Hindi is the language of our soul and emotions - KK Yadav

A programme was organized in Varanasi HPO on 27 Sept. 2014 to mark the closing of Hindi Pakhwara. The programme started with the felicitation of Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, by Mr Rajkishore, SSPOs Varanasi East Division, who also outlined the details of various programmes, held during the fortnight.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region, said that Hindi is the language of our soul and emotions, which integrates literature, culture and art. In terms of creativity and power of expression of thought Hindi is unparalleled. Mr. Yadav said that in this age of digital revolution, Hindi is also getting polular in the domain of internet. The Young generation of the country is embracing Hindi in the form of social media and blogging. Hindi has the caliber to become a universal language. At present, Hindi is used not only in India but a number of other countries of the world. Hindi is being taught in more than 150 universities of the world. After Chinese language number of Hindi speaking people is the largest in the world. Today, while the popularity of Hindi is spreading rapidly on computer and internet, people from other countries are coming to India to learn Hindi. Elaborating the importance of Hindi, Mr. Yadav said that the importance of Hindi is being realized as the language of change and development. He emphasized that apart from official programmes, if every Hindi speaking person decides that he will work in Hindi, rise of Hindi as a global language will be unstoppable.

Mr Rajkishore, Sr. Supdt of Post Offices Varanasi East Division said that Hindi is not only our mother tounge its also our official language, and there's a need to broden its use through technology to ensure maxium outreach among masses. Mr. T B. Singh, Superintendent Post Offices, Varanasi West said that Hindi is a language integrates the whole nation and its use in official work shall be promoted.

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, felicitated the winner of various competition organized at Divisional Office Varanasi and Varanasi HPO. In Divisional office for Essay writing Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Supreeta Gupta, Ankita Mishra, for typing competition Murari Lal, Sandeep Kumar Gupta, and Pratima Mishra were awarded respectively with first, second and third prize.  Similarly, in Varanasi HPO, for Typing competition, Harishankar Yadav, Abhsihek Pandey, and Ritu Sharma, for Essay competition Munnawar Ali, Ranjana Prajapati, Abdul Kadir, were awarded respectively with first, second and third prize. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Ganesh Prasad. Vote of thanks was expressed by Mr. H. G. Verma, Senior Post Master.

परिवर्तन और विकास की भाषा के रूप में समृद्ध हो रही है हिन्दी - केके यादव, डाक निदेशक

 हिंदी पखवाड़ा के समापन अवसर पर सिविल लाइंस स्थित इलाहाबाद प्रधान डाकघर में एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम के आरंभ में मुख्य अतिथि इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव का प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक श्री रहमतउल्लाह ने स्वागत किया और हिंदी पखवाड़ा के दौरान आयोजित कार्यक्रमों की रूपरेखा पर प्रकाश डाला। 

इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने इस अवसर पर अपने सम्बोधन में कहा कि जिन देशों में अपनी मातृभाषा के प्रति सम्मान है वहाँ विकास भी ज्यादा हुआ है। ऐसे में हिन्दी को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता। हिन्दी भारत की आत्मा है। इसमें देश को एक सूत्र में बांधने की पर्याप्त शक्ति है। उन्होंने कहा कि हिन्दी में विश्व भाषा बनने की क्षमता है। सृजन एवं अभिव्यक्ति की दृष्टि से यह दुनिया की अग्रणी भाषाओं में से एक है। आज हिन्दी सिर्फ भारत ही नहीं बल्कि दुनिया के तमाम देशों में बोली जाती है। विश्व के लगभग 150 विश्वविद्यालयों में हिन्दी पढ़ाई जाती है। दुनिया में चीनी भाषा के बाद हिन्दी बोलने वालों की संख्या सर्वाधिक है। आज जहाँ कम्प्यूटर एवं इंटरनेट पर हिन्दी की लोकप्रियता चरम पर है, वहीं विदेशों से लोग भारत में हिन्दी सीखने के लिए आ रहे है। श्री यादव ने हिन्दी के महत्व पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि आज परिवर्तन और विकास की भाषा के रूप में हिन्दी के महत्व को नये सिरे से रेखांकित किया जा रहा है।

प्रवर डाक अधीक्षक इलाहाबाद मंडल श्री रहमतउल्लाह ने कहा कि हिंदी पखवाड़े का आयोजन का उद्देश्य सिर्फ हिंदी की चिंता के लिए नहीं होता बल्कि इसकी उन्नति व प्रगति कैसी हो इसे भी संज्ञान में लेने की आवश्यकता है। सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर, प्रधान डाकघर इलाहाबाद श्री ओ. बी. सिंह ने कहा कि हिंदी पूरे देश को जोड़ने वाली भाषा है और सरकारी कामकाज में भी इसे बहुतायत में अपनाया जाना चाहिये। 

निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने इस अवसर पर हिंदी पखवाड़ा के दौरान प्रवर अधीक्षक डाकघर एवं इलाहाबाद प्रधान डाकघर में आयोजित कार्यक्रम के विजेताओं को सम्मानित भी किया। प्रवर अधीक्षक कार्यालय में निबंध प्रतियोगिता हेतु अंकित कुमार तिवारी, प्रियम शर्मा, प्रेम शंकर एवं स्लोगन प्रतियोगिता हेतु प्रेमशंकर, सीरत दुबे, नेहा अग्रवाल को क्रमशः प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया। इस क्रम में इलाहाबाद प्रधान डाकघर में हिन्दी गीत, भाषण, निबन्ध एवं स्लोगन प्रतियोगिताओं में शशिभूषण पांडेय, विभु कुमार, राधेश्याम पांडेय, जीपी मांझी, स्वाती अग्रवाल, अमर सिंह, ओमप्रकाश पांडेय, को पुरस्कृत किया गया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन डाक निरीक्षक दीपक कुमार ने किया।

Closing ceremony of Hindi fortnight organized at Allahabad Head Post Office

 A programme was organized in Allahabad Head Post Office, Civil Lines on 25 Sept. 2014 to mark the closing of Hindi Pakhwara. The programme started with the felicitation of Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, by Mr Rahmatullah, SSPOs Allahabad Division, who also outlined the details of various programmes held during the fortnight. 

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region, said that countries where the mother tongue is respected, are among the most developed countries of the world. As such the importance of Hindi may not be ignored. Emphasizing the importance of Hindi, Mr. Yadav said that the importance of Hindi is being realized as the language of change and development. Hindi is the soul of the nation. It has the power to integrate the whole nation as one. Hindi has the caliber to become a universal language. Throwing light on the progress of Hindi he said that in terms of creativity and power of expression of thought Hindi is unparallel. At present, Hindi is used not only in India but a number of other countries of the world. Hindi is being taught in more than 150 universities of the world. Mr Rahmatullah, Sr. Supdt. of Post Offices Allahabad Division said that the motive of organizing Hindi Pakhwara is not only showing concern for Hindi, but also coming out with plans and ideas for advancement and progress of Hindi. Mr. O. B. Singh, Senior Postmaster, HPO said that Hindi is a language which integrates the whole nation and its use in official work shall be promoted. 

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad felicitated the winner of various competition organized at Divisional Office Allahabad and Allahabad Head Post Office.. In Divisional office for Essay writing Ankit Kumar Tiwari, Priyam Sharma and Prem Shanker, for slogan competition Prem Shanker, Seerat Dubey and Neha Agarwal were awarded respectively with first, second and third prize.  Similarly, in Allahabad HPO; for Essay, Hindi poem, slogan and Hindi Speech competition, SB Pandey, RS Pandey, OP Pandey, Vibhu Kumar, Swati Agarwal, GP Majhi and Amar Singh were awarded. The programme was conducted by Deepak Kumar. 

संगीतकारों के बाद अब साहित्यकारों पर डाक टिकट

विख्यात विभूतियों पर डाक टिकट जारी करने की कड़ी को आगे बढ़ाते हुए डाक विभाग अब साहित्यकारों पर डाक टिकट जारी करने की तैयारी कर रहा है। इसकी शुरुआत हिंदी के महान साहित्यकारों से की जा सकती है। पिछले दिनों संचार मंत्री  के हवाले  से विभिन्न अख़बारों ने इसके संकेत दिए। साहित्य जगत लोगों को इन डाक टिकटों  का बेसब्री  इंतज़ार रहेगा। 

गौरतलब है कि डाक विभाग ने तीन सितंबर, 2014 को ही आठ संगीतकारों पर एक साथ डाक टिकट जारी किया था। डाक टिकटों के इस सेट में भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीत के क्षेत्र में जानी मानी हस्तियों जैसे पंडित रविशंकर, पंडित भीम सेन जोशी, सुश्री डीके पट्टाम्मल, पंडित मल्लिकार्जुन मंसूर, सुश्री गंगूबाई हंगल, पंडित कुमार गंधर्व, उस्ताद विलायत खां और उस्ताद अली अकबर खां आदि शामिल हैं। 

संचार एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने  कहा कि डाक टिकट महज लिफाफे पर चिपकने वाले स्टांप नहीं, यह संस्कृति के राजदूत हैं।

डाकघरों को नया अवतार देगी सरकार

देश में ई-क्रांति लाने को डिजिटल इंडिया मिशन लांच करने के बाद सरकार डाकघरों को नया अवतार देने की तैयारी कर रही है। संचार एवं सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद ने एक उच्च स्तरीय समिति बनाई है, जो मौजूदा दौर की जरूरतों के अनुसार डाकघरों को आधुनिक बनाने का सुझाव देगी। प्रसाद ने बताया कि इस उच्च स्तरीय समिति के अध्यक्ष पूर्व कैबिनेट सचिव टीएसआर सुब्रमण्यम होंगे तथा यह अगले छह महीनों में अपनी रिपोर्ट दे देगी। इस समिति में आईआईएम, अहमदाबाद के पूर्व निदेशक बकुल ढोलकिया सहित प्रबंधन जगत के कई अन्य विशेषज्ञ शामिल होंगे।

प्रसाद ने कहा कि मौजूदा वक्त में आम लोगों की आवश्यकताएं, प्राथमिकताएं और अपेक्षाएं तेजी से बदल रही हैं। इन्हीं अपेक्षाओं को पूरा करने के लिए लंबे समय से डाकघरों की कार्यप्रणाली में बदलाव की आवश्यकता महसूस की जा रही है। उच्च स्तरीय समिति डाकघरों को आधुनिक बनाने के उपाय सुझाएगी। उल्लेखनीय है कि देश में लगभग डेढ़ लाख डाकघर हैं। सरकार की कोशिश है कि डाकघर बैंकिंग से लेकर डाक पहुंचाने तक की सुविधाएं लोगों को मुहैया कराएं। प्रधानमंत्री जन धन योजना के तहत डाकसेवकों को ही बैंकिंग करेस्पोंडेंट बनाने का प्रस्ताव है।

Hindi is most organised language amongst all developed languages - KK Yadav

A programme was organized in Postmaster General Office, Allahabad Region on the occasion of Hindi fortnight on 15 Sept. 2014. On this occasion Postmaster General, Mr. M E Haque said that Hindi is our mother tongue and one should not connect it with Pakhwara only. He addressed the officers and the employees and urged to encourage Hindi in government work whole heartedly so that the status of national language could reflect in true spirit.

Addressing on the occasion Mr Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region, said that Hindi is the most organized language in all the developed language of the world and the Devanagari script is the most scientific script. He said that Hindi emerged as tool, bridging the communication gap across the country and acting as an introducer to our literature, culture and social pride. In this era of Digital Revolution Hindi is rising with leaps and bounds. Today’s tech-savvy generation has accepted Hindi for all such purposes. Mr. Yadav further said that Hindi is inherited with the great vocabulary of Sanskrit and also have a virtue of new word creation.  It accepts words from all dialects and foreign languages. This is the reason behind 2 lakh 50 thousand words in Hindi vocabulary against 10,000 words in that of English added Mr. Yadav.

Mr T.B. Singh, Asstt. Director (Official Language) said that the Hindi is a linking language for the country and it should be adapted vastly in official working.

On this occasion S/Sri L S Mishra, Radhey Shyam Pandey and Vibhu Kumar present their   Hindi poetry, whereas S/Sri Ram Shukla, M S Kushwaha and Vikram Singh expressed their views about Hindi.

The programme was conducted by Sri Madhusudan Mishra and vote of thanks was given by Sr Postmaster Allahabad Head Post Office Sri O B Singh. On this occasion S/Sri, R L Yadav, Ashish Srivastava, Akhilesh Verma, Brijesh Kumar Sharma, Sri Ram Shukla, Vineet Tanon, Rajendra Yadav, Ravi Shanker Mishra and many officers and employees were present.

साहित्य-कला-संस्कृति की त्रिवेणी को एकाकार करती है हिन्दी

हिन्दी-पखवाड़ा के अवसर पर पोस्टमास्टर जनरल, इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र कार्यालय में 15 सितम्बर को एक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर दीप प्रज्जवलित कर कार्यक्रम का शुभांरभ किया गया। 

अपने उद्बोधन में पोस्टमास्टर जनरल श्री एम ई हक ने कहा कि हिन्दी एक ऐसी भाषा है जिसमें अपनी भावनाओं को हम बखूबी व्यक्त कर सकते हैं। सरकारी कार्य-व्यवहार में हिन्दी भाषा के अधिकाधिक प्रयोग किये जाने पर उन्होंने जोर दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि हिंदी साहित्य के साथ-साथ बोलचाल की भी भाषा है अतः इसे सरलीकरण रूप में आगे बढ़ाने की जरूरत है। हिंदी-उर्दू की साझी विरासत  उन्होंने विस्तृत प्रकाश डाला। 

कार्यक्रम को सम्बोधित करते हुए इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं एवं साहित्यकार श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि डिजिटल क्रान्ति के इस युग में हिन्दी इन्टरनेट की दुनिया में भी तेजी से पाँव पसार रही है। आज की युवा पीढ़ी सोशल मीडिया और ब्लाॅगिंग के माध्यम से हिन्दी को नये रूप में स्वीकार रही है। हिन्दी हमारी अन्तरात्मा और भावनाओं की भाषा है जो साहित्य-कला-संस्कृति की त्रिवेणी को एकाकार करती है। श्री यादव ने हिन्दी की समृद्ध परपंरा पर प्रकाश डालते हुये कहा कि इलाहाबाद का हिन्दी को समृद्ध करने में और हिन्दी का इलाहाबाद को समृद्ध करने में बड़ा योगदान रहा है। प्रयाग और हिन्दी एक दूसरे के पूरक हैं । उन्होंने कहा कि इलाहाबाद में सिर्फ साहित्य, कला व संस्कृति ही नहीं बल्कि यहाँ से निकले सिविल सेवकों और न्यायविदों ने भी हिन्दी को देश-विदेश में प्रतिष्ठा दिलायी। ऐसे में हिन्दी की प्रतिष्ठा के लिये सरकारी कार्यक्रमों से परे अगर हर हिन्दी भाषी ठान ले कि उसे हिन्दी में ही कार्य करना है तो हिन्दी को आगे बढ़ने से कोई नहीं रोक सकता। 

सहायक निदेशक (राजभाषा) तेज बहादुर सिंह ने कहा कि हिंदी हमारी मातृ भाषा के साथ-साथ राजभाषा भी है और लोगों तक पहुँच स्थापित करने के लिए टेक्नॅालाजी स्तर पर इसका व्यापक प्रयोग करने की जरूरत है। इस अवसर पर श्री राधे श्याम पांडेय और विभु कुमार ने हिन्दी में काव्य पाठ किया और सर्वश्री राम शुक्ल, एम एस कुशवाहा व विक्रम सिंह ने हिन्दी के सम्बन्ध में उद्गार व्यक्त किये।कार्यक्रम में स्वागत भाषण सहायक निदेशक श्री मुधसूदन मिश्र एवं आभार सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर श्री ओ बी सिंह द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर सर्वश्री आरएल यादव, आशीष श्रीवास्तव, अखिलेश वर्मा, बृजेश कुमार शर्मा, विनीत टन्डन, राजेन्द्र यादव, रविशंकर मिश्रा, सहित तमाम अधिकारी-कर्मचारी उपस्थित थे।

एक निगाह में लखनऊ फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो-म्यूजियम

लखनऊ जी.पी.ओ. में वर्ष 1971 से पूर्व फिलेटलिक काउण्टर संचालित था। वर्ष 1971 में फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो की स्थापना हुयी थी। इस ब्यूरो में लखनऊ व बरेली रीजन के 29 फिलेटलिक काण्उटर सम्बद्ध किये गये थे। फिलेटलिक के विकास के साथ साथ आज उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रत्येक रीजन में एक फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो की  स्थापना की जा चुकी है जिसमें बरेली व गोरखपुर के फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो की स्थापना विगत् मार्च 2014 में की गयी है। सभी रीजनों के अतिरिक्त वाराणसी में एक अतिरिक्त फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो संचालित है। फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो लखनऊ जी.पी.ओ. सर्किल मुख्यालय पर होने के कारण इसका महत्व एवं इसकी जिम्मेदारी अधिक हो जाती है। यह ब्यूरो लगभग प्रत्येक वर्ष कम से कम एक प्रदर्शनी का आयोजन अवश्य कराता रहा है। विगत् मार्च 2014 में राज्य स्तरीय 11वीं डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी यूफिलेक्स - 2014 का आयोजन सफलतापूर्वक किया गया था। इसके अतिरिक्त विभिन्न प्रकार के आयोजन फिलेटली के सम्बर्द्धन एवं विकास हेतु जैसे फिलेटली कार्यशाला, सेमिनार , डिजाइन स्टैम्प कम्प्टीशन व प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगितायें भी प्रतिवर्ष करायी जाती रही हैं।

2. विगत कुछ समय से लखनऊ के डाक टिकट संग्रहकर्ताओं द्वारा लखनऊ में फिलेटलिक म्यूजियम की मांग की जा रही थी, जिसको ध्यान में रखते हुये लखनऊ जी.पी.ओ. में फिलेटलिक म्यूजियम की स्थापना की गयी है। यह म्यूजियम  दिनांक 12.09.2014 से आम नागरिकों एवं डाक टिकट संग्रह प्रेमियों के लिये समर्पित किया गया ।

3. फिलेटलिक म्यूजियम कें प्रथम कक्ष में स्वागत पटल-स्मारक डाक टिकट, विक्रय पटल, माई स्टैम्प, (आप की अपनी फोटो सहित) डाक टिकट का विक्रय पटल एवं डाक टिकट सग्रह से संबंधित पुस्तकालय प्रतिदिन (कार्य दिवस) आम जनता के लिए प्रारम्भ किया गया।

4. फिलेटलिक म्यूजियम के  द्वितीय , तृतीय एवं चतुर्थ कक्ष में भारत की आजादी से लेकर वर्तमान तक भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा विभिन्न विषयों पर आधारित जारी डाक टिकटों के प्रदर्श प्रदशित किये गये है। फ्रेम संख्या 1 से 7 तक: भारत की आजादी की कहानी डाक टिकटों की जुबानी ,फ्रेम संख्या 8 से 12 तकः इण्डिया पोस्ट इण्डिपेक्स, फ्रेम संख्या 16 परः फलोरा फोना, फ्रेम संख्या 17 से 19 तकः स्पेशल कवर (भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा जारी ) फ्रेम सख्या 20 से 24 पर: मेघदूत पोस्टकार्ड  फ्रेम संख्या 25 से 26 परः आजादी के 50 वर्ष , फ्रेम संख्या 27 से 31 तकः इण्डिया पोस्ट इण्डिपेक्स (उत्तर प्रदेश परिमण्ण्डल से प्राप्त), फ्रेम संख्या 32 से 36 परः 1997 से 2000 तक के डाक टिकट, फ्रेम संख्या 37 से 39 पर: प्रथम दिवस आवरण  2001 से 2002 तक प्रदर्शित है।

5. इस नवीन फिलेटलिक म्यूजियम से डाक टिकट संग्रहकत्र्ताओं को प्रेरणा एवं बहुमूल्य जानकारी प्राप्त होगी जिससे वह अपने संकलन को विकसित करके विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में पुरस्कार योग्य बना सकेंगे। म्यूजियम में प्रदर्शित किये गये डाक टिकट एवं सामग्री को दिन प्रतिदिन विकसित व अद्यदित (अपडेट) किये जाने की व्यवस्था की गयी है। शीघ्र ही अन्य विषय जैसे - मेडिकल साइंस, टेक्नालाॅजी, हेरिटेज बिल्डिंग, वाइल्ड लाइफ आदि पर आधारित डाक टिकटों को प्रदर्शित किया जायेगा।

6. आम नागरिकों को डाक टिकट संग्रह को उत्साहित करने के लिये शीघ्र ही रोचक सामग्री जैसे - हाउ टू कलेक्ट स्टैम्प विषय पर विस्तृत जानकारी चित्रण सहित प्रदर्शित की जायेगा। 

7. म्यूजियम प्रत्येक कार्यदिवस में  प्रातः 10.00 बजे से 17.00 बजे तक निशुल्क अवलोकनार्थ खुला रहेगा। इस अवधि में म्यूजियम में माई स्टैम्प काउण्टर पर अपनी स्वयं की फोटो डाक टिकट के साथ प्रिन्ट कराने की भी व्यवस्था रहेगी।

उत्तर प्रदेश का पहला फिलाटेलिक म्यूजियम लखनऊ जीपीओ में खुला

उत्तर प्रदेश के पहले  फिलाटेलिक म्यूजियम का लखनऊ जीपीओ में 12 सितम्बर, 2014 को उत्तर प्रदेश डाक परिमंडल के चीफ पोस्ट्मास्टर जनरल श्री आशुतोष त्रिपाठी द्वारा किया गया। इसमें डाक टिकटों के अलावा तमाम प्रथम दिवस आवरण, स्पेशल कवर, फिलेटलिक स्टेशनरी और अन्य ऐतिहासिक विरासत की वस्तुएं प्रदर्शित की गई हैं।  उत्तर प्रदेश डाक परिमण्डल द्वारा निर्मित यह प्रथम् फिलेटलिक म्यूजियम पूर्णतया वातानुकूलित, कम्प्यूटराइज्ड एवं नयी साज सज्जा के साथ जी0पी0ओ0 लखनऊ में डाक टिकट संग्रह प्रेमियों के लिये समर्पित है। सुबह दस से शाम छह बजे तक लोग  नि:शुल्क म्यूजियम की सैर कर सकेंगे।

लखनऊ जीपीओ में डाक विभाग ने स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन से लेकर अब तक के सफर को चार कमरों वाले म्यूजियम में संजोकर रखा है।  आजाद भारत के पहले दिन (15 अगस्त 1947) मुंबई के एक डाकघर से भेजे गए पत्र का लिफाफा हो या फिर 26 जनवरी 1950 को भारत का संविधान लागू होने का साक्ष्य दर्शाता आवरण। अतीत के झरोखे के ऐसे तमाम यादगार लम्हों को यहाँ संजोया गया है।स्वतंत्रता आंदोलन के लिए महात्मा गांधी की दांडी यात्रा पर आधारित डाक टिकट भी उपलब्ध है। सन 1951 में हुए पहले एशियन गेम पर आधारित मशाल जलती हुई चित्र वाला डाक टिकट भी मौजूद है। महात्मा गांधी की पहली पुण्यतिथि पर 30 जनवरी 1949 को जारी हुआ आवरण भी म्यूजियम की शोभा बढ़ा रहा है। दस मई 1984 को जारी हुआ बेगम हजरत महल पर टिकट, फिल्म अभिनेता राजकपूर और गायिका बेगम अख्तर पर भी टिकट म्यूजियम में लगा हुआ है। लखनऊ घराने का कथक भी डाक टिकट पर उतर आया है।

जीपीओ के पहले तल पर स्थित फिलाटेलिक ब्यूरो ऑफिस में ही इस म्यूजियम को बनाया गया है। म्यूजियम में 39 फ्रेम में डाक टिकट और आवरण को सजाया गया है। फिलेटलिक म्यूजियम कें प्रथम कक्ष में स्वागत पटल-स्मारक डाक टिकट विक्रय पटल, माई स्टैम्प (आप की अपनी फोटो सहित) डाक टिकट का विक्रय पटल एवं डाक टिकट सग्रह से संबंधित पुस्तकालय प्रतिदिन (कार्य दिवस) प्रात‘ 10 बजे से सायं 6 बजे तक आम जनता के लिए प्रारम्भ किया गया।

फिलेटलिक म्यूजियम के  द्वितीय , तृतीय एवं चतुर्थ कक्ष में भारत की आजादी से लेकर वर्तमान तक भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा विभिन्न विषयों पर आधारित जारी डाक टिकटों के प्रदर्श प्रदशित किये गये है। फ्रेम संख्या 1 से 7 तक: भारत की आजादी की कहानी डाक टिकटों की जुबानी ,फ्रेम संख्या 8 से 12 तकः इण्डिया पोस्ट इण्डिपेक्स, फ्रेम संख्या 16 पर: फ़्लोरा-फौना, फ्रेम संख्या 17 से 19 तकः स्पेशल कवर (भारतीय डाक विभाग द्वारा जारी ) फ्रेम सख्या 20 से 24 पर: मेघदूत पोस्टकार्ड  फ्रेम संख्या 25 से 26 पर: आजादी के 50 वर्ष , फ्रेम संख्या 27 से 31 तक: इण्डिया पोस्ट इण्डिपेक्स (उत्तर प्रदेश परिमण्ण्डल से प्राप्त), फ्रेम संख्या 32 से 36 पर: 1997 से 2000 तक के डाक टिकट, फ्रेम संख्या 37 से 39 पर: प्रथम दिवस आवरण  2001 से 2002 तक प्रदर्शित है।

उद्घाटन के दौरान उत्तर प्रदेश के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के पोस्ट्मास्टर जनरल, डाक निदेशक और तमाम अधिकारी-कर्मचारी उपस्थित थे।

Lokpal rule on declaration of assets of babus’ wives stayed

In Lokpal Act's first brush with courts, the Delhi high court on Tuesday stayed one of its rules on public declaration of assets of spouses and dependent children of government employees. 

A bench of Justices S Ravindra Bhat and Vipin Sanghi directed that information on asset liabilities of spouses or dependent children will not be revealed to the public by government departments. It said such information will only be furnished to respective departments in a sealed cover. 

Till its further orders in November, the court made it clear the sealed envelopes reaching all departments shouldn't be opened. 

The court order comes as a huge relief to harried civil servants and central government employees forced under the Lokpal Act to file declarations of their assets and liabilities and those of their spouses and dependent children. HC granted conditional stay on the Lokpal rules on a petition by the wife of a central government employee who termed the government dictate a violation of her "fundamental rights of equality, life, personal liberty and privacy as flowing from Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India." 

Vinita Singla, through her lawyer Manish Jain, questioned the government's decision to seek her assets with the intention to display the information on its website. 

"Even otherwise the constitutional and legal rights, privileges and liberties of the Petitioner cannot be jeopardized and/or affected, just because of the reason that the Petitioner is married to a public servant. 

"The Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act, 2013, which is inter-alia unreasonable, arbitrary, unjustified and unconstitutional, as the same is seeking declaration in the form of information from the public servant even for the assets of the spouse and dependent children, which has not been generated from the income and/or contribution of the public servant in any manner whatsoever and that the said information is further directed to be published on the website of such ministry or department, which will make the said information visible to the public at large, which inter-alia may be detrimental and cause prejudice to the said spouse and/or children of the public servant," Singla argued in HC.

अब डाक टिकट पर हो सकती है आपकी फोटो : वाराणसी में ‘माई स्टैम्प‘ का उद्घाटन

डाक टिकट पर अभी तक आपने गांँधी, नेहरू या ऐसे ही किसी महान विभूति की फोटो देखी होगी। पर अब डाक टिकट पर आप की फोटो भी हो सकती है और ऐसा संभव है डाक विभाग की ’’माई स्टैम्प’’ सेवा के तहत। 

वाराणसी प्रधान डाकघर में 6 सितम्बर, 2014 को माई स्टैम्प सेवा का उद्घाटन करते हुए इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएँ कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि फिलहाल उत्तर प्रदेश में यह सेवा लखनऊ, आगरा व फतेहपुर सीकरी में उपलब्ध है और अब वाराणसी में। उन्होंने कहा कि माई स्टैम्प की थीम फिलहाल आकर्षक पर्यटन स्थलों पर आधारित रखी गई है। माई स्टैम्प फिलहाल 10 थीम के साथ उपलब्ध है, जिनमें-ग्रीटिंग्स, ताजमहल, लालकिला, कुतुब मीनार, हवा महल, मैसूर पैलेस, फेयरी क्वीन, पोर्ट ब्लेयर द्वीप, अजन्ता की गुफाएँं एवं सेंट फ्रंासिस चर्च शामिल हैं। 

डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि माई स्टैम्प सेवा का लाभ उठाने के लिए एक फार्म भरकर उसके साथ अपनी फोटो और रूपय¢ 300ध्-जमा करने होते हैं। एक शीट में कुल 12 डाक-टिकटों के साथ फोटो लगाई जा सकती है। इसके लिए आप अपनी अच्छी तस्वीर डाक विभाग को दे सकते हैं, जो उसे स्कैन करके आपकी खूबसूरत डाक-टिकट बना देगा। श्री यादव ने कहा कि यदि कोई तत्काल भी फोटो खिंचवाना चाहे तो उसके लिए भी प्रबंध किया गया है। पाँंच रुपए के डाक-टिकट, जिस पर आपकी तस्वीर होगी, वह देशभर में कहीं भी भेजी जा सकती है। इस पर सिर्फ जीवित व्यक्तियों की ही तस्वीर लगाई जा सकती है। 

डाक निदेशक कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने इसके व्यावहारिक पहलुओं की ओर इंगित करते हुए कहा कि किसी को उपहार देने का इससे नायब तरीका शायद ही हो। इसके लिए जेब भी ज्यादा नहीं ढीली करनी पड़ेगी, मात्र 300 रूपये में 12 डाक-टिकटों के साथ आपकी खूबसूरत तस्वीर। अब आप इसे चाहें अपने परिवारजनों को दें, मित्रों को या फिर अपने किसी करीबी को। यही नहीं अपनी राशि के अनुरूप भी डाक-टिकट पसंद कर उस पर अपनी फोटो लगवा सकते हैं। आप किसी से बेशुमार प्यार करते हैं, तो इस प्यार को बेशुमार दिखाने का भी मौका है। 

माई स्टैम्प स्कीम के आरंभ के बारे में बताते हुए निदेशक डाक सेवाएँ कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने कहा कि दुनिया के कुछेक देशों में माई स्टाम्प सुविधा पहले से ही लागू है, पर भारत में इसका प्रचलन नया है। वर्ष 2011 में नई दिल्ली में विश्व डाक टिकट प्रदर्शनी (12-18 फरवरी 2011) के आयोजन के दौरान इसे औपचारिक रूप से लांच किया गया। उसके बाद इसे अन्य प्रमुख शहरों में भी जारी किया गया और लोगों ने इसे हाथों-हाथ लिया। नतीजन देखते ही देखते हजारों लोगों ने डाक टिकटों के साथ अपनी तस्वीर लगाकर इसका लुत्फ उठाया। इसकी लोकप्रियता के मद्देनजर इसे अब वाराणसी में भी आरंभ किया जा रहा है।  

इस अवसर पर सीनियर पोस्टमास्टर श्री एचजी वर्मा, डाक अधीक्षक वाराणसी (पश्चिमी) श्री टीबी सिंह सहित तमाम अधिकारी-कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे।

'My Stamp' inaugurated in Varanasi by KK Yadav, Director Postal Services

You have seen, photos of Gandhi, Nehru or any other famous personalities on postal stamps up to, but now there can be your photograph too on postal stamps, and this is possible by ‘My Stamp’ scheme of Dept. of Posts, which was inaugurated by Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region on 6^th Sept. at Varanasi Head Post Office in a function.

On inauguration of 'My Stamp" scheme, Director Postal Services, Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav said that this facility is available in some countries but this is new for India. In the year 2011, this facility has been formally launched in World Postage Stamp Exhibition in Feb. 2011 at New Delhi. After it, this has been launched in some cities of India and people liked it so much and thousands of people enjoyed the feelings of having photographs on postal stamps. Due to its popularity, this scheme is now being started in Varanasi. He told that this service was earlier available at Lucknow, Agra and Fatehpur Sikri only and now in Varanasi too. Further, Director Mr. Yadav told that now "My Stamp" theme is based on famous tourist places. My stamp service is now available in ten themes which include Greetings, Tajmahal, Red Fort, Qutubminar, Hawa Mahal, Mysore Palace, Fairy Queen, Port Blair Islands, Ajanta caves and St. Francis Church.

Director Postal Services, Mr. Krishna Kr. Yadav, told that to avail facility of  my stamp service one have to fill a form and submit it with his/her photographs along with Rs. 300/- only. In one sheet there can be 12 photographs along with postal stamps. For this customers can give their photograph to Postal Dept which will scan and then make it a beautiful postal stamp. If someone wants to spot clicking, this facility is also available. A five rupees postage stamps, having customers photographs can be sent anywhere in the country. This facility is available only for living person.

Director Postal Services, Mr. KK Yadav stated that there can be no better way to gift anyone and it is not costly as beautiful photographs of customers will be there on 12 postage stamps in just Rs. 300/- only. It can give to family members, friends as well as nearby persons. If somebody heartily loves anyone, it is a great chance to show love to him/her.

India Post pay tribute to legends of classical music by Stamps

Music has always been an important aspect of Indian life. There have been many maestros who have nurtured Indian classical music and have made its presence felt in the National and International arena. India Post has paid a tribute to such legendary maestros of Indian Classical Music by releasing a set of eight stamps on Indian Musicians. 

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, Director Postal Services, Allahabad Region told that Dept. of Post has issued 8 stamps on 3rd September, 2014 based on Indian Musicians, which includes  Ali Akbar Khan, Bhimsen Joshi, D.K. Pattammal, Kumar Gandharva, Mallikarjun Mansur, Ravi Shankar and Vilayat Khan. Stamps issued on Ravi Shankar and Bhimsen Joshi are in denomination of Rs. 25/- whereas  other stamps are in denomination of Rs. 5/- only.

Mr. Krishna Kumar Yadav, told that these stamps are available in Allahabad Region at Philatelic Bureaus of Allahabad Head Post Office and Varanasi Head Post Office. Stamps worth more than Rs. 25,000 have been sold to the customers on first day in Allahabad. These customers include not only fans of music but apart from youngsters and school children also include government officials, Judges, Doctors, Engineers, Advocates, and people from Corporate World. Many of these people are procuring these postage stamps for gifting to other persons also. Other than above, these stamps and other items are being also dispatched by registered post to 801 Philatelic Deposit Account holders of Allahabad Philatelic Bureau, added Mr. KK Yadav.

Director Mr. Yadav also told that total 46 lakhs stamps and  4 lakh miniature sheets have been printed. Apart from these, First Day Cover and Information Brochure have also been issued, which are available for Rs. 5/- each respectively. 

भारतीय संगीतकारों को समर्पित 8 डाक टिकट जारी

भारतीय जीवन में संगीत का विशेष महत्व है। शास्त्रीय संगीत जो कि रागों पर आधारित है, देश में लोक जीवन का आधार रहा है। फिल्मों, म्यूजिक एलबमों, लोकगीतों आदि में इसके विभिन्न रूपों का प्रयोग किया गया है। यहाँ अनेक ऐसे संगीतकार हुए हैं जिन्होंने भारतीय शास्त्रीय संगीत को आगे बढ़ाया है तथा राष्ट्रीय व अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर इसे लोकप्रिय बनाया है। भारतीय डाक विभाग ने शास्त्रीय संगीत की ऐसी महान विभूतियों को डाक टिकटों पर स्थान दिया है। 

इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र के निदेशक डाक सेवाएं श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि 3 सितम्बर 2014 को डाक विभाग ने ’’भारतीय संगीतकार’’ शीर्षक से आठ डाक टिकटों का सेट तथा एक मिनिएचर शीट जारी किया है। इनमें अली अकबर खान, भीमसेन जोशी, डीके पट्टम्माल, गंगूबाई हंगल, कुमार गंधर्व, मल्लिकार्जुन मंसूर, रवि शंकर और विलायत खान शामिल हैं। इनमें रवि शंकर व भीमसेन जोशी पर जारी डाक टिकट 25 रूपये मूल्यवर्ग के व अन्य पर जारी डाक टिकट 5 रूपये के हैं । भारत के राष्ट्रपति श्री प्रणव मुखर्जी जी ने  इन डाक टिकटों को एक कार्यक्रम में समारोहपूर्वक जारी किया.

डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने बताया कि इलाहाबाद परिक्षेत्र में ये डाक टिकटें इलाहाबाद प्रधान डाकघर और वाराणसी प्रधान डाकघर में स्थित फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो में उपलब्ध हैं । उन्होंने बताया कि इलाहाबाद में पहले दिन ही 25,000 से ज्यादा राशि के डाक टिकटों को लोगों ने हाथों-हाथ खरीदा। इनमें सिर्फ संगीत प्रेमी और फिलेटलिस्ट ही नहीं बल्कि स्कूली बच्चों  और युवाओं के अलावा विभिन्न कार्यक्षेत्रों में  कार्य करने वाले अधिकारी, जज, डाॅक्टर, इंजीनियर, वकील से लेकर कारपोरेट जगत से जुड़े लोग तक शामिल हैं। इनमें से कई लोग तो इन डाक टिकटों को लोगों को गिफ्ट भी कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा इलाहाबाद फिलेटलिक ब्यूरो से नियमित रूप से जुड़े 801 फिलेटलिक डिपाजिट एकाउंट होल्डर्स को भी यह डाक टिकट व अन्य सामग्री रजिस्टर्ड डाक से भेजी जा रही है। 

डाक निदेशक श्री कृष्ण कुमार यादव ने यह भी जोड़ा कि वेट आॅफसेट प्रक्रिया से मुद्रित कुल 46 लाख डाक टिकट देशभर में जारी किये गये हैं।  इनमें 25 रूपये मूल्य वर्ग वाले हर डाक टिकट 8 लाख की संख्या में एवं 5 रूपये मूल्यवर्ग वाले प्रत्येक डाक टिकट 5 लाख की संख्या में मुद्रित हुए हैं। प्रथम दिवस आवरण एवं विवरणिका के साथ-साथ 4 लाख मिनीएचर शीट और प्रत्येक डाक टिकट की 1 लाख शीटलेट भी जारी की गयी हैं।
