशक्त शब्दों में व्यक्त करने का भी मंच देती है। उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र, अहमदाबाद के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इस प्रतियोगिता में ‘एक पत्र अपने रोल मॉडल के नाम’ विषय पर प्रतिभागियों को अपने विचारों को व्यक्त करते हुए एक पत्र लिखना होगा, जिसे संबंधित राज्य या परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल को संबोधित करना है। इस प्रतियोगिता में पत्र चुने जाने पर पाँच हजार से पचास हजार रूपये तक का पुरस्कार भी मिलेगा। इसके लिए विभिन्न स्कूल-कॉलेज डाक विभाग के साथ मिलकर अपने यहाँ पर आयोजन कर सकते हैं। इसकी अंतिम तिथि 08 दिसम्बर, 2025 है।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि इस  'ढाई आखर' पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता में किसी भी उम्र के लोग भाग ले सकते हैं। पहला वर्ग 18 वर्ष तक तथा दूसरा 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग का होगा। पत्र डाक विभाग द्वारा जारी अंतर्देशीय पत्र अथवा लिफाफे में ही स्वीकार्य होगा,  जिसमें क्रमशः 500 और 1,000 शब्दों में अंग्रेजी, हिन्दी अथवा स्थानीय भाषा में हाथ से पत्र लिखा जा सकता है। पत्र में अपना पूरा नाम, पता, जन्मतिथि, मोबाइल नंबर और विद्यालय के नाम सहित संबंधित परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल के पते पर 08 दिसम्बर, 2025 तक भेजना होगा।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को राज्य और राष्ट्रीय स्तरों पर विभिन्न 4 श्रेणियों में तीन-तीन पुरस्कार प्रदान किए जाएंगे। इनमें परिमंडलीय (राज्य) स्तर पर चयनित श्रेष्ठ पत्रों को प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय श्रेणी में क्रमश: 25 हजार, 10 हजार व  5 हजार रूपए का पुरस्कार दिया जायेगा। राष्ट्रीय  स्तर पर चयनित श्रेष्ठ पत्रों को प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय श्रेणी में क्रमश: 50 हजार, 25 हजार व 10 हजार रूपए का पुरस्कार दिया जायेगा। कुल मिलाकर पूरे देश में 40 लाख 20 हजार रूपये के पुरस्कार विजेताओं को दिए जायेंगे। इस संबंध में ज्यादा जानकारी के लिए विभिन्न मंडलों के अधीक्षक और प्रधान डाकघर के पोस्टमास्टर से संपर्क किया जा सकता है।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि वर्तमान डिजिटल युग में जहाँ संवाद के साधन तेज़ और तात्कालिक हो गए हैं, वहीं पत्र लेखन की कला आज भी अपनी आत्मीयता और संवेदनशीलता के कारण प्रासंगिक बनी हुई है। पत्र केवल शब्दों का आदान-प्रदान नहीं, बल्कि भावनाओं, स्मृतियों और मानवीय संबंधों की गहराई को व्यक्त करने का माध्यम है। 'ढाई आखर' एक राष्ट्रीय स्तर की पहल है, जिसका उद्देश्य युवाओं में रचनात्मकता, मौलिकता व आत्म-अभिव्यक्ति को प्रोत्साहित करके उन्हें डाक और फिलेटली से पुनः परिचित कराना है। यह जन सामान्य के लिए उनके लेखन कौशल और प्रतिभा को प्रदर्शित करने का एक मंच भी है। ‘ढाई आखर’ अभियान शब्दों के माध्यम से दिलों को जोड़ने का एक प्रयास है — यह न केवल पत्र लेखन की कला का उत्सव है, बल्कि संवेदनाओं को सजीव करने और विचारों को साकार रूप देने का अवसर भी प्रदान करता है।

ભારતીય ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા લોકોને પત્રલેખન માટે પ્રોત્સાહિત કરવા હેતુથી રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરની પત્રલેખન સ્પર્ધા ‘ઢાઈ આખર’નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે. આ પહેલ માત્ર લેખનકૌશલ્યને ઉન્નત કરવાની તક પૂરું પાડતી નથી, પરંતુ લોકોને તેમની લાગણીઓને શક્તિશાળી શબ્દોમાં વ્યક્ત કરવા માટે એક મંચ પણ પૂરું પાડે છે. ઉત્તર ગુજરાત પરિક્ષેત્ર, અમદાવાદના પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે આ સ્પર્ધામાં ‘તમારા રોલ મોડલને એક પત્ર’ વિષય પર ભાગ લેનારાઓએ પોતાના વિચારો વ્યક્ત કરતો એક પત્ર લખવાનો રહેશે, જે સંબંધિત રાજ્ય અથવા પરિમંડળના ચીફ પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલને સંબોધિત કરવાનો રહેશે. આ સ્પર્ધામાં પસંદ થયેલ પત્રને રૂપિયા પાંચ હજારથી પચાસ હજાર સુધીનું ઇનામ મળશે. આ માટે વિવિધ શાળા-કૉલેજો ડાક વિભાગ સાથે મળીને પોતાને ત્યાં આયોજન કરી શકે છે. સ્પર્ધાની છેલ્લી તારીખ 8 ડિસેમ્બર, 2025 છે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે આ ‘ઢાઈ આખર’ પત્રલેખન સ્પર્ધામાં કોઈપણ વયના લોકો ભાગ લઈ શકે છે. પ્રથમ વર્ગ 18 વર્ષ સુધીના અને બીજો વર્ગ 18 વર્ષથી વધુ વયના ભાગ લેનારાઓ માટે રહેશે. પત્ર ફક્ત ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા જારી કરાયેલા આંતરદેશીય પત્ર અથવા કવર પર જ સ્વીકાર્ય રહેશે, જેમાં અનુક્રમે 500 અને 1000 શબ્દોમાં અંગ્રેજી, હિન્દી અથવા સ્થાનિક ભાષામાં હાથેથી લખાયેલ પત્ર મોકલી શકાય છે. પત્રમાં પોતાનું પૂરું નામ, સરનામું, જન્મતારીખ, મોબાઇલ નંબર અને શાળાનું નામ લખીને સંબંધિત પરિમંડળના ચીફ પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલના સરનામે 8 ડિસેમ્બર, 2025 સુધી મોકલવાનો રહેશે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે સ્પર્ધાના વિજેતાઓને રાજ્ય અને રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે વિવિધ ચાર શ્રેણીઓમાં ત્રણ-ત્રણ પુરસ્કારો આપવામાં આવશે. પરિમંડળીય (રાજ્ય) સ્તરે પસંદ થયેલા શ્રેષ્ઠ પત્રોને અનુક્રમે પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય ક્રમે રૂપિયા 25 હજાર, 10 હજાર અને 5 હજારનું પુરસ્કાર આપવામાં આવશે. રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે પસંદ થયેલા શ્રેષ્ઠ પત્રોને અનુક્રમે પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય ક્રમે રૂપિયા 50 હજાર, 25 હજાર અને 10 હજારનું પુરસ્કાર આપવામાં આવશે. આ રીતે દેશભરમાં કુલ રૂપિયા 40 લાખ 20 હજારના પુરસ્કારો વિજેતાઓને આપવામાં આવશે. આ સંબંધમાં વધુ માહિતી માટે વિવિધ મંડળોના અધિક્ષકો તથા હેડ પોસ્ટ ઓફિસના પોસ્ટમાસ્ટરનો સંપર્ક કરી શકાય છે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે વર્તમાન ડિજિટલ યુગમાં જ્યાં સંવાદના સાધનો ઝડપી અને તાત્કાલિક બની ગયા છે, ત્યાં પણ પત્રલેખનની કલા તેની આત્મિયતા અને સંવેદનશીલતાના કારણે આજે પણ એટલી જ પ્રાસંગિક છે. પત્ર માત્ર શબ્દોના આદાન-પ્રદાનનું માધ્યમ નથી, પરંતુ લાગણીઓ, સ્મૃતિઓ અને માનવીય સંબંધોની ઊંડાણ વ્યક્ત કરવાની એક સુંદર રીત છે. ‘ઢાઈ આખર’ એક રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરની પહેલ છે, જેનો હેતુ યુવાનોમાં સર્જનાત્મકતા, મૌલિકતા અને આત્મઅભિવ્યક્તિને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરીને તેમને ફરીથી ડાક અને ફિલેટલી સાથે જોડવાનો છે. આ અભિયાન સામાન્ય જનતાને તેમના લેખનકૌશલ્ય અને પ્રતિભા પ્રદર્શિત કરવાની તક પૂરું પાડે છે. ‘ઢાઈ આખર’ અભિયાન શબ્દોના માધ્યમથી દિલોને જોડવાનો એક પ્રયાસ છે — આ માત્ર પત્રલેખન કલાનો ઉત્સવ નથી, પરંતુ લાગણીઓને જીવંત બનાવવાની અને વિચારોને સાકાર સ્વરૂપ આપવાની એક સુંદર તક પણ છે.

'Dhai Akhar’ Letter Writing Competition aims to encourage Creativity, Originality, and Self-Expression Among Youth — Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav

Department of Posts is organizing National Letter Writing Competition, 'Dhai Akhar' to encourage letter writing among the people. This initiative encourages individuals to express their emotions through meaningful words and helps them to enhance their writing abilities. Postmaster General of North Gujarat Region, Ahmedabad Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, said that participants are required to write a letter on the subject “A Letter to My Role Model”, expressing their thoughts, and address it to the Chief Postmaster General of the concerned State or Circle. Selected letters in this competition will be awarded prizes ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹50,000. Various schools and colleges can collaborate with the Department of Posts to organize this event.The last date for submission is 8th December 2025.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that people of any age can participate in 'Dhai Akhar' letter writing competition. The first category is for participants up to 18 years of age, while the second category is for those above 18 years. Letters will only be accepted in the inland letter or envelope issued by the Department of Posts, and can be handwritten in English, Hindi, or any vernacular language in 500 and 1,000 words respectively. Letter must include the participant’s full name, address, date of birth, mobile number, and school/college name, and should be sent to the Chief Postmaster General of the respective circle by 8th December 2025.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that the winners of the competition will be awarded in four different categories at the state and national levels, with three prizes in each category. At the circle (state) level, the selected best letters will receive ₹25,000, ₹10,000, and ₹5,000 for first, second, and third positions, respectively. Prizes of ₹50,000/-, ₹25,000/- and ₹10,000/-will be given to the best letters selected at National level in first, second and third positions respectively. Overall, prizes worth Rs. 40.20 lakhs will be given to the winners across the country. For more information, participants can contact the Superintendents of their respective Divisions and the Postmasters of the Head Post offices.

आज की तेज़-तर्रार दुनिया में, जहाँ संचार बड़े पैमाने पर डिजिटल प्लेटफ़ॉर्म पर स्थानांतरित हो गया है, पत्र लिखने की कला अभी भी जीवंत है। पत्र हमारे दिलों में एक विशेष स्थान रखते हैं क्योंकि वे अपने साथ पुरानी यादों, आत्मीयता और व्यक्तिगत स्पर्श की भावना रखते हैं जिसे टेक्स्ट संदेश या ईमेल में नहीं मिल सकता। ऐसे में 'ढाई आखर' अभियान न केवल पत्र लेखन की कला का जश्न है, बल्कि यह देश भर के व्यक्तियों के लिए अपने विचारों, भावनाओं व विचारों को एक अर्थपूर्ण और दिल से व्यक्त करने का अवसर भी प्रदान करता है। उक्त उद्गार उत्तर गुजरात सह सौराष्ट्र एवं कच्छ परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने अमरेली प्रधान डाकघर में व्यक्त किये। भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा वर्ष 2024–25 में आयोजित 'ढाई आखर' राष्ट्रीय पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता में लिफाफा श्रेणी में 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग श्रेणी में अमरेली के श्री जयकुमार वाई. गोल को पूरे गुजरात परिमंडल में द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करने पर पोस्टमास्टर जनरल ने ₹10,000 का चेक और प्रमाण पत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया। पश्चिम गुजरात वीज कंपनी लि.,लाठी में जूनियर असिस्टेंट के पद पर कार्यरत श्री जयकुमार ने पत्र लेखन को एक अभिरुचि के तौर पर अपनाया और इस सम्मान के हक़दार बने। इस अवसर पर अमरेली मंडल के अधीक्षक डाकघर श्री बी. एन. पटेल मौजूद रहे।  

गौरतलब है कि डाक विभाग द्वारा ‘लेखन का आनंद: डिजिटल युग में पत्रों का महत्व’ विषय पर आयोजित 'ढाई आखर' राष्ट्रीय पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता 2024-25 में गुजरात परिमंडल से अंतर्देशीय पत्र श्रेणी के 18 वर्ष तक के वर्ग में सुरेंद्रनगर की वैष्णवीबा बी. परमार, हीरल आर. भूसडिया और नाडियाद की किंजल एल. बारिया ने क्रमश: प्रथम, द्वितीय, और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। 18 वर्ष से ऊपर के वर्ग में नवसारी की दिव्या सुरेशचंद्र परमार, अहमदाबाद के सलीम हिंगोरा और नवसारी की साजी जॉय चक्कलिकल ने क्रमश: प्रथम, द्वितीय, और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। लिफाफा श्रेणी में 18 वर्ष तक की आयु वर्ग की विजेताओं में खेड़ा की क्रिशा पी. काच्छिया पटेल, नवसारी की विद्या पी. धिम्मर और खुशबू एन. मिस्त्री ने क्रमश: प्रथम, द्वितीय, और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। वहीं, 18 वर्ष से ऊपर की श्रेणी में राजकोट के सुरेंद्रसिंह बैरवा, अमरेली के जयकुमार वाई. गोल और डांग के विभूतिबेन जे. बिरारी ने क्रमश: प्रथम, द्वितीय, और तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया। इस प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन पूरे देश में 14 सितंबर 2024 से 31 जनवरी 2025 तक किया गया था।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि युवाओं के बीच 'ढाई आखर' जैसी प्रतियोगिताएं डिजिटल युग में भी पत्र लेखन की परंपरा को जीवित रखती हैं और जनमानस को इस भावनात्मक माध्यम से जोड़ती हैं।

Keeping the Tradition of Letter Writing Alive Among Youth is Essential in the Digital Age: Postmaster General Krishna Kumar Yadav

In today’s fast-paced world, where communication has largely shifted to digital platforms, the art of letter writing still remains vibrant. Letters hold a special place in our hearts as they carry a sense of nostalgia, heartfelt connection, and personal touch that cannot be matched by text messages or emails. In such a situation, the ‘Dhai Akhar’ campaign is not just a celebration of the art of letter writing but also provides individuals across the country with a meaningful platform to express their thoughts, emotions, and ideas from the heart. These sentiments were expressed by Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, North Gujarat Region along with Saurashtra and Kutch Region at  Amreli Head Post Office. In the 'Dhai Akhar' National Letter Writing Competition organized by the Department of Posts for the year 2024–25, Shri Jaykumar Y. Gol from Amreli secured second place in the Gujarat Circle in the envelope category for participants above 18 years of age. In recognition of this achievement, the Postmaster General presented him with a cheque of ₹10,000 and a certificate of appreciation. Shri Jaykumar, who works as a Junior Assistant at the Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd., Lathi, has pursued letter writing as a hobby and earned this well-deserved recognition. On this occasion, Superintendent of Post Offices, Amreli Division Shri B. N. Patel was also present.

It is noteworthy that in the 'Dhai Akhar' National Letter Writing Competition 2024–25, organized by the Department of Posts on the theme "The Joy of Writing: Importance of Letters in the Digital Age", several participants from the Gujarat Circle were recognized for their exceptional contributions. In the Inland Letter Card category for participants up to 18 years of age, Vaishnaviba B. Parmar from Surendranagar secured the first position, followed by Heeral R. Bhusadia and Kinjal L. Baria from Nadiad in second and third positions, respectively. In the same category for participants above 18 years of age, Divya Sureshchandra Parmar from Navsari secured the first position, while Salim Hingora from Ahmedabad and Saji Joy Chakkalikkal from Navsari achieved the second and third positions. In the Envelope category for participants up to 18 years, Krisha P. Kachhiya Patel from Kheda secured the first position, followed by Vidya P. Dhimmar from Navsari and Khushboo N. Mistry in second and third places, respectively. For participants above 18 years in the Envelope category, Surendrasinh Bairwa from Rajkot secured the first position, Jaykumar Y. Gol from Amreli secured the second position, and Vibhutiben J. Birari from Dang secured the third position. This nationwide competition was held from 14th September 2024 to 31st January 2025.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav stated that competitions like ‘Dhai Akhar’ help keep the tradition of letter writing alive among the youth even in the digital age and connect people through this emotional medium.

આજના ઝડપી યુગમાં, જ્યાં સંદેશાવ્યવહાર મોટાભાગે ડિજિટલ પ્લેટફોર્મ તરફ વળી ગયો છે, પત્ર લખવાની કળા હજુ પણ જીવંત છે. પત્રો આપણા હૃદયમાં એક ખાસ સ્થાન ધરાવે છે કારણ કે તે પોતાની સાથે યાદો, આત્મીયતા અને એક વ્યક્તિગત સ્પર્શ લઈને જાય છે જે ટેક્સ્ટ સંદેશાઓ કે ઇમેઇલ્સમાં જોવા મળતો નથી.આમ,  'ઢાઈ આખર' ઝુંબેશ ફક્ત પત્ર લખવાની કળાનો ઉત્સવ નથી, પરંતુ દેશભરના વ્યક્તિઓને અર્થપૂર્ણ અને હૃદયસ્પર્શી રીતે તેમના વિચારો, લાગણીઓ અને મંતવ્યો વ્યક્ત કરવાની તક પણ પૂરી પાડે છે. ઉપરોક્ત વિચાર ઉત્તર ગુજરાત તથા  સૌરાષ્ટ્ર અને કચ્છ પરિક્ષેત્ર ના પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે અમરેલી મુખ્ય પોસ્ટ ઓફિસ ખાતે વ્યક્ત કર્યા. ભારતીય ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા વર્ષ 2024–25માં આયોજિત ‘ઢાઈ ખર’ રાષ્ટ્રીય પત્રલેખન સ્પર્ધામાં લિફાફા  શ્રેણીમાં 18 વર્ષથી વધુ ઉંમરના વર્ગમાં અમરેલીના શ્રી જયકુમાર વાઈ. ગોલને સમગ્ર ગુજરાત પરિમંડલમાં દ્વિતીય સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત થયા પર પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલે ₹10,000નો ચેક અને પ્રમાણપત્ર સાથે સન્માનિત કર્યા. પશ્ચિમ ગુજરાત વીજ કંપની લિ., લાઠી ખાતે જુનિયર આસિસ્ટન્ટ તરીકે કાર્યરત શ્રી જયકુમારે પત્રલેખનને એક શોખ તરીકે અપનાવ્યું છે અને આ સન્માનના હકદાર બન્યા છે. આ અવસરે અમરેલી મંડળના અધિક્ષક શ્રી બી. એન. પટેલ હાજર રહ્યા.
 
ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા ‘લેખનનો આનંદ: ડિજિટલ યુગમાં પત્રોનું મહત્વ’ વિષય પર આયોજિત 'ઢાઈ આખર' રાષ્ટ્રીય પત્રલેખન સ્પર્ધા 2024-25માં ગુજરાત પરિમંડલના અંતરદેશીય પત્ર શ્રેણી (18 વર્ષ સુધીના વર્ગ)માં સુરેન્દ્રનગરની વૈષણવીબા બી. પરમારે પ્રથમ, હીરલ આર. ભૂસડિયાએ દ્વિતીય અને નડિયાદની કિંજલ એલ. બારિયાએ તૃતીય સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું. 18 વર્ષથી ઉપરના વર્ગમાં નવસારીની દિવ્યા સુરેશચંદ્ર પરમારે પ્રથમ, અમદાવાદના સલીમ હિંગોરાએ દ્વિતીય અને નવસારીની સાજી જોય ચક્કલિકલએ તૃતીય સ્થાન મેળવ્યું. લિફાફા  શ્રેણીમાં 18 વર્ષ સુધીના વય વર્ગના વિજેતાઓમાં ખેડાના ક્રિશા પી. કાછિયાપટેલ પ્રથમ, નવસારીની વિદ્યા પી. ધીમ્મર દ્વિતીય અને ખુશ્બુ એન. મિસ્ત્રીએ તૃતીય સ્થાન પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું.  જયારે 18 વર્ષથી ઉપરની શ્રેણીમાં રાજકોટના સુરેન્દ્રસિંહ બૈરવાએ પ્રથમ, અમરેલીના જયકુમાર વાઈ. ગોલે દ્વિતીય અને ડાંગની વિભૂતિબેન જે. બિરારીએ તૃતીય સ્થાન મેળવ્યું. આ સ્પર્ધાનું આયોજન સમગ્ર દેશમાં 14 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2024થી 31 જાન્યુઆરી 2025 સુધી કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે યુવાનોમાં ‘ઢાઈ આખર’ જેવી સ્પર્ધાઓ ડિજિટલ યુગમાં પણ પત્રલેખનની પરંપરાને જીવંત રાખે છે અને જનમાનસને આ ભાવનાત્મક માધ્યમ દ્વારા જોડે છે.

Department of Posts will organize 'Dhai Akhar' National Letter Writing Competition on the topic ‘The Joy of Writing : The Importance of Letters in the Digital Age’

Department of Posts is organizing 'Dhai Akhar' National Letter Writing Competition on the topic ‘The Joy of Writing:The Importance of Letters in the Digital Age.’ Postmaster General of the North Gujarat Region, Ahmedabad Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, said that various schools and colleges can collaborate with the Department of Posts to organize this event. Participants will be required to write a letter expressing their thoughts, addressed to the Chief Postmaster General, Gujarat Circle, Ahmedabad-380001 with full name, address, date of birth, mobile number and name of the school. Selected letters in this competition will be eligible for prizes ranging from ₹5,000 to ₹50,000. The last date for submission is December 14, 2024.

Postmaster General, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that people of any age can participate in 'DhaiAkhar' letter writing competition. The first category will be up to 18 years and the second will be above 18 years of age. Letter will be accepted only in an inland letter or in envelope issued by the Department of Posts, in which letter can be written by hand in English, Hindi or any vernacular language in 500 and 1,000 words respectively.

Postmaster General, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav informed that three prizes each in different 4 categories will be given to the winners of the competition at the Circle and National levels. Best letter selected at the Circle (State) will be given prizes of ₹25,000/-, ₹10,000/- and ₹5,000/- in the first, second and third category respectively. Prizes of ₹50,000/-, ₹25,000/- and ₹10,000/-will be given to the best letters selected at National level in first, second and third category respectively. Overall, prizes worth Rs. 40.20 lakhs will be given to the winners across the country. For more information, participants can contact the Superintendents of their respective Divisions and the Postmasters of the Head Post offices.

पत्रों की दुनिया से लोगों को जोड़ने हेतु डाक विभाग की अनूठी पहल : राष्ट्रीय पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता 'ढाई आखर' का आयोजन- पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव

भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा लोगों में पत्र लेखन को प्रोत्साहित करने हेतु राष्ट्रीय स्तर पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता 'ढाई आखर' का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। उत्तर गुजरात परिक्षेत्र, अहमदाबाद के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इस प्रतियोगिता में ‘लेखन का आनंद: डिजिटल युग में पत्रों का महत्व’ विषय पर प्रतिभागियों को अपने विचारों को व्यक्त करते हुए एक पत्र लिखना होगा, जिसे चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल, गुजरात परिमंडल, अहमदाबाद-380001 को संबोधित करना है। इस प्रतियोगिता में पत्र चुने जाने पर पाँच हजार से पचास हजार रूपये तक का पुरस्कार भी मिलेगा।  इसके लिए विभिन्न स्कूल-कॉलेज डाक विभाग के साथ मिलकर अपने यहाँ पर आयोजन कर सकते हैं। इसकी अंतिम तिथि 14 दिसम्बर, 2024  है।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि इस  'ढाई आखर' पत्र लेखन प्रतियोगिता में किसी भी उम्र के लोग भाग ले सकते हैं। पहला वर्ग 18 वर्ष तक तथा दूसरा 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग का होगा। पत्र डाक विभाग द्वारा जारी अंतर्देशीय पत्र अथवा लिफाफे में ही स्वीकार्य होगा,  जिसमें क्रमशः 500 और 1,000 शब्दों में अंग्रेजी, हिन्दी अथवा स्थानीय भाषा में हाथ से पत्र लिखा जा सकता है। पत्र में अपना पूरा नाम, पता, जन्मतिथि, मोबाइल नंबर और विद्यालय के नाम सहित संबंधित परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल के पते पर 14 दिसम्बर, 2024 तक भेजना होगा।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया  कि प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को राज्य और राष्ट्रीय स्तरों पर विभिन्न 4 श्रेणियों में तीन-तीन पुरस्कार प्रदान किए जाएंगे। इनमें परिमंडलीय (राज्य) स्तर पर चयनित श्रेष्ठ पत्रों को प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय श्रेणी में क्रमश: 25 हजार, 10 हजार व  5 हजार रूपए का पुरस्कार दिया जायेगा। राष्ट्रीय  स्तर पर चयनित श्रेष्ठ पत्रों को प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय श्रेणी में क्रमश: 50 हजार, 25 हजार व 10 हजार रूपए का पुरस्कार दिया जायेगा। कुल मिलाकर पूरे देश में 40 लाख 20 हजार रूपये के पुरस्कार विजेताओं को दिए जायेंगे। इस संबंध में ज्यादा जानकारी के लिए विभिन्न मंडलों के अधीक्षक और प्रधान डाकघर के पोस्टमास्टर से संपर्क किया जा सकता है।

ભારતીય ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા લોકોને પત્ર લેખન માટે પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે પત્ર લેખન પ્રતિયોગીતા'ઢાઈ આખર'નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે. ઉત્તર ગુજરાત પરીક્ષેત્ર, અમદાવાદના પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે આ પ્રતિયોગીતામાં 'લેખનનો આનંદ: ડિજિટલ યુગમાં પત્રોનું મહત્વ' વિષય પર પ્રતિભાગીઓએ તેમના વિચારોને વ્યક્ત કરતો એક પત્ર લખવાનો રહેશે, જેને મુખ્ય પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ, ગુજરાત પરિમંડલ, અમદાવાદ-380001ને સંબોધિત કરવાનોરહેશે. આ પ્રતિયોગીતામાં પસંદ કરવામાં આવેલા પત્રો માટે પાંચ હજારથી પચાસ હજાર રૂપિયાં સુધીનું પુરસ્કાર આપવામાંઆવશે. આ માટે વિવિધ શાળાઓ અને કોલેજો ડાક વિભાગ સાથે મળીને પોતાને ત્યાં આયોજન કરી શકે છે. આ પ્રતિયોગીતાની અંતિમ તારીખ 14 ડિસેમ્બર, 2024 છે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે કહ્યું કે આ 'ઢાઈ આખર' પત્ર લેખન પ્રતિયોગીતામાં કોઈપણ વયના લોકો ભાગ લઈ શકે છે. પ્રથમ વર્ગ 18 વર્ષ સુધી અને બીજો વર્ગ 18 વર્ષથી વધુ વયના લોકો માટે હશે. પત્ર ડાક વિભાગ દ્વારા જારી કરવામાં આવેલ આંતરદેશીય પત્ર અથવા પરબિડીયામાં જ માન્ય હશે, જેમાં અનુક્રમે 500 અને 1,000 શબ્દોમાં અંગ્રેજી, હિન્દી અથવા સ્થાનિક ભાષામાં હાથથી પત્ર લખી શકાય છે. પત્રમાં તમારું પૂર્ણ નામ, સરનામું, જન્મતારીખ, મોબાઇલ નંબર અને શાળાના નામ સાથે સંબંધિત પરિમંડલના મુખ્ય પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલના સરનામે 14 ડિસેમ્બર, 2024 સુધી મોકલવાનું રહેશે.

પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે જણાવ્યું કે પ્રતિયોગીતાના વિજેતાઓને રાજ્ય અને રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે વિવિધ 4 શ્રેણીઓમાં ત્રણ-ત્રણ પુરસ્કાર આપવામાં આવશે. તેમાં પરિમંડલ (રાજ્ય) સ્તરે પસંદ કરવામાં આવેલા શ્રેષ્ઠ પત્રોને પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય શ્રેણીમાં અનુક્રમે 25 હજાર, 10 હજાર અને 5 હજાર રૂપિયાનું પુરસ્કાર આપવામાં આવશે. રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્તરે પસંદ કરવામાં આવેલા શ્રેષ્ઠ પત્રોને પ્રથમ, દ્વિતીય અને તૃતીય શ્રેણીમાં અનુક્રમે  50 હજાર, 25 હજાર અને 10 હજાર રૂપિયાનું પુરસ્કાર આપવામાં આવશે. કુલ મળીને સમગ્ર દેશમાં 40 લાખ 20 હજાર રૂપિયાનાં પુરસ્કાર વિજેતાઓને આપવામાં આવશે. આ સંબંધમાં વધુ માહિતી માટે વિવિધ પરિમંડલોના અધીક્ષકો અને મુખ્ય ડાકઘરના  પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર સાથે સંપર્ક કરી શકાય છે.

 પોસ્ટમાસ્ટર જનરલ શ્રી કૃષ્ણ કુમાર યાદવે કહ્યું કે આજની ઝડપભરી દુનિયામાં, જ્યાં સંચાર વિશાળ પ્રમાણમાં ડિજિટલ પ્લેટફોર્મ પર પરિવર્તિત થઈ ગયો છે, ત્યાં પત્ર લખવાની કળા હજુ પણ જીવંત છે. પત્રો આપણા હદયમાં એક વિશેષ સ્થાન ધરાવે છે કારણ કે તેઓ સાથે જૂની યાદોને, ઘનિષ્ઠતા અને વ્યકિતગત ભાવનાનો અનુભવ લાવે છે, જે ટેક્સ્ટ સંદેશા અથવા ઈમેલમાં મળતો નથી. આમ, 'ઢાઈ આખર' અભિયાન માત્ર પત્ર લખવાની કળાની ઉજવણી નથી, પરંતુ દેશભરમાંના લોકો માટે તેમના વિચારો, લાગણીઓ અને વિચારોને એક અર્થપૂર્ણ અને દિલથી વ્યક્ત કરવાનો અવસર પણ આપે છે.
