डाक विभाग ने स्वामी करपात्री जी महाराज की स्मृति में जारी किया डाक टिकट

 भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा स्वामी करपात्री जी महाराज की स्मृति में 29 जून, 2022 को एक स्मारक डाक टिकट जारी किया गया। नई दिल्ली स्थित साउथ ब्लाक में उक्त डाक टिकट भारत सरकार के रक्षा मंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह द्वारा संचार विभाग के राज्य मंत्री श्री देबु सिंह चौहान, रक्षा एवं पर्यटन विभाग के राज्य मंत्री श्री अजय भट्ट, स्वामी अभिषेक ब्रह्मचारी, चीफ पोस्टमास्टर जनरल दिल्ली परिमंडल श्रीमती मंजू कुमार की उपस्थिति में जारी किया गया। वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि 5 रूपये का उक्त डाक टिकट वाराणसी प्रधान डाकघर में बिक्री के लिए उपलब्ध है। 

गौरतलब है कि उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रतापगढ़ में जन्मे स्वामी करपात्री जी महाराज ने काशी में यथोचित ज्ञान प्राप्त किया और पूर्ण रूप से सन्यासी बन गए। अपनी धार्मिक यात्राओं के माध्यम से समाज में ज्ञान का प्रचार-प्रसार करने वाले स्वामी करपात्री जी महाराज ने तमाम महत्वपूर्ण पुस्तकें और ग्रन्थ भी लिखे। उन्होंने 1940 में धर्म संघ की स्थापना की। श्री धर्म संघ शिक्षा मंडल, काशी की स्थापना कर इसके अंतर्गत विभिन्न स्थानों पर संस्कृत विद्यालयों की स्थापना का श्रेय भी उन्हें जाता है। जीवन के अंतिम समय तक आसक्ति, अहंकार और कर्मासक्ति से स्वतंत्र रहते हुए वे उत्साहपूर्वक वैदिक धर्म संस्कृति के संवर्धन में लगे रहे।

Shri Kashi Vishwanath Prasad through India Post across the country, by remitting eMO of ₹251

After the inauguration of rejuvenated and transformed Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple, the demand for lord Shiva's offering has also increased among the devotees across the country. Under an agreement signed between the Department of Posts and Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust, the Prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple is being made available through Speed Post service across the country. This service was relaunched with add-ons in a new form in June 2020 and so far, about 4,500 people have been provided Prasad through the Postal Department generating revenue of about Rs. 10.13 lakhs. Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of Varanasi Region expressed these views while releasing a special poster for this service, which will be sent to the important Post Offices across the country so that more and more people can be benefited by getting the Prasad of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple at doorstep through Speed Post. At present, high demand of prasad is being received from Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand state by the Department of Posts.

 Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that devotees residing in any corner of the country can order Prasad from Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple through Speed Post. To avail this service, an e-money order of only ₹ 251 has to be remitted from the nearest Post Office in the name of Senior Superintendent of Post Office, Varanasi (East) Division-221001. As soon as the e-money order is received, the Prasad will be sent through Speed Post to the addressee  immediately. The packaged Prasad will be in a tamper proof envelope, on which a replica of the postage stamp issued on the Ghat of Varanasi is inscribed. It cannot be tampered in any way. Apart from this, it can also be obtained from the Varanasi City Post Office counter for just ₹ 201, added Mr. Yadav.

Contents of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Prasad-

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav told that the Prasad includes image of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Jyotirlinga, Mahamrityunjay Yantra, Shri Shiv Chalisa, 108 beads of Rudraksh garland, coin having Bhole Baba’s image inscribed with Mata Annapurna, Bhabhuti, Raksha Sutra , Rudraksh bead, dry fruits, mishri packet etc. Since the Prasad is dry, it may be used for a long time.

Senior Superintendent Post Office, Varanasi East Division Mr. Rajan said that the Postal Department has also made arrangements that the devotees will get the details of Speed Post on mobile number through SMS. For this, it will be mandatory for them to write their full address, pin code and mobile number in the e-money order.

श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर के नव्य-दिव्य स्वरूप में आने के बाद देश भर में डाक विभाग द्वारा बाबा के प्रसाद मँगाने की बढ़ी माँग

श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर के नव्य-दिव्य स्वरूप में आने के बाद देश भर के श्रद्धालुओं में इसके प्रसाद की भी माँग बढ़ी है। डाक विभाग और श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर ट्रस्ट के बीच हुये एक एग्रीमेण्ट के तहत श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का प्रसाद देश भर में स्पीड पोस्ट सेवा द्वारा उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है। जून 2020 में नए स्वरुप में आरम्भ इस सेवा के तहत अब तक लगभग साढ़े चार हजार लोगों को डाक विभाग के माध्यम से प्रसाद उपलब्ध कराया जा चुका है और इससे करीब 10 लाख 13 हजार रूपये का राजस्व डाक विभाग को प्राप्त हुआ। उक्त जानकारी वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने दी।  श्री यादव ने इस अवसर पर एक विशेष पोस्टर भी जारी किया, जिसे देश भर के प्रमुख डाकघरों में लगाने के लिए भेजा जायेगा ताकि देश भर में अधिकाधिक लोग घर बैठे श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का प्रसाद स्पीड पोस्ट से मँगा कर लाभान्वित हो सकें। फ़िलहाल  प्रसाद की ज्यादा मांग कर्नाटक, तमिलनाडु, आंध्र प्रदेश, तेलांगाना, गुजरात, महाराष्ट्र, उत्तराखंड इत्यादि राज्यों से डाक विभाग को ज्यादा प्राप्त हो रही है। 

 पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि देश के किसी भी कोने में रह रहे श्रद्धालु स्पीड पोस्ट से श्री काशी विश्वनाथ मंदिर का प्रसाद मँगा सकते हैं। इसके तहत अपने नजदीकी डाकघर से मात्र ₹ 251 रूपये का ई-मनीआर्डर प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर, वाराणसी (पूर्वी) मंडल-221001 के नाम भेजना होता है। ई-मनीऑर्डर प्राप्त होते ही डाक विभाग द्वारा तत्काल दिए गए पते पर स्पीड पोस्ट द्वारा प्रसाद भेज दिया जाएगा। डिब्बा बंद प्रसाद टेंपर प्रूफ इनवेलप में होगा, जिस पर वाराणसी के घाट पर जारी डाक टिकट की प्रतिकृति भी अंकित होगी। इससे किसी भी तरह की छेड़छाड़ नहीं की जा सकती है। इसके अलावा इसे मात्र ₹ 201 में वाराणसी सिटी डाकघर के काउंटर से भी प्राप्त किया जा सकता है।

श्री काशी विश्वनाथ प्रसाद में शामिल वस्तुएं-

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि प्रसाद में श्री काशी विश्वनाथ ज्योतिर्लिङ्ग की छवि, महामृत्युंजय यंत्र, श्री शिव चालीसा, 108 दाने की रुद्राक्ष की माला, बेलपत्र, माता अन्नपूर्णा से भिक्षाटन करते भोले बाबा की छवि अंकित सिक्का, भभूति, रक्षा सूत्र, रुद्राक्ष मनका, मेवा, मिश्री का पैकेट इत्यादि शामिल हैं। सूखा होने के कारण यह प्रसाद लम्बे समय तक उपयोग में बना रहता है।

 प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर, वाराणसी पूर्वी मंडल श्री राजन ने बताया कि, डाक विभाग ने इस बात के भी प्रबंध किए हैं कि, श्रद्धालुओं को मोबाइल नंबर पर स्पीड पोस्ट का विवरण एस.एम.एस के माध्यम से मिलेगा। इसके लिए उन्हें  ई-मनीऑर्डर में अपना पूरा पता, पिन कोड और मोबाइल नंबर लिखना अनिवार्य होगा।

The 'International Yoga Day' was celebrated enthusiastically by the Department of Posts in various divisions and Post offices. It was inaugurated by the Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav at the Regional Office located at Varanasi Cantt. Head Post Office. On this occasion, he emphasized upon the officers and employees of the Department of Posts to practice yoga regularly and add it to their daily routine.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said in his address that Yoga is actually the science of living a disciplined life. Through 'Yogah Karmasu Kaushalam', this priceless and unique heritage of Indian culture has been adopted globally. In today's materialistic age, yoga is not only a mean to stay healthy, but it is also a strong support for the protection of humanity. This 'International Day of Yoga' has also been realized by dedicating it to the theme 'Yoga for Humanity'.

Superintendent Post Office, Varanasi West Division, Mr. PC Tiwari said that Yoga not only keeps us away from negativity but also creates positive thoughts in our mind. Assistant Director, Brajesh Kumar Sharma said that, by adopting yoga, we all can become partners in building a healthy & fit India. Yoga instructor Shri Harish Chandra Prajapati performed yoga for an hour on this occasion, explaining the importance of various asanas.

अनुशासित जीवन जीने का विज्ञान है योग - पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कृष्ण कुमार यादव

8वां 'अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस' डाक विभाग द्वारा विभिन्न मंडलों और डाकघरों में उत्साहपूर्वक मनाया गया। कैण्ट प्रधान डाकघर स्थित क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय में  पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने इसका शुभारम्भ किया। इस अवसर पर उन्होंने डाक विभाग के अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को नियमित योगाभ्यास करने और इसे अपनी नियमित जीवन शैली में जोड़ने पर जोर दिया।  

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल  श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने अपने उदबोधन में कहा कि योग वस्तुत: अनुशासित जीवन जीने का विज्ञान है। 'योग: कर्मसु कौशलम्' के माध्यम से भारतीय संस्कृति की इस अमूल्य और विलक्षण धरोहर को वैश्विक स्तर पर अपनाया गया है। आज के भौतिकवादी युग में योग न केवल निरोग रहने का साधन है, बल्कि मानवता के संरक्षण का प्रबल अवलंबन भी है। इस 'अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस' को 'मानवता के लिए योग' की थीम को समर्पित कर इसे चरितार्थ भी किया गया है। 

वाराणसी पश्चिमी मंडल के अधीक्षक डाकघर श्री पी.सी. तिवारी ने कहा कि, योग न सिर्फ हमें नकारात्मकता से दूर रखता है अपितु हमारे मनोमस्तिष्क में अच्छे विचारों का निर्माण भी करता है। सहायक निदेशक ब्रजेश कुमार शर्मा ने कहा कि, योग को अपनाकर हम सभी स्वस्थ भारत के निर्माण में सहभागी बन सकते हैं। योग प्रशिक्षक श्री हरीशचंद्र प्रजापति ने इस अवसर पर एक घण्टे तक विभिन्न आसनों की महत्ता बताते हुए योगाभ्यास कराया।

World highest Post Office in Hikkim, Himachal Pradesh inaugurated in Letter Box form

हिमाचल के लाहौल-स्पीती की स्पीती घाटी में दुनिया का सबसे ऊंचा डाकघर है.  समुद्र तल से 14,000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर बसे विश्व का सबसे ऊंचा पोस्ट ऑफिस अब नए स्वरूप में बनकर तैयार हो गया है.  इसका स्वरूप लेटर बॉक्स के आकार का है, जिसका 14 जून, 2022 को हिमाचल प्रदेश डाक परिमंडल की चीफ पोस्ट मास्टर जनरल सुश्री वंदिता कौल ने शुभारंभ किया. अब तक ये पोस्ट ऑफिस मिट्टी के एक घर में चल रहा था, लेकिन अब इसके लिए खास ऑफिस बनाया गया है. 

हिमाचल प्रदेश के रामपुर डाक मंडल के तहत देश का पहला लेटर बॉक्स स्वरूप का पोस्ट आफिस बना है. साल 1983 से हिक्किम गांव में विश्व का सबसे उंचा पोस्ट ऑफिस चल रहा था, लेकिन अब इसे नए लुक में तैयार करके शुरू कर दिया गया है.  जो अपने आप में एक आकर्षण का केंद्र है. हिक्क्मि पोस्ट आफिस से पर्यटक देश-दुनिया में अपने करीबियों को पत्र भेजते है. इसके बनने के बाद से अब स्पिति में पर्यटकों की पंसदीदा जगहों में हिक्किम का यह पोस्ट आफिस भी शामिल हो गया है.पर्यटकों को भी ये लेटर बाक्स की आकृति में चलने वाला पोस्ट आफिस काफी पसंद आ रहा है. 

Department of Posts special campaign for Child Enrolment Lite Client (CELC) service through India Post Payments Bank

Now there is no need to worry about Aadhaar enrolment for children up to 5 years old and linking of citizen’s mobile number with their Aadhaar. From the admission of children in school to taking advantage of social security DBT schemes, mobile linked Aadhaar is mandatory. Now the facility of Aadhaar enrolment of children up to 5 years and linking of mobile number of any citizen with Aadhaar can also be availed at door step through Postman and Gramin Dak Sevak of your area. A special campaign will be run massively for this from June 16 to 18 in Uttar Pradesh Circle. Accordingly, Campaign will also be organized  in 6 districts of the Varanasi Region - Varanasi, Bhadohi, Chandauli, Ghazipur, Jaunpur and Ballia, said Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, Varanasi Region. This will facilitate the population residing in rural and remote areas. For this people can contact their local postman or can also make online request through the Post Info mobile app.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that the Department of Posts is enrolling Aadhaar of children below the age of 5 years free of cost under CELC (Child Enrolment Light Client) service of India Post Payments Bank. Aadhar enrolment of children can be done only with the help of Proof of Relationship (PoR). For this, parents can get their child's Aadhaar registration done with the help of their Aadhaar or any other valid identity card. Similarly, now the task of linking mobile number in Aadhaar through postman can be done easily by paying the prescribed fee of Rs 50 (including tax) at the doorstep.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that through CELC, mobile numbers of more than 7 lakh 28 thousand people have been modified in Aadhaar by the postmen in Varanasi region so far. Now, villagers no longer need to come to the city to get their mobile number linked or modified in Aadhaar as this service is being tendered successfully at their doorstep.

Senior Superintendent of Post offices, Varanasi East Division Shri Rajan and Superintendent of Post Offices, Varanasi West Division Shri P.C. Tiwari said that all the postmen and Gramin Dak Sevak have been directed to take the initiative and cater the benefit of this facility to the maximum number of people across the Varanasi division.

डाक विभाग द्वारा 5 साल तक के बच्चों का आधार बनवाने और मोबाइल लिंक कराने हेतु विशेष अभियान - पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कृष्ण कुमार यादव

अब 5 साल तक के बच्चों का आधार बनवाने और लोगों के मोबाइल को आधार से लिंक कराने हेतु परेशान होने की जरूरत नहीं है। स्कूल में बच्चों के एडमिशन से लेकर सामाजिक सुरक्षा डीबीटी योजनाओं का लाभ उठाने तक मोबाइल लिंक्ड आधार की अनिवार्यता होती है। ऐसे में अब अपने क्षेत्र के डाकिया और ग्रामीण डाक सेवक के माध्यम से भी घर बैठे यह सुविधाएं ली जा सकती हैं। उत्तर प्रदेश के सभी जिलों में 16 जून से इसके लिए विशेष अभियान चलाया जायेगा। इसी क्रम में वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के 6 जनपदों - वाराणसी, भदोही, चंदौली, गाजीपुर, जौनपुर व बलिया में भी यह विशेष अभियान चलाया जायेगा। उक्त जानकारी वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने दी। इससे ग्रामीण और दूरदराज क्षेत्रों में बहुत सहूलियत मिलेगी। इसके लिए लोग अपने स्थानीय डाकिया से संपर्क कर सकते हैं अथवा पोस्ट इन्फो मोबाइल एप के माध्यम से भी ऑनलाइन अनुरोध कर सकते हैं।   

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डाक विभाग द्वारा इंडिया पोस्ट पेमेंट्स बैंक के माध्यम से अब सी.ई.एल.सी (चाइल्ड एनरोलमेंट लाइट क्लाइंट) सेवा के तहत 5 साल से कम उम्र के बच्चों का नया आधार भी निःशुल्क बनवाया जा सकता है। बच्चों का आधार नामांकन केवल संबंध प्रमाण पत्र (पीओआर) की सहायता से किया जा सकता है। इस हेतु माता-पिता अपने आधार या अन्य किसी मान्य पहचान पत्र की सहायता से अपने बच्चे का आधार पंजीकरण निःशुल्क करा सकते हैं। इसी प्रकार अब डाकिया के माध्यम से आधार में मोबाइल नंबर लिंक करने का कार्य मात्र 50 रूपये (कर सहित) का निर्धारित शुल्क देकर आसानी से कराया जा सकता है। 

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि सी.ई.एल.सी के माध्यम से वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र में अब तक पोस्टमैनों द्वारा 7 लाख 28 हज़ार से ज्यादा लोगों के आधार में मोबाईल नंबर का संशोधन किया जा चुका है। इस सुविधा से  ग्रामीणों को अब आधार में मोबाइल नंबर जुड़वाने या संशोधित करवाने हेतु शहर आने की आवश्यकता नहीं है।

प्रवर डाकघर अधीक्षक वाराणसी पूर्वी मंडल श्री राजन एवं डाक अधीक्षक पश्चिमी मंडल श्री पी सी तिवारी ने बताया कि वाराणसी मण्डल में विशेष अभियान के दौरान सभी डाकियों और ग्रामीण डाक सेवकों को पहल करके ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों तक इस सुविधा का लाभ पहुँचाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।

Department of Posts celebrated 'World Environment Day' by making Plantation drive

The Department of Posts celebrated World Environment Day by making a Plantation drive in the Varanasi Region. Postmaster General of Varanasi Region, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav  inaugurated the plantation drive by planting saplings in the postal colony campus along with Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Mr. Rajan Rao . On this occasion, many officials of the Postal department gave the message of environmental protection by planting saplings.

On this occasion, Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav called upon the postal employees to draw their attention towards the increasing pollution in the environment and the anomalies arising due to it, and also called upon every postal employee to become a partner in their redressal by planting saplings.  

Postmaster General Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that trees play an important role in keeping the environment clean and pollution free. It is the responsibility of every citizen to plant a sapling. Trees not only purify our environment, but also provide fresh air for life. There is a need to reconsider the relationship between human beings and the environment in the changing scenario. In Indian tradition, trees are worshiped as God.  If the environment is pure, then the behavior will also be pure.

पर्यावरण संरक्षण को जीवन पद्धति और दिनचर्या से जोड़ने की जरुरत - पोस्टमास्टर जनरल कृष्ण कुमार यादव

पर्यावरण संरक्षण के लिए पौधारोपण बेहद जरुरी है। पेड़-पौधे न सिर्फ हमारे पर्यावरण को शुद्ध करते हैं, बल्कि जीवन के लिए उपयोगी प्राणवायु भी उपलब्ध कराते हैं। कोरोना महामारी ने भी यही चेताया है कि पर्यावरण से खिलवाड़ घातक है। ऐसे में सम्पूर्ण धरा और प्रकृति को सुरक्षित व संतुलित रखने हेतु हमें पर्यावरण के प्रति लोगों को सजग बनाना होगा। उक्त उद्गार वाराणसी परिक्षेत्र के पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने 'विश्व पर्यावरण दिवस' (5 जून, 2022) पर डाक विभाग द्वारा आयोजित पौधारोपण अभियान का शुभारंभ करते हुए कहीं। पोस्टल कॉलोनी, वाराणसी कैम्पस में उन्होंने प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक श्री राजन राव संग पौधारोपण करते हुए पर्यावरण में बढ़ रहे प्रदूषण और उसके चलते पैदा हो रही विसंगतियों की ओर ध्यान आकर्षित करके हर डाककर्मी से पौधारोपण द्वारा उनके निवारण में भागीदार बनने का भी आह्वान किया। इस अवसर पर डाक विभाग के तमाम अधिकारियों - कर्मचारियों ने भी पौधारोपण कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश दिया।

पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि, डाक विभाग सदैव से सामाजिक सरोकारों से जुड़ा हुआ है। पर्यावरण को स्वच्छ रखने और इसके प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने हेतु समय-समय पर तमाम पहल की गई हैं। पर्यावरण संरक्षण को अपने जीवन का अभिन्न अंग बनाते हुए अपनी जीवन पद्धति और दिनचर्या से जोड़ने की जरुरत है। पर्यावरण संरक्षण को जीवन का आधारभूत तत्त्व मानकर ही हम पर्यावरण प्रदूषण जैसी समस्याओं से मुक्ति की संभावनाएं खोज सकते हैं।

वाराणसी पूर्वी मंडल के प्रवर डाकघरअधीक्षक श्री राजन राव ने कहा कि, हमारी परंपरा में एक वृक्ष को दस संतानों के समान माना गया है क्योंकि वृक्ष पीढ़ियों तक हमारी सेवा करते हैं। ऐसे में हर व्यक्ति की यह जिम्मेदारी है कि वह एक पौधा अवश्य लगाए।

इस अवसर पर वाराणसी पश्चिमी मंडल के अधीक्षक डाकघर पीसी तिवारी, सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर सी.एस बरुआ, सहायक निदेशक ब्रजेश शर्मा, सहायक डाक अधीक्षक अजय कुमार, निरीक्षक सर्वेश सिंह, श्रीकांत पाल, वीएन द्विवेदी, कैंट प्रधान डाकघर पोस्टमास्टर रमाशंकर वर्मा, राजेंद्र यादव, श्री प्रकाश गुप्ता, मंजू कुमार, अंकिता, विश्वनाथ सहित तमाम अधिकारी-कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।

India Post launched door to door campaign for payment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi through AePS

Now there is no need to move to bank or ATM for withdrawal of amount received in bank accounts under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi or in other DBT schemes. Department of Posts is giving the facility to the beneficiaries to withdraw this amount from their bank accounts through India Post Payments Bank at their door step. Facility of payment from bank accounts through Aadhaar Enabled Payment System (AEPS) will be available through postman sitting at home. Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of Varanasi Region has directed all the Divisional Superintendents of Post offices and Branch Managers of India Post Payments Bank to conduct a massive campaign for this. On June 4, a mega campaign will be launched in all the districts for this, which will continue till June 13. During this campaign, on the lines of 'Your bank, your door', more and more people will be given the facility of withdrawing money from bank accounts and payment of instalments of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi to farmers will be top priority. Under this, the facility of withdrawal of money will be made available from kitchen to shop and farm-barn, from streets to boats in rivers. Every day an individual can withdraw money up to Rs 10,000 from his Aadhaar linked bank account through the micro ATMs available with the postmen.

Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General, Varanasi Region informed that through Aadhaar Enabled Payment System, India Post Payments Bank is providing door-to-door withdrawal facility by postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks where anyone can easily withdraw money from their Aadhaar linked bank accounts. People sitting at home are now able to withdraw the DBT amount disbursed under social security schemes through the postman of their area and there is no need to go to any bank or ATM for withdrawing payments. Mr. Yadav informed that so far around 15 lakh people sitting at home in Varanasi region have withdrawn an amount of Rs 4.74 billion from their accounts of various banks through the India Post Payments Bank. At the same time, around 55 thousand people have withdrawn more than Rs 23 crore during this financial year so far. This initiative of the Department of Posts has made the concept of 'Your Bank, Aapke Dwar' come true. People have appreciated it and they are taking advantage of this facility with great enthusiasm.

Postmaster General Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav said that helpless people who are physically handicapped, aged or living in remote rural areas where ATM facility is not available, even there by going to the postman of the Postal department and withdrawing money from the bank accounts. 

It is worth mentioning that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, three instalments of 2,000 rupees are released annually under 'Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi' as a welfare scheme for farmers across the country. More than two crore farmers of Uttar Pradesh are getting direct benefit from this scheme. On Tuesday, Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, along with virtual interaction with the beneficiaries of Garib Kalyan Yojana in Shimla, released Kisan Samman Nidhi of two thousand rupees each in the accounts of small and marginal farmers of the country. Now farmers will be able to withdraw this amount through postman sitting at home.
