SAARC Summit Award to Krishna Kumar Yadav

Famous blogger and currently posted as Director Postal Services of Allahabad Region, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav,  will be awarded with ‘Parikalpana SAARC Summit Award’ during the Fourth international blogger’s conference to be held in Bhutan from 15-18th January, 2015 for his work in Hindi literature and reminiscence writings on blog. Under this award he will be felicitated with rupees 25000/- cash prize, Commendation certificate, memento, and Aṅgavastra. This information was shared by Mr. Ravindra Prabhat,organizer of ‘International Bloggers Conference.’ 

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav started his blogging career in 2008, and has been since operating more than ten blogs on various issues. He has motivated a number of people to enter the field of blogging and gave blogging new dimensions through his literary creativity. Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav have two personal blogs, i.e. ‘Shabd srijan ki oar’”(http://kkyadav.blogspot.com) which covers contemporary issues, poems, informative and research based articles etc., whereas ‘Daakiya Daak laya’ (http://dakbabu.blogspot.com) covers history of Postal Services, information about famous personalities related with Postal services, letters, intriguing world of Postage Stamps. These blogs have been viewed by more than million people and are viewed and read from more than 100 countries across the world. 

It is worthwhile to mention here that Mr. Yadav have been awarded with a number of reputed awards for New Media and Blogging at national and international level, Which includes ‘Awadh Samman’ by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, ‘Best blogger couple of the decade’ award together with his wife, ‘Parikalpana literary award’ in Nepal during the International Bloggers Conference.

During the conference to be held in Bhutan discussion will also be about propagation of Hindi, various dimensions of blogging as new media, role of social media in changing times. It is worthwhile to mention here that recently during his visit to Bhutan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has highlighted historical and cultural relations between India and Bhutan and emphasized on mutual harmony and cooperation. This International Bloggers Conference to be held in Bhutan is also in effort in the same direction.
